      Unprofessional service
I phoned twice on 6 January 2022 to book a family snorkeling trip in False Bay. Each time I was told that they would phone back with a booking once they had confirmed their availability and the weather. It is now 21h57 on 7 January 2022 and I am still waiting for their callback. This is very disappointing as they had been recommended by a friend for good snorkeling. Overall very disappointing and unprofessional service

      Paddle with the Penguins
This was really a wonderful experience. I love Penguins and it was great to see a little of them in their natural environment and from a different perspective. Terry is very passionate about the Penguins and what he does. The first day I was scheduled, the weather was not good and we couldn’t go out. It was totally out of their control and to have gone in the windy weather probably would not have been much fun. Instead of saying sorry and just sending us on our way, Terry took some time and took us on a guided walk along the coastline to show us the Penguins. I thought that was great customer service and I learned more about the Penguins. I rescheduled to come back a later day and the person I was traveling with could not come. Again, Terry handled everything wonderfully. The communication was great and handled professionally. I arrived and Terry went through everything, including what I hoped to see and my kayaking experience. We got in the water and got going. I saw plenty of Penguins and it was great to see them in the water. Terry was very knowledgeable and explained their behavior. After watching Penguins for a while we landed on shore and checked out some tide pools. We got back on the water and made our way to an island with a seal colony to watch them for a while. Then we made our way back to the beach. It was a great experience. There are some other kayak operators in the area and I saw a couple of them on the water. I chose this experience based on their reviews and because they were closer to the Penguin colony. The other operator is based in the local harbor and they seemed to just go back and forth along the shore, so I think they spend a fair amount of time paddling to and from the harbor rather than watching Penguins, seals, etc. And most of all the other tours don’t have Terry and his experience and passion about the Penguins, kelp forests, and other wildlife. Next time I’m in the area I’d gladly go paddling with Terry again and there’s some other great snorkeling trips they offer I want to do. Take a trip with Terry, you won’t be disappointed.

      A great educational adventure!!!
We have 4 boys, ages 11-5. We took the morning Kayak trip and had a blast!! We learned so much about about the South African Penguins! Terry was great with our boys, challenging them in their kayak navigation skills and knowledge of the ocean and it’s wildlife. He really has a passion for what he does and it’s infectious! We highly recommended it!!!

A great morning on the water
My wife and I and a friend of ours are experienced kayakers and have done many trips in various spots around the world- and this is definitely one of the very best anywhere. They provide first class kayaks along with a pullover shirt and top of the line personal flotation devices. On our nearly three hour tour we not only saw penguins and seals up close but also a wide variety of sea birds. Our guide was a experienced Naturalist who was very, very knowledgeable about the area. Perhaps best of all this operation supports both a variety of ocean preservation activities as well as a numbers of programs that teach children from the townships to swim and kayak.

      Snorkeling with Seals!
Very fun and great for seal lovers! We kayaked out to a rock where all the seals live. It was a short kayak trip took around ten minutes. From there we got to snorkel with the seals for about 45 minutes. You don't actually touch the seals but they will come right up to you and swim. It was so fun being up close with them in their natural environment. After that we kayaked by some penguins and went back. Overall, it was about a three hour tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and made everyone feel safe. I would recommend for any seal lover.

      Snokeling with seals!
Had a great adventure with Terry on the Seal Snorkeling adventure tour! Making a reservation was very easy via their website. When we arrived, Terry outfitted us with all the gear we needed- wetsuits, booties, snorkels, life vests- you name it! We then kayaked a short way out to the rock where the Cape Fur Seals live. It was amazing snorkeling with them for 30+ min, watching them flip around, bob upside down and swim all around you. Felt very safe and secure the entire time! We then ended the trip by climbing back into the kayaks and doing a short paddle past the Boulder Beach penguins. A great trip! Would love to do it again!

      Unprofessional and unreliable organisation
I travelled all the way from Worcester to meet two friends for a paddle, to celebrate our birthdays. When we got there, there was no-one there, despite written confirmation of our booking. I left two voicemail messages on two different cellphone numbers for this company and also sent them an email. Two days later I have not had a response!

      Amazing Experience
Shark Warriors Adventures are first class and always ready to accommodate any swim adventure need. Their Swim Like A Shark program is amazing. So many options for the adventurer looking to experience the ocean and ocean creatures upclose. We've held starfish and sea urchin, found mermaid purses, swam beside penguins, and seen whales while there. Experiencing the ocean wildlife while still learning how to not cause harm.

      Superb
We rented 2 ocean kayaks from Shark Warrior. they are in Simonstown and not Fish Hoek. They were accurate in what they told us we were renting. They are passionate environmentalists and were full of advice and tips on what we were going to see. this is a highly recommended activity. it was safe and great fun. They are great people doing great things to sustainably protect the marine environment.

A very enjoyable experience with our host Terry. Shark Warrior Adventures is situated very close to the penguins - less rowing and more time with the penguins. We were also joined by a lonely seal that swam between the kayaks.

What an experience! We opted to see Boulders Beach from the sea and I am so glad we did! We were able to have incredible views of the penguins, seals and even were hoping by 2 whales!!! Oh and then we were greeted back on the beach by some baboons! Wow! Terry was our guide and was phenomenal, passionate and knowledgeable. We booked our tour through AWOL adventures who then connected us with Shark Warrior. This was the most perfect day to experience everything at Boulders beach. I wish we had more time to do diving/snorkeling with Shark Warrior… we will save that for our next trip. I would not have wanted to do this any other way. Thank you!!

Wow what an amazing experience we had with our guide Terry. He was so knowledgeable and passionate not only about the penguins, but the whole ecosystem. He answered many questions about the penguins, sharks, orcas, climate change and anything else you wanted to know.

I left Terry wanting to stay and help them anyway I could. I'd like to also acknowledge the local lad (I forgot his name) who assisted Terry. Very smiley and courteous and professional.
    Thoroughly recommend.

I’m not usually keen on group trips but this one was definitely one I was glad I did! Terry was so knowledgeable and interesting along with his two guides. We saw penguins, seals and birds - all from a safe distance and with no impact on them at all. Best day out!

The customer was informed that the trip had in fact been cancelled, due to wind and they did not receive the message. They were fully refunded and thanked me at the end of it and they said they will be back!
