Overview

Get off the tourist path and experience the City of Roses like a local on this guided urban bike tour, which allows you to avoid city traffic, get some exercise, and see attractions up close. Learn about local history and urban design as you cruise along Portland's urban bike paths, stopping to appreciate parks, scenic vistas, and well-known neighborhoods such as Chinatown and the bustling Pearl District.

What to Expect

Your tour starts downtown, where you meet your guide and select your bike. Then, pedal through China Town to Tom McCall Waterfront Park and stop at the Japanese American Historical Plaza, where you can learn about Portland's history and appreciate views of the city.

Next, see Portland's green spaces and towering trees as you cruise along the city's bike-friendly Greenways (designated bike boulevards), past viewpoints overlooking the city skyline.

Then cycle through South Park Blocks, a green corridor in the heart of the city, to appreciate the area's creative urban design and learn about the future of Portland's community spaces.

Complete your tour with a visit to the Pearl District, a foodie neighborhood full of craft breweries and different types of restaurants.

Refreshing, informative tour across Portland.

Fairly non-challenging ride, with lots of interesting tidbits learnt about Portland. Definitely a highlight for us.

Best bike tour for the money

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the city of Portland. He kept us all safe while biking in the street (to be fair, Portland is a lot friendlier to pedestrian and bicycle right-of-way than other American cities), and we all had a great time....More

Informative Tour, Decent Pace, Great Tour Guide

I took this tour solo. Our guide was very engaging and knew tons about the city (random, interesting facts included!). I'd HIGHLY recommend this tour.

yes, PDX airport is a 20-25 minute ride to downtown Portland. Probably $20 Uber or Lyft.
