Departing from the Stratosphere Las Vegas, set out to explore the best of the American Southwest landscape on this 3-day adventure. Leave Sin City at 7:15 a.m. and travel 280 miles (450 km) through the Mojave Desert. You’re on historic U.S. Route 66, which takes you to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Have lunch, take a hike, and explore the area on your own, or opt for a thrilling helicopter tour (own expense). Spend the night in Williams or Tusayan.
Day 2 takes you from Grand Canyon National Park to Monument Valley. After breakfast and a quick stop at a Navajo trading post, follow the Colorado River through the Painted Desert. Take a Navajo-guided Jeep tour through the Valley, have lunch, then check in to your hotel in Page, overlooking picturesque Lake Powell. Go on an optional tour of Antelope Canyon, or just enjoy dinner and take in the scenic views.
Day 3 brings you to Zion National Park. Enjoy a sandwich lunch, then go for a hike among the stunning white, pink, and red sandstone cliffs. Admire the giant monoliths inside the park, or take in a ranger's talk at the Zion Human History Museum.
After a full day exploring Zion, board the bus for the return trip to Vegas, having seen some of the most iconic natural landmarks in the Southwest. The minibus arrives around around 9 p.m.
