My partner and I travelled from Canada and we thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of Cape Town with Beyond Africa Safaris and Tours! It was our first time in Cape Town and we only had three days to explore all the city and area has to offer (which is A LOT), so we wanted to make the most of our days there and decided to go with a private tour so we could pack in a lot of sites into one full day. This tour is an IDEAL way to accomplish that, since the tour company has a really great itinerary and you can spend as little or as much time at each stop as you would like, which isn't possible in group tours. Then if one spot doesn't interest you as much, you can request to move on to see the spots that matter more to you personally!! No waiting for anyone or worrying about what someone else wants! This truly maximizes your time. Our driver and guide Jean was perfect!! He was accommodating when we requested anything, very knowledgeable about all the sites in Cape Town and for all our other questions, friendly, professional, fun and a great driver!! We couldn't have asked for more and would highly recommend this tour!

I give this tour, and most importantly our tour guide Reagan, the highest review possible. Our private party of five experienced all the best Cape Town has to offer with Reagan sharing his humor, knowledge, and kindness. It was our second day in Cape Town and Reagan made us feel comfortable asking a ton of questions about the beautiful sites and city. We laughed and created lifetime memories. Don’t hesitate - book this tour and ask for Reagan. You won’t regret it.

Our driver Yo Yo took us on a wonderful tour. He was so knowledgable that the trip became customized quickly to the things we were most interested in. We hit a few historic spots in Capetown, then proceeded south toward the Cape of Good Hope with a stop at an ostrich farm for gifts for family and co-workers. Lots of photography stops, and we visited the cape itself. Then on to Simons Town for a seafood lunch (he knew a place), and then Boulders Beach to see penguins. He knew both history and science, and took us to all the cool places. This is a great way to see one of the most beautiful coasts in the world.

Favorite sites : Island of Seals, Boulders beach with penguins, Cape of good hope.
Our driver and guide David Kalala was extremily rich in detailed information on country's history and nature. He gave good advices on how to conduct the tour, flexible on the itinerary and safe in driving.

My wife and I had a wonderful private tour today with Ed all the way from Cape Town to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope with multiple other interesting and scenic stops along the way, including seeing penguins and a lovely restaurant for lunch. The scenery is incredible and not to be missed if in this part of the world. Ed enhanced the day by sharing lots of fascinating info and stories and we enjoyed the chat with him very much - the driving time passed quickly. It was quite a busy Sunday on a beautiful day with lots to see and quite a lot of traffic on the road but Ed did a great job of making sure we did all the great things without feeling rushed, seemingly always finding a great place to park against the odds! Highly recommend this trip and if you get Ed as a driver/guide you should have a great day!

We have recently returned home from a trip to South Africa. We booked a private tour down to Cape Point and Simonstown (amongst other places, Seal Island etc) and had Ray as our tour guide. He made the trip really special. Nothing was too much trouble, he was incredibly knowledgeable and such a nice person. He really made the effort with my 3 year old daughter who absolutely loved him and the trip was a hugely memorable one and Ray was a big part of that. Would highly recommend the trip and if you can have Ray as a guide definitely do.

Splendid tour! I highly recommend David Kalala who was a true gentleman. Kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. David made certain all our requests were fulfilled. A private tour was perfect. My husband and I were the only ones on this tour and were able to choose our itinerary based on the general outline of this tour. Cape Town is spectacular and David showed us all the beautiful sights.

Leon provided an exceptional day’s tour. He was so knowledgeable and informative that we felt we gained an in-depth knowledge of the history of SA. He also ensured that we visited all the locations we requested but tailored the trip to our specific requirements. We particularly enjoyed seeing the penguins and feeding an Ostrich! What a surprise! We had such an amazing time seeing all the "Must See" sites here in Cape Town. Alex was such an amazing guide and provided so much historical context of the places we were visiting. I highly recommend doing this tour, and more so during the week if you can to avoid crowds and traffic.

We spent two weeks in South Africa and this tour of Cape of Good Hope with Kabura Travel was one of our biggest highlights. Armand was our guide and he was very informative and an excellent driver. We enjoyed his company greatly. It was a magnificent trip with views of Camp's Bay and the Twelve Apostles. The day was perfect, except for a very chilly boat trip to Seal Island from Hout Bay Harbour, which was nobody's fault. Leaving the harbour in warm sunshine, we were promptly enveloped in a huge cloud! Lunch at Cape Point, followed by a quick ride to the lighthouse by funicular was a lot of fun and the views were stupendous. On the way, we visited Boulders Bay to see the penguins and to pretty Simon's Town where we went for a stroll. The drive along Chapman's Peak Drive - I have a horrendously bad head for heights - would have been terrifying but for Armand's careful driving. It was a wonderful day and I would highly recommend it while visiting Cape Town.

If you mean the hike up Cape Point (at edge of the Cape of Good Hope), that’s part of the normal tour. A trip up Table Mountain in Cape Town is not part of the CGH itinerary, butask the tour company when you book your reservation. Our driver adjusted our tour to visit a winery instead of seeing some seals, so these people seem flexible. Have fun
