Best architectural tours in Chicago
Aug 2021 • Family
I’ve done several tours in the last couple months, and they all were exceptional. My favorite are neighborhood tours, although downtown tours are also great. I’ve got membership, and it paid off after 2 tours😜

Excellent tour!
Dec 2019
The tour guide was a veteran architect that showed me the most emblematic buildings of the époque, and told me anecdotes about them, and the construction. Very amusing stories. Even though the weather was very cold we also took a walk by the river to know about history of the river bridges. I absolutely recommend the tour!

No, we didn't consider the weather when we booked the tour, and our guide seemingly was unaffected. Excellent introduction to Art Deco with explanations about the uniqueness and symbolism. We will look at the Chicago skyline and facades differently now.

This tour was very informative. We really enjoyed viewing both the inside and outside of great buildings. It is amazing how we could live in Chicago all our lives and yet we continue to learn about our beautiful and fascinating city. Our guide, Betsy, was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and entertaining. She made the tour extremely enjoyable. Thank you. We love continued learning about the architecture of our Windy City.
