An Unremarkable Stroll in Downtown LA
My expectation for a tour is that we will be taken places we could not otherwise go on our own, or shown things we would not otherwise find on our own. In the absence of either, I would have expected in-depth information which this tour guide lacked. This "tour" was merely a several block "look-at-that" tour, an unremarkable experience at best.

Beautiful Architecture!

Loved this tour! Phil was a great guide. He gave us much more than just the intricate design features of the buildings. He gave us history, humor, and fun little tidbits of information regarding the architects, owners, and other things that made the journey that much more interesting. Again, LOVED it! Would love taking the tour again!

Awesome personalized tour of downtown LA
Dec 2019 • Solo
This is a great tour, mostly thanks to my guide, Phil.

Very easy registration, and the drive to downtown wasn’t bad. I even found parking for <$10 all day. DTLA sent a couple of texts to contact beforehand, Phil was right on time. I was the only guest, so it was two hours of personalized guidance, beginning with a solid history of LA and ending with recommendations for more to see on my own afterward (Biltmore Hotel & Intercontinental Hotel lobby for a panoramic view of the city.

Again, Phil’s knowledge and personality made this tour great. Highly recommended!

Nice experience
Aug 2019
We had a really small group of three people on the entire two (four with the guide). The guide was informative, and a professional that has been doing tours like this for years. She was able to answer questions and comment on many things outside of just what was on the tour. I don't travel often, nor take tours like this. Was surprised when my fellow tour guests provided a tip at the end, I didn't realize that was a thing. I felt bad for not doing the same, and while she did a great job, I am still of the opinion that I had paid for a service, and the service was delivered. End of transaction. There was never a guilt trip or any mention of a tip, so no issues there. Just be prepared for it. Would recommend this tour though.
