Overview
Designing your itinerary in Fort Lauderdale is easy with so many activities available from which to choose. This particular riverboat cruise is offered multiple times each day and only lasts a couple of hours, so you can sneak it in between other plans. And, with a stop at a tropical isle, you’ll definitely want to add this tour to your agenda.
What to Expect
Meet for this Fort Lauderdale cruise at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center. Boarding happens about 45 minutes before your actual departure time.
Your cruise sets sail on the New River. Pass by the mansions and yachts of Millionaire’s Row on your way to Jungle Queen Tropical Isle.
Once you arrive on the isle, keep a lookout for alligators and other Florida wildlife. There’s a concession stand, where you can buy snacks and drinks if you’re hungry.
After a short while on the isle, reboard your ship and return to Bahia Mar Yachting Center.

Make sure you hop on the right boat!

My mom and I visited over the summer and thought we'd take the 90 minute tour after seeing an advertisement for it in the airport. We arrived at the check-in time provided in the confirmation and it was extremely chaotic. We received our printed tickets...More

Nice ride with excellent narration

I really enjoyed the Jungle Queen Riverboat Cruise. True, my expectations were fairly low, but they were certainly exceeded. Look, I wouldn't go out of my way to do this, but as a nice way to transition from a cruise to the airport, it hit...More

We took the 3 hour cruise. The narrator was very good...had many jokes and fun facts, as well as describing the different places we passed by. We stopped at the "island" for an hour and enjoyed looking around at the animals there. Enjoyed the many...More

Thank you for choosing to cruise with Jungle Queen! And, glad that you had a 4 star experience. :) So many sights to see, and cool fun facts to learn about while cruising down, and over to our private island.

Riverboat crouse

Very informative view of the wealth in Ft. Lauderdale. The boat offered a bar on board with tasty drink specials. And the guide was informative and funny as well.

Nice boat trip

The boat trip was nice and relaxing, the island that is not an island, where you go for an hour was just not worth it. The alligator show I did not enjoy, it seemed cruel to me. Others enjoyed it. The guy stuck his head...More

About 90 minutes... Seriously though, shorter cruise takes you through the homes along the intracoastal waterway. The longer cruise does the same as the shorter cruise but also takes you to an island owned by the company... More

No. This is not that type of cruise. It travels down the Intracoastal waterway and is only a few hours long, depending upon which cruise you take. It is not far from either the port or the airport and easily accessible... More
