This tour was truly magnificent and while it was a little bit of a trek to reach the coast, the tour guide Adam, as expressed in other reviews, was awesome with his story telling and knowledge.
Seeing the different coastlines and natures natural sculptures reminded me a lot of home. (New Zealand)
For anyone who has never been to this coast, or seen the ocean before, this is simply breathtaking and highly recommended.
The tour bus was comfortable with hotel pick up and drop off making it easy and the stops encountered far exceeded our expectations.
Don't question if you should do this, if you've got the time while in Portland, then book it!
Be sure to ask for Adam as your tour guide. ;)

Had a wonderful day touring the Oregon coast with our guide Eduardo. Pickup was very convenient and the sights were gorgeous even with cloudy skies. Would definitely recommend this tour to other solo travelers - our group was very friendly and it was a great way to see the coast without having to rent a car.

Adam, aka The Best Tour Guide in the State, was amazing! He is humorous, a great story teller, and gave lots of Oregon history during the tour. He learned the names and some facts about each member of the tour, and offered some extras on our trip. Of course, the coast was magnificent. It was the best part of our trip!

Good stops, but not-so- knowledgeable driver. The time spent at various places should have been distributed differently. We rushed where we should’ve had more time, such as Cannon Beach, and had a lot of time where it wasn’t needed. The van had a gaping hole where the ac system was and it dripped onto us as we were driving. We were offered warm water. The plus was the scenery, you can’t ruin that. It would’ve been nice to be told what the stops were at the beginning of the day because it varied from the published itinerary.

Well, if you like history then you should do it definitely. Very nice and very powerful views . Adam is a very knowledgeable person explaining the history of Portland and Oregon. We had a great time and worth every penny. If you are having a slightly rainy day do not cancel because you will have even a better view. Thanks

Great tour! Our guide Jay was a walking encyclopedia with a great sense of humor. Kept the drives between destinations fun and lively. He also structured our trip well to allow us plenty of time at the main attractions. Over the course of the tour we were able to explore towns, spend time at the beach, enjoy some light hikes (that even a senior citizen on our tour was able to manage), and take in great views.
Bring a light windbreaker or sweatshirt which may or may not be needed. Consider bringing a towel and beach footwear If you plan to try the water (it’s too cold for swimming even in July but nice to walk in up to your shins) or relax on the sandy beaches.

This tour was so fun! I was traveling alone, and I wanted a tour with other visitors so that I would feel safe, but still be able to feel like I was exploring something new. This was perfect for me! Phil, our tour guide, was so knowledgable about the area and the history-I learned a LOT. Each stop was gorgeous and I enjoyed having some time to get lunch and walk around town at Cannon Beach. I even made some new friends on the tour!

My 27 year old daughter and I took this tour with Phil who was outstanding. Only 1 other person on our tour so very personalized-I got soaked feet on the beach so Phil took me somewhere to buy socks ha ha. We loved every minute-this was the first time my daughter had seen the Pacific. We spent time at Manzanitas, saw an old growth forest and the beach at Oswald West State Park, had plenty of time in Cannon Beach for a delicious seafood lunch and to shop, saw Haystack Rock, and our last stop was Seaside as the road to Ecola State Park was still closed due to a landslide/sinkhole and it had started to rain. We also stopped at Camp 18 on the way out for bathroom/coffee break. Phil was very knowledgeable and just one of the nicest guys.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the trip was very nice. The tour guide did know his plants and the area overall. A lot of Portland history as well. On these long tours guides should not feel obliged to talk non stop.

Enjoyed every bit of the tour. From the history of Oregon’s stream donkey, conservation initiatives, old relics, and Haystack Rock. Jeff, our tour guide was entertaining with his great sense of humor and very knowledgeable.

I use a walker.
Can I join this trip?

I would reach out directly to the tour regarding this question. I do not know if there is storage space in the sprinter van for the walker or the tour's policies.
We had a senior on my trip who was able to walk the brief hikes, slowly and still enjoy. Most of the stops are definitely walker accessible but you may require more time than is allotted for the stop to enjoy it properly.
We also stopped as Oswald West State Park which would be only stop that may not be manageable using a walker. There is about a 10-15 minute brief hike down to the rock beach but the water and sand beach are inaccessible unless you walk over the rocks which is unrealistic even if assisted. If you can keep up with the pace, you will still be able to enjoy the view but I do no recall any sitting areas.
Best of luck!
We will be staying at the Crown Plaza Portland Hotel - Lake Oswego. Is it possible for a pickup at this hotel? The address is: 14811 Kruse Drive Oaks in Lake Oswego.

I thought I had to let the tour company know where we are staying in Portland. But I got an answer from someone on Trip Advisor says the tour company will call me. Hope they have a number. I don't want to miss my ride.

We are booked on a tour on 7/17/19 for a bus trip to the Oregon Coast. I need to tell the tour company which hotel we are at so they can pick us up. What number should I call?
You don't need to call, they'll contact you a day or two before your tour. I hope you get Jeri as your guide .
