I can't recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, the adventure was nothing short of amazing. Our guide was exceptional - knowledgeable and passionate about the local environment, sharing fascinating insights as we travelled over the breathtaking scenery, it was a fun and unique way to explore nature with family and friends.

Biking the dunes with Dave as our guide was amazing! Dave is so passionate about this biking adventure , he made the experience so fun for our family of 4 (2 kids in their 20’s) Wouldn’t have thought we’d learn so much about the area too! Plants / vegetation and creatures (land and water) Dave is full of knowledge! It was more than just biking ! The dunes were beautiful, and learning how to ride down was exciting and doable for all our abilities. Also Dave takes beautiful photos of us riding and we get all the photos afterwards! It was such an incredible 3 hour activity, making our way to the bottom to the beautiful views of the ocean. Couldn’t get any better!!! Highly recommend Dave and the Fat Bike Tour , a must do!

It was overcast and the fynbos were still wet from rain in the morning. We embarked, mostly downhill, on a single track through the fynbos and suddenly we were in a white desert...a huge opening in the bush with dunes of all sorts of sizes. We did some skiing with the fat bikes down some steep and not so steep declines. In the distance we saw the ocean and suddenly we were there. Huge waves battering the sandsteen cliffs and we could feel the spray coming from the see. A fabulous experience in paradise! Dave you are a fantastic host, we learnt a lot from wildlife the healing power of the cancer bush and more! Looking forward to doing it again.

You'll start close to Gansbaai and will end up where your car is parked. Very nice tour in and around the dunes, great guide.

We enjoyed a perfect combination of sport, amazing landscape and education. Dave is a wonderful guide and if we should ever come back to SA, we will for sure enjoy the sunset tour.

We went on this trip with 3 kids and 2 adults and we really enjoyed the experience. It was really fun and interesting. Dave is such a nice guide, always smiling and giving you advice and anecdotes about the area while showing you the beauty of the dune's landscapes. We recently participated to fat bike activity with Fat Bike Tours in South Africa, and it was simply perfect! We are a family of 5, with 2 adults and 3 children aged 14, 12, and 9, and each of us loved the experience.The route was beautiful and suitable for all ages, allowing the whole family to fully enjoy the adventure. Our guide, Dave, was exceptional. He made the activity both fun and informative, and we want to give a special thanks to him for his kindness and professionalism.We highly recommend this activity to all families looking for a unique and memorable experience in nature. Every time I am in De Kelders I go for a ride with Dave, We did it as a family, as a couple, with a group of 14 . This time with our 2 friends from Austria. Dave is amazing, a perfect entertainer, an awesome photographer and a wonderful guide. He tells a lot of stories about nature, the area, shows you the dunes in the most spectacular and beautiful way. We´ll be back, Dave - see u next year!
