Great private tour in the wine region!
We had a fantastic private day tour with Morne in Stellenbosch and the wine region! My group of 18 enjoyed multiple wines, a wine and cheese pairing and gin tasting! Aside from the wonderful wines, the scenery was overwhelming! Thank you Morne and David for a great day touring. Highly recommend!

        Day tour!
Amazing day! It was like a mini safari as we saw animals roaming around the park. Our driver/tour guide Morne was very helpful, informative and entertaining. He ensured that we won’t be spending most of our time in queues and provided valuable tips. The schedule was followed however it would have been better if we were able to spend more time in the different locations!

        Worthwhile visit to Robben Island
A fascinating tour of the prison camp, guided by former inmates of the prison. Explanations of torture and living conditions did much to better understand the depressing conditions under which the political prisoners were detained. A well worthwhile trip. We enjoyed the boat crossing too, on a fairly calm and sunny day.

        Penguin Colony and Peninsula
Kembo the tour guide was simply brilliant. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, got us to the right spots at the right time. The tour itself was also amazing, in 5 hours we had covered penguins colony, cape of good hope, cape point with a hike up to the lighthouse and not to mention also stops for some breathtaking scenic views! Highly recommended

        A Fantastic Tour!
My group of 18 had an incredible day tour with our fantastic guide, Morne and driver, David! We saw so many beautiful sites in one day complete with Cape of Good Hope, the Penguins and Table Mountain! Morne was so informative and fun! So glad that I booked with Beyond Africa Safaris. We had an additional tour to Stellenbosch the following day and airport transfers. It was one stop shopping and very reliable! Thank you, Morne for a memorable trip! The booking process was extremely easy, and Amy, my booking contact, was very communicative. Great tours and a great experience for my entire group!

        Spectacular 3 Day Tour
3 Amazing days spent seeing the best of Cape Town. Our guide, Morne Hill, gave us a great introduction to all things Cape Town. We were able to see sites we wouldn’t have seen on our own. He shared a lot of information regarding the history of the sites we saw and of South Africa in general. He gave great recommendations of places to eat or additional sites to see on our own. We so appreciated the safety tips he gave us while we navigated our way through Cape Town. Thank you Morne Hill and the iPhone is still superior!!!

        Really bad communication
The guide was nice and could tell a lot but the pick up was an HOUR late and there was ZERO communication from their part. They only said: he will be with you shortly. They were supposed to pick me up at 8.10 and arrived at 9.15. I mean, no problem if it takes a little longer but COMMUNICATE it so people can actually do things instead of waiting at reception when they could do something else. You've been doing this for a while I guess, so I was so surprised by such bad communication. Also, per WhatsApp they simply didn't reply, they didn't pick up the phone, etc. That's horrible customer service. I do not often leave reviews, but this is one I felt I needed to write. It ruined everyone's start of the day and therefore the experience. Maybe give people a timeframe and call them when you're there? Easy. It really isn't that hard.

Memorable, but overpaid for the tickets
The ferry ride and the tour were very good and the island tour itself very memorable. A bit put off by the business, as it is actually just a booking of the ticket. Everyone who buys a ticket from any source receives the same ferry ride and tour of Robben Island. You can just order directly, save the money and have the same memorable tour.

Incredibly good value for money. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the number of stops we had coveted all the most amazing spot in cape town. Can't rate it highly enough. Thank you Reagan!

The most amazing tour of Capetown with Shafiek!
Shafiek was an excellent guide for our group. He was very knowledgeable about the history and sites around Capetown. As we drove from location to location he was able to give us more insight. He was able to explain the who, what, why, when and where. Of the 6 tours we took while in South Africa- my husband felt this was the best time spent during the trip. We could have easily extended this tour for another couple of days. We learned SO much and would recommend this guide and driver Deon again! Thank you Shafiek and Deon for being so amazing!

Don’t book this trip, it’s expensive and not very good at all, my driver was 45 mins late picking me up and there were only three more people on the mini bus. The way this trip was advertised it made you think the Table mountain tickets were included but once I’d booked it I was advised to buy my mountain ticket online, this costs me R360, first stop was the mountain and the driver told us the queue was about 2 hours so this would reduce the City tour, we joined the queue and sure enough it took us about 2 hours to get to the top, our driver had informed us that he would pick us up at 12 pm which meant we had about 40mins on top of the mountain, we all felt completely rushed, we then had a whirlwind tour of the City which was a total waste of time it turns out the driver had to go to another job after this one. My advise is, do buy your ticket online but either get an Uber or the hop on hop off bus.

We had a delightful day with our guide Sylvia. She ordered the trip during the day to avoid serious crowds and ensured any waits were very short. You don't get a lot of time at Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point but you get photo stops. Time with the penguins was sufficient. Lunch was at a sit-down restaurant which took away from time spent elsewhere and I would prefer less lunch time but the restaurant was good. Table Mountain cable car was excellent. Don't be discouraged by clouds as above the clouds is a warm, sunny day and Sylvia ensured that we didn't stand in any long lines to come down the mountain. Overall, the trip makes an easy business of getting to the highlights easily with a knowledgeable guide and a good driver. Don't hesitate to book.

