It was easy booking this trip even on a busy holiday weekend. The small group of 6 made for an in-depth tour with a relaxed atmosphere.
Our guide Don was very knowledgeable and I liked his laid back vibe.
We never felt rushed and Don had something interesting to tell about any subject that came up. You have to ask him how he knows Diana Nyad :)
Highly recommend this tour and on a personal note I really appreciate the very clean bathrooms at the checkin location. Says a lot!

Our trip was perfect, it was a beautiful morning and Captain Dan was awesome! He’s very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. He pointed out wildlife, including a bald eagle and an osprey family, and told us about the history of the indigenous people…among other things.
Lastly, he turned us on to Boatwreck BarBQ and Seafood, located next to Smallwood Store…yummy!!
The early morning drive from Key Largo was well worth it!!

My wife and I went on the boating / kayaking / walking tour. It was a beautiful day. We were joined by 4 other folks plus our captain Jason. Jason was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the natural beauty of the Everglades. He was a good boatsman and was great help getting us into the kayaks from the boat and vice versa. The park was beeming with natural beauty. We saw several species of birds, horseshoe crabs, three different types of mangroves, and dolfins just to name a few highlights. Thanks for the education Jason. We would recommend this tour to others.

My husband and I booked this tour while staying in Southwestern Florida for a week's vacation. Captain Seth met us at the business headquarters and drove us by golf cart to our boat waiting loaded with our kayaks. Seth was very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. He was enthusiastic about an area he clearly loves. He made us feel very safe and comortable on the water in this environment. The highlight of the trip was the dolphin show going on behind our boat for almost 2 miles. You don't get better than this at Sea World. We had a dolphin body surfing in our wake, jumping from side to side and spiraling into the air at one point. It was incredible.

It was a fun and informative tour especially with kids. Capt Dan certainly has a knack for keeping all age groups entertained. Learnt a lot and the kayaking was fun too. We saw several pairs of dolphins, sharks, horseshoe crabs and several kinds of birds including nests and chicks of Osprey.

This was a perfect tour! Captain Dan was super knowledgeable and took time to explain the ecosystem, the history, and the flora/fauna we saw. He taught us about the conch and even found Native American artifacts (a shell hammer and bits of pottery) on the secluded beach we explored. The kayaking was very special going thru mangrove tunnels to hidden lakes. Was totally worth it!

Truly appreciate Dan’s passion for the environment and his knowledge to share with us. My daughter sponged up every word he said about the Mangroves and Sea Life around it. To see the dolphins in their natural habitat collecting their fish was so much better than looking at them encased in an aquarium. Osprey nests filled with chicks and Mom and Pop not far away keeping watch. Even some horseshoe crabs mating at a shoreline of one of the islands was an experience. If you want a true encounter with nature around you this was a perfect trip. Of course my daughter would prefer a daily exploration and this is one way to allow her to discover the world with people like this that offer just a little more than most with ways to make a living but respecting the environment and our animals that live among us. Thanks so much. We look forward to another trip for sure.

Thank you for your review. We are dedicated to education. We feel that it is only through education we help save what is left of the Everglades ... while there is still time.

If you're looking for an authentic nature experience, this isnt it. We weren't told we could have been picked up at our hotel which lead to rushing through breakfast and $25 parking fee.
Drive around miami and to park was fine. Some nice historical info. Guide was pleasant.
Ride is on a large airboat. Could probably accommodate 40 + people, though group more like 15 to 20.
It was fine, short, and through an area of canals dug by army corps. Can't say of representative of rest of everglades or not.
Alligator show was fine. Little circus like, but nothing really wrong with that. They do provide a sanctuary for Gators that would otherwise be destroyed, so thats good.
Best for families with small kids.

It was a wonderful experience. I and my husband excaped NYS for the weekend. It was our first trip to Florida (the one many years ago to Orlando with kids doesn't count :)), we just got off the plane and we immediately fell in love with Southern Florida thanks to Don. Our guide Don was very knowledgeable in history of the area and animal behavior, great story teller, very welcoming. We will definitely return!

What a beautiful way to explore the Everglades! Captain Dan was so knowledgeable about the history and animals/plants found in the Everglades. We did a four hour tour (boat assisted kayak eco tour) and only saw four other boats during that time. We saw lots of birds, a raccoon swimming (who knew?), and a couple of Atlantic bottle nosed dolphins. We got out on a deserted island and saw lots of beautiful shells and several sea turtle nests. We finished with a kayak paddle tour around another uninhabited island. It was just the right amount of kayaking. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat. We learned so much about the Everglades and feel like we truly were able to not experience them but truly appreciate the beauty and importance of them.
Great job, Captain Dan. You obviously love and respect the history and culture of the place you call home.

Thank you very much for your review. The Boat Assisted Kayak Eco Tour is awesome...but nothing in comparision to the Everglades. Dan definitely is passionate about his back yard. Please come again!
