We enquired about a car via WhatsApp. Got an immediate response. They offered an excellent rate which worked out so much cheaper. Cheaper than the organized trips to different places and cheaper than accommodation transfers. The car was delivered to us and we dropped it at the airport. I would recommend this if you plan to visit different parts of Zanzibar

I rented a car from rafiki on a recent trip to Zanzibar. Pick up and drop off were super easy. Guys were very helpful, offering map and help getting to atm and gas station. Quick response to WhatsApp messages requesting a change in drop off time, which they accommodated.

I decided to rent a car for my holiday in Zanzibar. I booked a Toyota RAV4 3 doors and they upgraded to the 5 doors. The car was in perfect conditions and allowed us to go on every type of road. Believe me, you need a reliable car if you don't want to ruin your holiday since some roads are in really bad conditions. Price in line with the market. Great service of the staff. I recommend!

The staff was there to meet us as we exited the airport upon our arrival, took us to our car, gave us all the paperwork and went with us to the gas station as the policy is to get an empty tank and to return it empty as well. So,we did not have to do it on our own and they helped us with this. When we return the car, someone was already there waiting for us. Everything was quick and simple, and the staff was very friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The car was great and we did not have any problem, even driving on dirt roads. The communication vis emails was always on time and clear. There was no missunderstanding or surprise. Really an excellent service form start to end. Thank you!

We have just returned from two weeks holidays in Zanzibar using Rafiki car rental for all duration of our stay and it was very good decision to choose this company. We used the car for two weeks with no issues at all, and return to the airport just before a flight. Everything went very smoothly We would definitely use this company again.

We rented a Suzuki Escudo for 5 days. I could only recommed this company, very good contact by email. And in Zanzibar by whatsapp ( they even gave us a Sim Card from 2 gb) Correct price, and very friendly people!

We have just returned from 7 days in Zanzibar using Rafiki Zanzibar car rental Ltd for the duration of our stay. I booked ahead via email for 7 days hire, all communications were answered quick and informatively. I arranged to be met at the airport on arrival of my flight, and there were friendly representatives waiting with my name on a board ready to accompany us to our vehicle. I was shown around the car, and talked through the controls. They also provided information on driving in Zanzibar, as well as supplying us with a map, 2gb local SIM card and an umbrella in the boot just in case we were caught out by the rain! We used the car all week with no issues at all, on return to the airport the guy was there waiting at the entrance to receive the car.
