- 1Upon arrival at Sport Helicopter's Helipad, receive a thorough safety briefing ensuring complete safety during your tour. You will then be assisted to the helicopter where the staff will ensure that everyone's seatbelts are correctly fastened and that everyone receives a headset. You will depart from the helipad and fly along the Atlantic coastline over the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, from there you will continue to fly towards Lion's Head and Table Mountain and over the Cape Town City Bowl back to the V&A Waterfront. Landmarks to look out for will be the Green Point Stadium, the Sea Point Promenade, the Green Point Lighthouse, Table Mountain, Signal Hill and Lion's head. When you return to the helipad out staff member will assist you off the helicopter and walk you to the safety of our office. After the tour you will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine as well as transport back to the V&A Waterfront Shopping centre.

The Huey is a stunning aircraft and will probably not be flying much longer so go fly in the Huey while you still can. What an experience! Wow wow wow! Highly recommend this as a top thing to do in Cape Town. It's worth every penny. We were fortunate enough to fly on one of the most spectacular days in Cape Town so we really got the best bang for our buck no doubt. Even our 2 year old son enjoyed the flight. Thanks to Mo & Riri for being so friendly and to our pilot for letting us experience this unforgettable memory we will all treasure forever!

Awesome experience! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The hopper flight went by very fast, but we got an excellent view of the city, the harbour, and the mountains. We really enjoyed our flight and would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing helicopter tour! Breathtaking views of the city, Waterfront and Lions Head. I would recommend this flight to everyone even if you stay in Cape Town or surrounds, the birds-eye view guarantees a great experience. Also a great option for a couples outing.

This 12-15 minutes helicopter tour above Cape Town was amazing! The views were breathtaking and the comments from the driver to the point. The entire team is nice, smiling and dynamic!!! Recommend it to anyone who likes to feel like a bird over a surprising city!!!! A must attraction in Cape Town!

We actually wanted to book for the next day and got a last-minute offer for immediately. The daylight was perfect and so we said yes. As it was the last sightseeing flight of the day, we got the helicopter for four people as well as three. There was no surcharge! We drove to the base in a golf cart, got on the scales, had a quick cigarette and then we were sitting in the helicopter. We were so excited that we didn't feel anything from the start and were simply overwhelmed by the spectacular view. Seeing Cape Town, the Waterfront, the stadium, Table Mountain, Lionshead, the twelve apostles and the beautiful beaches from above was just fantastic.
Everyone who is in Cape Town should do this tour at least once.

What a great experience, we took the 47min flight which was well worth the money.
Booking the trip was very easy and all contact I did was via WhatsApp Natalie was quick to respond and really helpful. We had the luck of flying with Nick. He is very laidback and was giving us a lot of information and useful tips about CapeTown. We would definitely recommend to book a trip with Sport Helicopters.

Do NOT book with this company, go for NAC helicopters instead! They cancelled our flight due to the wind but later we Learned it was because they didn’t want to fly the helicopter with only us 2. Then we had to wait an hour for “the guy with the refund machine”, which of course didn’t work. After multiple phone calls and endless promises they would transfer the money, with didn’t receive anything (it’s now 3 weeks ago). Again: DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

Great first time helicopter riding experience. We went to V&A waterfront and booked it directly with the operator agents who are all over the V&A waterfront. We were a family of 3 Adults and 2 Kids. We got a 6 seater helicopter all to ourself. It was a very thrilling and fun first time experience. The views were beautiful. We took the 12 minute ride. As we only wanted an experience 12 minutes were more then sufficient. Anything more would have been long and more expensive and not sure if we would have wanted to do for first time. We would recommend this company to anyone. One long time bucket list item check off.

Absolutely incredible experience! The helicopter ride around Cape Town was a great way to start my trip. The views were stunning, from Table Mountain to the waterfront. Ryan, the pilot was knowledgeable and made us feel completely safe. This is a must-do ride for anyone visiting Cape Town. Highly recommend!
