Overview

See the Grand Canyon’s West Rim on a full-day trip from Las Vegas, which can be customized by adding the Grand Canyon Skywalk and/or a helicopter trip into the canyon with a Colorado River boat tour. Traveling by climate-controlled bus means you’ll see even more of the beautiful Nevada and Arizona deserts, passing through a Joshua tree forest and pausing for a photo at the towering Hoover Dam.

What to Expect

Start with pickup in Las Vegas, then board a climate-controlled coach for the trip to the Grand Canyon. Keep your camera out as you pass the rugged desert’s blowing tumbleweeds, Joshua tree forest, and dry riverbeds.

Pause at the Hoover Dam to snap some photos, and then continue to the Grand Canyon’s scenic West Rim (Hoover Dam stop may happen after the Grand Canyon portion). With three hours to explore, you can hike to Eagle Point and Guano Point, catch a wild west show at Hualapai Ranch, and enjoy an included lunch.

If desired, upgrade to add the Grand Canyon Skywalk and/or a helicopter trip to the canyon base, where you’ll get an up close look at the canyon’s colorful rock on a pontoon boat cruise of the Colorado River. At the end of your Grand Canyon day, this tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.

West Rim is most easily accessible when you are in Las Vegas and should be on anyone's top list. The ideal way to do this to rent your own car since the tour buses take too much time and may not give you enough time...More
