About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sherry P0 contributionsTaste of Coeur d’Alene Segway tourThis was a great tour to do in Coeur d’Alene to get to know all the local restaurants. it was our first time on a Segway, but they were easy to catch on to after the first 15 minutes of practicing. Gary is a great tour guide and I would definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Coeur d’Alene.Written 4 September 2024
- CarolynNH990 contributionsTour CDA gave us a great Segway tour! A must-do!Tour CDA was amazing! We did a Segway tour thru Coeur D’ Alaine. Cinde was our guide and she educated us on so many interesting and beautiful sites. We saw so many things and the segways were so much fun. A must-do when visiting this area. Great for all skill levels.Written 25 August 2024
- larry5b60 contributionsAn all-around first-rate experiencThis was my first time on a Segway and I was a bit concerned as to whether I'd 'get it', but tour guides Linda and Cindi were great instructors, and my concerns evaporated pretty quickly. We did some practice around road cones before getting on the road, and by the time we did I was definitely ready. The tour covered a good part of central Coeur d'Alene, and the sights show and information provided made visiting this beautiful city even more enjoyable. Drop everything, click on over to the Tour Coeur d'Alene web site, and book your tour now!Written 24 August 2024

- AcuJoel0 contributionsNervous ConvertsWe were a bit nervous about this tour, having never been on a Segway, additionally 4 hours seemed a bit long. We were dead wrong!! The instruction was outstanding, and the tour of restaurants really was amazing. We had an absolute blast. We are Segway converts now and will look for them on all of our travels forward. Thanks for putting this awesome tour together!!Written 12 August 2023
- 166kjm0 contributionsSegway tour, you'll love it!What a blast! Gary and Red were great hosts. Gary was a great teacher on how to use a Segway! It was safety first. They made sure we knew what we were doing before heading out on the tour of CDA. Gary could have been a history teacher. Knowing so much about the area we toured. And Red made sure we have a photo memory of the tour. They stopped at many locations for a "Kodak Moment." I highly recommend CDA Tours for their Segway tour of CDA. Even if you've never been on a Segway try it you'll love it!Written 7 August 2023

They made sure all 10 of us were comfortable and confident in riding the Segways. My husband has a back problem, so they gave him the scooter. The Taste of Coeur d’Alene was so much fun and the food on the tour was really good. We even went back to buy some more. We plan on doing it again next year and the next year, etc. I highly recommend the Segway Food Tour, it was the best!! Thank you Gary and LindaWritten 12 July 2023
- meganhD3369MM0 contributionsBest E bike rentals in Coeur d’AleneWe loved our experience renting e-bikes from Gary! We called same day and he got us on bikes within the hour. - DayTrip1504740 contributionsGoose Poop EVERYWHERE!!This would be such an awesome place if you could walk on the lawn or paths without stepping in goose poop. It is disgusting. Dogs and children can’t play at all. Goose poop is unhealthy for everyone and coeur d’Alene is such a cute town…..if only. We couldn’t walk anywhere. What is wrong with this town? Go on a goose hunt and feed the geese to the homeless!!Written 6 February 2023
- stevesC4804FS0 contributionsExcellentWhat a great way to spend the afternoon! It was educational as well as fun! We learned all about the history of Coeur D'alene While enjoying the Segway experience.Written 12 October 2022

Even my 14yr old son as we rode away said, “he was really nice”. Their prices are best in town and super easy to book, pick up and drop off. We will be using them again and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.Written 6 August 2022

This tour showed more than the attractions; it also gave a sense of community in CDA.
The schedule is a lesson on the Segway in the beginning (very easy) followed by the tour to both the city, the lake, and nearby parks. There's also some time near the end to really test drive the Segway in an empty parking lot.
There are stops along the way for pictures and the guide also takes video with a fancy gimbal-balanced action cam. Whereas a lot of tourist attractions upcharge for photos/videos, Tour CDA provided them for no extra fees. I liked the variety of places from nature to urban to amusement to historical.
When we did stop, the townsfolk often exchanged pleasantries with the guides. It was a welcome change from the less friendly interactions in big cities.

We (my husband and I) were extremely enthused about the Taste of Coeur D' Alene Segway tour. Gary and Linda are awesome hosts, both knowledgeable and personable. They helped us us discover the historical background of this beautiful city and introduced us to local flavor through a well thought out itinerary that included eating at several (some award winning) restaurants. We loved every minute of our tour and highly recommend anyone willing to learn to ride a Segway (which is so easy!) to see and experience for yourself the beauty Coeur D'Alene has to offer. Our hat is off to our hosts and guides, Linda and Gary. You both gave us an incredible day today! We will be back!

We had a great 1st experience on Segways thanks to Gary & Linda. Linda gave us a very thorough training session prior to leaving on our tour. Gary was real versed in all the history on our tour. We felt we were getting individual attention. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip & plan to do Segway tours in the future & recommend Gary, Linda & their business to anyone interested in seeing CDA, hearing about the history of the region in a safe manner. Our guide was amazing with a happy personality and lots of information about CDA. The tour was one I would recommend to anyone as a first on the list to do when you get into town as once your went on the tour you have a good idea of what areas are the best to go back and visit. First trip to CDA and first time riding a Segway our guide was extremely patient and positive for our training session to learn to ride the Segway after that we were off and had an amazing time.

It’s fun for us to watch people cautiously operate the machines and within five minutes they are all gliding like pros. Thanks!

I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for some fun and a new way to learn more about Coeur D’Alene. This Segway tour company is extremely well run with much thought and attention given to ensuring that everyone has a great experience. The owner, Gary, and his staff spend time training each person how to operate the Segway so by the time the city tour starts, everyone feels confident riding through town. The tour itself is quite interesting with a nice mix of historical and modern day points of interest. All in all, it was a great way to explore the city.

I was nervous to ride the segway at 1st but surprisingly it was really easy to get the grips on it and before I knew it, I was zooming away with my group of friends! The guides Linda and Gary are super knowledgeable and friendly and always willing to help alleviate the initial fear. We started with a short briefing and demostration on how to maneuver the segway and then given time to practice in the parking lot to get the hang of it before we went on the ride. We rode around the scenic downtown CDA, lakeside, historical sights and buildings. Gary was very knowledgeable and would fill you in with the town's history. I was especially impressed with the effort to conserve historical buildings as far back as 1880. 2 hours was too short, it was so fun it flew by quickly!

I was very happy to see a Segway tour in Coeur d'Alene. We have done Segway tours all over the world. None of them have used audio radios. This was great cause Gary could narrate as we went and never had to miss what he said. The 2 of us were the only ones booked so we got a private tour.
This is a wonderful intro to Coeur d'Alene. We had been here a day already, but had missed some great areas. He also pointed out 2 great B&B's to stay at. The 2 hours were perfect.
I really appreciate all the info and the area covered. I would really recommend this tour.

Gary and Linda were fantastic tour guides. They were very knowledgeable about Coeur D’Alene and shared wonderful nuggets about the history of the city. They mixed in a nice tour with speed and playful times with the segways along with more history-rich stops. Our teenagers loved it and it was highlight of our trip as parents.