Our fifth and final day in Cape Town and we chose a trip that would cover all the places in one day without either of us driving. From the pick up at the hotel to the return 10 hours later our guide Reuben could not be faulted . As advised we purchased the table top mountain cable car tickets on line and we were ready for the start. The entire day flowed seamlessly- the narration- the points of interest that we stopped at for photographs were the icing on the cake for the rest of the day.. the location chosen for lunch was perfect with lots of local food to select from. The penguin colony was amazing and one of the reasons we chose this tour. To see them gathered on the beach during the day time was stunning. How lucky we feel to have selected this trip. Exceptional value and a trip not to be missed

We decided to book a tour, independent from the cruise we were on. Our pickup time and place, were right on. Our driver, Armand, was exceptional. He explained everything to us. ( An aside to my review: while Armand explained everything, it was difficult to hear. The speakers were only in the front, and those of us in the back, could not hear. He turned the volume up, but it made no difference, with the sound of the vehicle.) He took the time to make sure he pointed out sights, and explained everything. Unfortunately, we had a shared tour, with 5 others. Armand told us, when we got onboard, about being on time, and it being scheduled to arriving at each location, to get to the next stop. The first stop, 4 of the group, arrived 10 minutes late, they sauntered to the van, did not comprehend what they had done to inconvenience the rest. It left a very bad taste in our mouths, but they didn't seem to care. The last stop, Table Mountain, the single traveler, went to the top to see the view. Once again, Armand, warned us to check the line to come back down, as it could get quite long, and we would hold up the others if we didn't allow enough time. The single traveler went up, and came back down, almost 30 minutes after everyone else! Had Armand not waited, and then had to move, we would have that person behind. We 4, thoroughly enjoyed him as a guide, and would recommend him and this tour again!

We were collected punctually from our hotel and the welcome from our guide Barnabas was warm and friendly. Because our group kept to the scheduled times at the various stops he was able to fit in attractions which were not included in the advertised tour.

It was an excellent itinerary and in the 10 hour tour we were able to visit all the amazing highlights which Capetown has to offer. The choice of restaurant for our lunch stop at Boulder Beach was excellent with fantastic fish dishes on offer.

The day was unrushed and Barnabas’ charismatic ad relaxed manner and knowledge of the various locations made for a perfect day exploring Capetown. We would most certainly recommend Beyond Africa Safaris to potential customers.

This tour was amazing! They came and picked us up at the Airbnb we were staying at. There were 4 others on the tour with us. I learned so much about Cape Town and was able to get some amazing pictures. I had the best seafood lunch!!! Felix was our tour guide, very informative and super friendly. He also spoke French, for the 2 French passengers. He went back and forth between English and French and it was beautiful listening to him interrupt in French. The other passengers were amazing too. We all ate lunch together. We talked about where we were all from and differences between our cultures . It was a lovely lunch and fabulous tour.
      Highly recommend!!

An excellent way to see Cape Town and Pennisula highlights. We were picked up at our accommodation by guide Sylvia and driver Zane both of whom are 2 of the friendliest people in the world! The group consisted of 11 people we headed to Table Mountain (book your tickets ahead of going). The weather was fantastic and we got some amazing views of the city from the top of table Mountain. We then went to Bo Kaap street for some photos and headed along the beach drive to head out of Cape Town. We stopped for some pictures with stunning views along Chapman's Peak before heading to Boulder Beach to see the penguins (ticket price not included). It was then lunch at a local restaurant in Simon's Town before heading back on the road to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point (ticket price not included and paid on entry). We saw some wildlife roaming too. It is a whole day trip but it went by in a flash as we covered so much! Great trip for families, couples or individual travellers. Sylvia and Zane were fantastic! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for an unforgettable tour of Cape Town, look no further than this one! Our tour guide Francis was amazing! He had a great sense of humor and made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. He also had a wealth of knowledge about Cape Town and its history. The sights on this tour were truly unforgettable. Table Mountain provided amazing panoramic views of Cape Town, while the penguins at Boulder Beach were absolutely adorable. The Cape of Good Hope was breathtakingly beautiful and the drive along Chapman's Peak was an adventure in itself. Francis made sure that we had plenty of time to explore and take pictures at each location.

Moreover, one of the best parts of this tour was the friendly and social atmosphere. The other members of the group were all like-minded travelers who were excited to explore Cape Town and share their experiences. We enjoyed chatting and getting to know each other during the tour, and even exchanged recommendations for other great places to visit in the city. Despite coming from different parts of the world, we all had a great time together thanks to Francis's warm and inclusive personality. The one downside was the restaurant for lunch was mediocre. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the food itself was disappointing and overpriced. Otherwise, this tour was the highlight of our trip to Cape Town and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best that the city has to offer.

Visited Cape point shortly after the gates opened in the morning. It was magical, only a few cars and cyclists. Due to load shedding we had to walk to the top but it turned out to be such a good thing. Normally we take the funicular to the top and after rush down but this time we could breath in the fresh air, take note of all the small animals and flora. We were the only visitors at the viewing points no need to wait our turn to take pictures. Although I have been at Cape point several times I can recommend that the early morning is the best time to have a full experience, it truly makes one feel that you are alone on this planet witnessing the undisturbed breathtaking beauty of nature.

Overall had a good outing with Tresor. He was knowledgeable and told us historical tidbits throughout the drive that kept things interesting and us engaged. We covered many different places and I was surprised the amount of distance traveled. However, I have to take a point off due to some confusion and miscommunication (not Tresor's fault though) in the beginning that resulted in the tour starting almost an hour late.

For those considering this tour, keep in mind that as the description states, park/entrance fees are not included. What the description doesn't state is that it's easier if you bring cash with you for those fees. You can purchase the ticket for Table Mountain with a credit card, but for the other places you will be stopping at, it's better to give the driver/guide cash to purchase the tickets as a group than multiple people giving him/her multiple credit cards to hand over to the park staff to swipe.
