Overview
Cruise through prime Key West dolphin habitat on a tour that combines dolphin watching and coral reef snorkeling. You’ll head offshore to seek out the bottlenose dolphins that thrive in the Florida Keys, and then continue to a snorkeling spot on a shallow-water coral reef, with colorful sponges, corals, and vivid schools of fish. All snorkeling gear is provided, and the crew can help beginner snorkelers get comfortable in the water.
What to Expect
Board a catamaran for a trip into Key West dolphin habitat; the native Atlantic bottlenose dolphins often travel in pods, so watch for sleek, gray fins just above the surface of the water. You’ll visit the Key West “dolphin playground,” a shallow area surrounded by mangroves that wild dolphins use to feed and mate.

Following the dolphin-watching part of this cruise, continue to a coral reef in the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Grab the provided snorkel gear and slip into the water, with the option to get a short snorkeling lesson from the crew. Then, check out some of the 600 marine species that thrive in Key West's coral reefs.

Throughout the dolphin and snorkeling cruise, sip cold beer and wine as you enjoy a mix of sunny and shaded space aboard the catamaran.

Great experience

My girlfriend and I recently went on this tour. We chose the one starting at 5:30pm because we thought it would be easier to spot wild animals early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Captain Jim and Nikki were really friendly and accommodating....More

Gotta Love It

The cruise was very well done by Captain ANA and Rachel. What two great attitudes. They made it fun and were extremely service oriented. I would go back and I would suggest Ana and Rachel as your go to staff.

Dolphins are amazing!

The weather looked a bit iffy when we started out and our captain made sure everyone was comfortable with the possibility of rain and allowed for those uncomfortable to opt out. I don't think anyone did and lucky that everyone stayed. within a short time...More

I didn't see life vests for snorkeling (other than standard life vests for safety). They did have us put on a device that you can blow to be as bouyant or not. You'd have to ask the crew or company if it would be sufficient... More

I didn't see any, but that doesn't mean they don't provide it. There were young kids but more like 10 years old who were snorkeling. I'd call them first to confirm.

As for the walk, it was about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the cruise ship dock to the dock where the snorkel boat was. It is an easy walk through downtown. Yes your kids could swim why the others snorkel. They just kept... More
