As a bunch of 50- 60 year olds we have a day touring on Harleys. Great fun, very friendly and felt safety was their top priority . We toured the vineyards and George was so helpful in making sure we had reservations, great tables and an overall fabulous time .

It all started with the beautiful bikes roaring down the drive to collect us. Our riders George & Juliet were very reassuring giving us advice before getting on the bikes. Then we were off, had a lovely tour around to admire the stunning scenery that Cape Town has to offer. Had several stops for taking photos and for a coffee. Was also lucky enough to spot dolphins riding the surf. We could have not wished for better riders, they were courteous, fun and above all we felt 100% safe in their hands. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone else. Thanks so much to you both for our best experience yet in SA.

George is amazing! Absolute best time with him and his coworker Juliette. They took us on a unique and beautiful ride, filled with tons of information and great laughs. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Absolutely must go if you’re in the area!

I just spent one week in Cape Town and this was in my top two best experiences in South Africa. Not only do you feel the wind in your hair, enjoy a coffee with a local person, you see parts of Cape Town you wouldn’t see on a hop on hop off/walking. It’s so nice to spend quality time with a local like George who has a warm and professional demeanour and is extremely proficient in his knowledge of South Africa as a nation. I was on such a high all day after riding in the morning in the sunshine with George and can’t wait to return at Christmas time to experience the garden route. If you want a unique experience in Cape Town, book a Harley ride with George! Adventures truly are what makes life wonderful. Thank you George but making my trip so memorable. I do not usually leave reviews, but I honestly could not recommend George (Skaris touring) enough. As a guide, he is knowledgeable, flexible, punctual, amicable, a great driver and was always extremely helpful no matter the ask. As a person, he is charismatic, very likeable, easy to talk to (he can literally get along with anyone), can read the room well, and was overall just a pleasure to be around and have as a tour guide. My partner's family and I visited multiple locations along the Garden Route. We had a rough itinerary, which George helped us plan, but he was also invaluable in helping us with the more ad hoc aspects of the trip, including where to eat, where to stay and what to do during the days we had nothing planned. Again, I could not recommend him enough and am already planning the next tour! Thanks again, George! Pip

This is the second trip that I took with Skaris touring. And, I’m pretty sure it will not be the last. The first trip was in April of this year, when I was fortunate enough to take a scenic coastal drive with George around CapeTown on the Harley. I returned this December and hired Skaris again for a 6 day, 5 night customized tour of the garden route. George delivered. He is so detail oriented and passionate about his work. He loves what he does and that makes the experience so much more enriching for the guest. He is the consummate planner and was very knowledgeable about all of the areas we visited. He is an animal lover and well versed on so many different types of animals. He seemed to know as much, if not more than, the staff at some of the animal parks where we stopped en route. We went off roading and saw so many special incredibly scenic places - that I’m fairly certain many less experienced guides might have left off the itinerary because they were more challenging to get to. He was patient and friendly and a great conversationalist. As a solo traveler, so far from home, it was important to feel like I was safe and also that my preferences meant something. George did not rush me through any of the local shops I insisted on stopping in! This New York City customer who has traveled the world can say without hesitation that Skaris Touring deserves its Number 1 status and more (6 stars! ) on Trip Advisor!

Can we give 6 stars?! Always on time. Chauffeured in a clean Jeep. Perfect picture at every hot spot. Epic hotels booked for our stays around Cape Town and Wine Region. George was very attentive to all our travel needs. Highly recommended!

George is the best not only for moto and car tours in Cape Town ! He is an excelent tour operator, who can organize our trips (hotels, restaurants....) As I trust him, I asked his collaboration for my trip at Victoria Falls an he found a solution for my request ! Thank you George ! You are a wonderful person !
