This unique new experience is a hot contender for Franschhoek’s famed wine tram. The tractor experience is more personal, farm oriented and authentic in my opinion. I went with a group of friends and we visited some of Stellenbosch’s best wineries. If you enjoy wine tasting, this is the way to do it!

This is the perfect day trip in Stellenbosch. There are over 150 wineries in the area. How do you choose which ones to visit, and how do you plan? The Wine Tractor solves a large part of the conundrum. Great excuse to drink wine on a Sunday morning! Will have to return to visit the farms we missed the first time around.

What an awesome experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out in the Stellenbosch wine lands. Wonderful wine farms and gorgeous food.

Must do day trip. They stop for about an hour or hour fifteen minutes at each wine farm so it’s a whole day activity. Guide Beatrix is very knowledgeable. Tractor seating is very neat and clean, and you get a welcome drink upon arrival. Fun activity to do. Would definitely recommend to do at least once.

We went on the tractor on a Sunday and it was the perfect way to explore new unique wine farms while traveling through the vineyards with amazing views. Highly recommend!
