Our day trip with Louis was brilliant, his narration throughout the journey was very informative and entertaining. He made sure we were all comfortable and happy with our activities which included wine tasting as well as looking out for whales in Hermanus itself. The views on the journey are stunning and add to the overall experience - a couple of stops were made to capture them properly. Even through the weather didn’t play ball and stopped the boats from heading out we spotted a number of whales - and a couple of seals - while walking along the coastline. There are plenty of eating places, bars and shopping options in Hermanus for all budgets so in between whale spotting you will be spoiled for choice! Definitely recommend taking this tour, you won’t be disappointed!

What a great day out. Went without having done any research on the vineries so it was pot luck. We started on the bus. Our first one was Allée Bleu where we had our wines and biltong platter. They were very knowledgeable Our next was Zorgvliet - beautiful setting but the food - ox croquets were still frozen inside - and our server didn’t know much about the wines and said he didn’t care about the food. Onto the tram next and we visited Plaisir. Here we paired with fudge. Again lovely wines and knowledgeable. We finished with an hour and a half at Boschendal where we paired with meat and cheese platter and spring rolls. Beautiful setting and wines. Timings all worked out and staff on the bus and tram were brilliant.

The service at franchook farm needs to improvement it was terrible infact you should name it a lunch spot not wine tasting both my friends did get snacks and the sitting arrangement was not organised well.

You can use your precious one day in Capetown with this tour, from early morning you can walk around the suburb and grab coffee there. At the winery, you’ll have apx 5 glasses per winery which means you’ll have 15 glasses in total so need to control your pacing. LOVE IT! Chris was beyond wonderful. Gave us back history of each & every town + wine field. Enjoyed the Wine-fields tour as well. Highly recommended if you are in Capetown. Value for every dime you pay. Viva!

The views on the drive alone were amazing! The driver and tour guide is super helpful and brilliant! The wines and vineyards were insane! Would definitely recommend.

Very knowledgeable guide, we learnt loads and not just about wines, views were amazing, wine tasting was so magestic on our honeymoon and the pairings were perfect. Would definitely recommend.

We had an awesome time, we especially loved Hout bay. It was enjoyable learning about Cape Town and being informed. The service on the bus was also great and I loved the views and the beaches!

Amazing scenery! However, the cruise could use an actual human tour guide to make the experience more engaging! However it still worked out well!

Stellenbosch and paarl wineries were great. Engaging tours and tasting sessions. Unfortunately, the Franschoek celler was underwhelming (its also the venue for lunch): the staff rushed the wine descriptions at the begining of the tasing, you are left taste on your own. When you get your food bill, the gratuity is automatically added (strange, they should at least ask !). It had a feeling of "eat your food and leave, we can't be bothered". Its a shame. All in all, the other two wineries by far make up for this and make the trip worthwhile !
