Great tour with great guide
Dec 2020
This trip was great. The landscape was spectacular , we could also see a lot of wild animals. YoYo, our guide did a fantastic job. He is very knowledgeable and made the trip far more interesting with his comments. He has a good sense of humour and made us feel safe. I will do another tour with him when I return to South Africa next year.

The Best Tour ever of the Cape of Good Hope in a small group with the best guide in Cape Town!!
Dec 2020 • Couples
Jean Marie from Kabura Travel is the best tour guide ever seen. He was on time for our pick up in a clean new minibus H1 Hyundai . We were in a small group and all protocols of COVID 19 protection were in place. He checked our temperature and recorded each person as we entered the bus. He was very knowledgeable on each site we visited. The Penguins was my highlight. No crowd at the Cape . He gave us enough room and time to explore . It was really a small group tour of the cape . Highly recommended. The price was affordable too.
Thank you Jean Marie

Most wonderful day trip!
We did this tour on our first day in Cape Town, and loved it! Armand was our guide, and was so incredibly knowledgeable, talking us through Cape Town’s history, relevant to the area that we were visiting at any one point. He also welcomed questions, and we learnt so much, in the most enjoyable way! The tour itself was well-timed, with enough time at each of the locations, without feeling rushed. We were in a small group which was lovely; myself and my husband, and two other couples, who we didn’t know, but Armand made us all comfortable. My favourite part was seeing the penguins!

Had a great time with my trip, got to see everything as advertised and no complaints here! My guides were very accommodating to all requests from our assorted group, and got us to every location with very informative explanations. Would recommend this trip for anyone looking to see the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, and to see the penguins at boulder beach!

Fantastic Tour
Mar 2020
What a great way to experience the sights and sounds of the Cape Peninsula. Our tour guide was excellent and went out of his way (literally) to ensure that our day included both the mainstream tourist attractions and the beauty of the more remote locations. I would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent day out
Really enjoyed this trip and would definitely recommend. Thought it might be too long at 8-9 hours but it went really quickly. Guide was very knowledgable and made the day a lot of fun. Was able to be within a few feet of the penguins at Boulder and had baby baboons chasing each other around our feet at the Cape of Good Hope. Absolutely stunning views especially at the Cape and Chapmans Peak.

Enjoyable day's tour down around the Cape Peninsular
Feb 2020
This tour is a good way to see lots of places in the Cape Peninsular, including the penguins at Boulders Beach. Lots of great views all day. It was a shame that the day we did the tour it was overcast, and even raining at the start. Our guide/driver, Anesu, tweaked the order of stops on the tour to avoid the rain, which was clever. Anesu was excellent - very friendly, very knowledgeable and gave lots of information all the time on places we were visiting and sights we were seeing, and the country in general.

For us, a few things weren't as good as they could have been. Firstly, we didn't see everything - we didn't see or stop at Bo-Kaap, which I was particularly looking forward to. It may well have been because Anesu was trying to get us to Boulders Beach before the rain, but a shame nevertheless.

In the van it was quite hard to hear Anesu, who was talking as he drove. We were in the back row which didn't help. It was worse when the air-conditioning was on. I would suggest installing a microphone for him to talk into, to make it louder and easier for the passengers to hear. Because he was giving us lots of really interesting and useful information which was often hard to hear.

Lastly, the lunch stop was very late. In late morning Anesu asked everyone how hungry they were, and at that time people weren't hungry. Based on that, he probably decided on the order of stops to make. But we didn't actually stop for lunch until 2.35pm, which we felt was too late. It would have been better if he'd advised the guests what the options were for seeing places and stopping for lunch. Having said that, the place we stopped for lunch, the Noordhoek Farm Village, was lovely!

But all in all, a well-organised and fun way to spend a day seeing lots of sights and visiting lots of places in the Cape Peninsula, and certainly a recommended tour if you're visiting Cape Town.

KaburaTravel
Dear Michael Thank you for your valued feedback received. We are glad that you enjoyed most parts of the tour with Anesu. We would like to apologize that you did not receive the full expected tour as we do fully understand that it is one of the important and most popular sights for tourists. We have also taken note of your suggestion for the microphones which we do have however Anesu informed us that it stopped working along the way which will now take necessary measures to ensure this does not happen on the next tours. Thank you for choosing Kabura Travel and Tours. We hope to see you again in the near future.
