Foothills Explorer Tour From Denver
From US$69,00
Soak up the scenery and culture of the Rocky Mountains—even if you have a limited time—with this half-day tour from Denver. Check out the sandstone acoustics of Red Rocks Amphitheatre, drive through alpine forests on the scenic Lariat Loop, and get panoramic views of Colorado’s Front Range from atop Lookout Mountain. It's a great way to see the outdoor playground on Denver’s doorstep without renting a car.
What to Expect

Make your way to historic Union Station in downtown Denver and head west with a guide and small group. Reach the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in less than 30 minutes, stopping first at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre music venue, where sandstone cliffs provide naturally perfect acoustics. Wind through Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen, a great place to stop for refreshments (own expense).

Drive on the scenic Lariat Loop route to the top of Lookout Mountain, site of Wild West showman Buffalo Bill’s grave and stunning views of the Front Range. On the way back to Denver, pass through the town of Golden, best known as the home of Coors brewery. You’ll be dropped off back at Union Station in time to grab a late lunch or continue exploring downtown Denver on your own.
