Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley
Go wine tasting without the stress of driving or need to decide between dozens of renown tasting rooms. Instead, hop aboard the adults-only Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley and get chauffeured through the picturesque rolling hills. All the planning and navigating is handled for you as you sample wines at four different wineries, taste regional varietals and enjoy a delicious picnic prepared by beloved restaurant The Girl & the Fig.
What to Expect
Find your trolley, a replica of a classic San Franicsco cable car, midmorning at the Sonoma Plaza. Then, meet your guide and grab a seat. As the trolley winds through the Valley, you’ll be free to focus on the view.

Between stops, your guide shares local folklore and colorful history as you pass landmarks like the Mission San Francisco Solano and the Bear Flag Monument. For lunch, a French country-style picnic lunch is served family style, allowing you to select your choice of salads, sandwiches and desserts from the beloved local bistro, The Girl & the Fig.

During the 6-hour outing, you’ll visit four different wineries—each selected based on its superior wines and pleasant atmosphere. You’ll learn about quintessential California varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as you taste. (Tasting fees are not included.) Your tour ends back where it began.

First time in Sonoma

Since this was our first time visiting the area, this was a great option in order to visit several wineries. The included lunch was a nice bonus.

The Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley is a great way for a first time visitor to see the valley or as a refresher for those of us that live here.

Great Tour for the Price

For our second tour on our Somoma/Napa trip, we traveled to the town of Sonoma to take the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley. This was one of the more "touristy" tours we took, but it turned out to be the best. The trolley is a reproduction...More

Very nice wine tour

Our guide (Eric) was very nice and knowledgeable, and took care of us very well. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that the trolley itself, is a bit... uncomfortable. But what do you expect it's a trolley... I just think it...More

Thank you for the review. The trolley is a bit bumpy but as a heavy vehicals goes it smoother than most. Will look into some new springs.
