Overall very good - but go with the flow!

It was a good experience & safe. Some frustrations with pick-up location & time (time was changed to earlier & I don't check email everyday on vacation). It was also confusing what you are paying for but our ride & "show" were included. Other misnomers - we didn't ride in the type of airboat shown (ours was bigger & covered due to a larger group). Plus we went to "Everglades Holiday Park", not the National Park entry I was assuming to go to. Overall, the agent at the contact number was helpful and the airboat ride was great! Airboats had twin V8 engines - they packed some power (& speed!). Got to see wildlife & a few gators too. Amazing creatures. Be prepared to tip your airboat driver & the alligator handler at the show.

Must visit the Everglades

Our family of six joined the Everglades tour with “Captain Empty” who proved very knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. We were lucky to spot at least 2 alligators and some wild birds.

The alligator show after the airboat trip was highly informative and entertaining plus photo opportunities thereafter.

Great tour to take to experience the Everglades and see alligators from closeup and learn more about them.

WORST BUS RIDE EVER

The airboat and gator show was great...DONT PAY FOR RIDE THERE!!!! we were picked up first, sat on bus for 1 1/2 hrs picking up other people before even heading to the Everglades. I thought atleast they would drop us off first on the way back (so every one would spend an equal amount of time on bus) but no they took the route in reverse...we had to exit the bus and uber back to hotel ( took 15 mins instead of over an hour)

Worst Fake Everglades alligator tour ever

This was the absolute worst excursion I have ever participated in. False advertising at its finest. There was No explanation of transportation in the details of the ad. We signed up for a 60 minute tour without being told it was a total of 6 hours with two different bus rides for over 2.5 hours each way. I was happy to st least see a bathroom on the bus, but oh wait…it was locked. Then approximately a mile from the fake Everglades national park (actually Everglades Holiday park) our bus broke down and we were left on the side of the road and told by the bus driver that we could walk the rest of the way or wait on the highway for 2 HOURS until another bus could get there. After walking to the park the boat was not the boat as pictured in the trip advisor ad. It was enclosed and had plexiglass that you could barely see out of and the guide had a microphone with so much static that we could hear nothing he was saying. We saw more iguanas and birds than alligators and when we finished there was no bus there to take us home. We paid $300 to get us back to south beach and when we called to request our money back we were told absolutely not you got your tour!

Only good part was the airboat ride
This was an incredibly frustrating, almost horrible experience - saved by the fact that the boat tour was enjoyable and pretty (although we saw only one, small alligator, who was obviously upset by the 4 large airboats circling it). The large bus picked us up 20+ min late and proceeded to spend more than another hour picking up additional customers. The comments from the “guide” on the bus were useless. You can buy tickets to the exact same airboat ride at Holiday Park - it was pleasant, but don’t expect to see alligators. Apparently, seeing 1 is a stroke of good luck. Then you have to wait (for us, over 30 min) to see the alligator show, which is very depressing. There were 18 alligators contained in a very small area that consisted of sand, concrete-lined ‘pools,” and fake grass.

TAKE A DIFFERENT TOUR!!!

Drift through grass islands, few quick bursts of speed
Tour is longer than they say. Well tranfers are anyway. We were to,d 940-140 and got back at 3 40
940 pick up for a drive to the glades .
Get on the boat at 1140 . It is a large air boat ,there will be about 15 of you on it
. A few(3) bursts of speed for 30 sec or so. Otherwise just putteering around the glades for an hour or so ,listening to some info about grasses. Saw 2 aligators. Back to land waited 15 min forthe stadium to fill so a guy could show us an alligator. IF YOU WANTED TO you could get your photo taken with a baby alligator. There appeared to be another couple of animals in small enclosures/cages On the bus for a lunch stop at a truck stop diner ....back to hotel.
The touts are asking$55 for this ,you can bargain down to 45. I cant help but feel that there other things i could have done

Amazing Experience
This experience was exactly what I expected. Beautiful scenery and an amazing airboat ride. I seen alligators and different kinds of birds while on the airboat followed by an alligator show right after. Everybody was nice and professional. I would recommend everyone to do this experience.

Do not book: it’s a scam: they charge you and don’t show up nor can you call and speak with someone.

Do not book with this company. I had a 9:30 slot picked and no one called nor showed up to pick us up from our hotel. I tried calling and emailing the company to get no answer nor response by email. My wife and I waited over 30 minutes at the meet point and there was 0 communication from this company. No one picked us up and we got a call around 10:15 from the company saying that they had cancellations and didn’t have enough ppl to go on the trip. I still have not got my refund!

The endless bus ride

We sat on bus for more than an hour picking up people while sitting in local traffic. Driver often leaving the bus to find the customers. We bailed out and got off the bus and went back to hotel as we didn’t want to waste so much of our vacation time riding around picking up people and seemingly going nowhere. I will not recommend this to anyone. They ought to refund my payment but I doubt that will happen.

Great experience but give yourself a lot of time
Great tour and experience. Bus pick up to and from South Beach was like a guided city tour. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Time duration was a bit off, with pickup and drop off the total trip time was more like 6 hours.
