We had a brilliant full day tour with our guide Jabu. He had a wealth of knowledge, he tracked some of the animals by their tracks and gave us the best experience of seeing more animals up close, and he definitely knows how to braai a steak :) We had a fantastic pasta salad at lunch too and when i messaged the office to say thanks and how brilliant it was and could I have the recipe for the salad they sent me the recipe a couple days later! Awesome tour! Well worth the experience!!

Helen was amazing at booking the right package for my family and myself, and our guide Terry was very knowledgeable on the area and the fauna and flora as well as super friendly. Lovely lunch was provided and overall experience was great. Would recommend when in the area.

We stayed at Heritage House for our honeymoon and it was the best decision we made. Bonita was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived. The rooms were always neat and tidy and the breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious every morning. Even our tour guides were so happy and friendly. We can't wait to go back. 10/10 for Bonita and her team Terene and Torello

What an absolutely amazing day out. Would highly recommend. We saw loads of game and what made it even better was our amazing guide, TK. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and an all-round legend. Big ups and thank you so much to the Heritage and TK.

The tour was amazing! We started the day of with rain but Terry was prepared for everything (ponchos / towels). Luckily the car already provides enough coverage so the ponchos were not necessary at all. Terry had great knowledge of all the animals and birds in the park. He spotted animals from far and we got to learn so many new things. He even spotted a chameleon crossing the road while driving. The tour itself takes you to the beautiful Cape Vidal where you have a nice lunch. We would definitely recommend!!

We had a great day out with the family. The guide, Terry, was great. The tour is very well organized and the vehicle very suitable. With Terry, we discovered and learned a lot and saw extraordinary animals, birds and insects, even if some of the larger ones were missing. Thank you

It all worked like clockwork! We rocked up to st Lucia , were provided with our accommodation which was really good. The hippos and sunset drive were great, but the big five drive with our fun and knowledgeable guide yam was superb. 🙏 Saw elephants giraffes zebra kudu rhino buffalo... Sadly missed a big cat, but the temperatures were too hot 🔥 maybe next time. Thanks to Bev and her team for the smooth operation of this really memorable few days Safari. Highly recommended

Phinde was an amazing tour/ game guide. Everything was top notch and well planned and would advise anyone to experience this nature experience.

Could not have asked for a better tour guide that Jabu. Not only was he funny, but also knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was lovely and the braai at lunch time was lekker. Despite the heat, we managed to see 3 of the Big 5 which we were really happy about. This is a beautiful park and we could not thank Jabu and Herotage Toyrs enough

Awesome drive at night. The weather was nice and cool. Was fortunate to have a close encounter with a leopard being chased by hyenas. All thanks to our most helpful and wonderful driver siyabonga who tried his utter best to get us closest to the leopard. Seen some zebras,hyenas,and hippos as well.

Highly recommend this tour, and especially Terry, our guide, who was so knowledgeable, engaging, and funny, I didn't want the tour to end (and mind , it's a full day tour beginning 8am!) I went with my mum and younger sister, visiting from Belgium, and we had already been to Kosi Bay and Hluhlwe. I write this review at the end of our week out here. I can safely say that for me, this was the best part of the time spent in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. Terry took incredible care of us all, from the details he shared about each animal we came across (including why to never turn a tortoise upside down) to how he made the drive feel comfortable and unrushed, and his overall attitude towards the biodiversity in the park and also the personnel and people around the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park. Seeing the wildlife, the Mission Rocks beach, and discovering the greatly addictive delicacy that are water berries - these are just some of the amazing memories from this tour. To top it, we were with a wonderful group in our tour, so this is also a great way to enjoy time with other visitors of the area. Like I said, I was sad when the tour came to an end as I felt I was only just starting to learn about the most incredible ecosystem I've come across, and this was thanks to a guide who deserves every star in this review. It's impossible to recommend Heritage Tours enough because they really think of every detail, down to making sure my itinerary of booked events did not clash with potential New Year's Eve or New Year Day noise or disruptions. Booked a half day family reunion safari for 10 of us. Yamkele was brilliant. He asked if we wanted to see any animals in specific and took us to see them. The list was endless of all the other beautiful animals we saw along the way. We had a yummy breakfast which was part of the package then lunchtime we received a special surprise from the ladies in the office which absolutely made our day. Can highly recommend the team.

We stayed at Heritage House & went on a few tours with them, & absolutely loved our experience! The accommodation was homey, clean, & comfortable, & all the staffs were very nice & friendly. They helped to coordinate all the tours for us, which made it very convenient. We enjoyed all the tours, but we all decided our favorite was the Night Safari, which was a nice surprise as we initially didn’t plan to do it, but added it to our itinerary based on Bonita’s recommendation - & we were so glad we did! It was an experience unlike any other game drives or night safaris we’ve ever had before (& we’ve had quite a few!). The tour guide (whose name sounded like Shakira) was absolutely fantastic both at spotting & driving - which meant a lot of off-roading. We saw everything from hyenas, grazing hippos, bush babies, to the tiniest new born chameleon. Seeing the animals at night also gave a completely different feeling. Highly recommend!

We recently hired heritage tours for two safaris in St. Lucia & Hluhlue from our cruise ship. From beginning to end the experience was exceptional. Every person from Heritage that we came in contact with was professional, helpful and genuinely seemed to want to make the most of our safari experience. They worked with me to customize an itinerary and made sure that we were picked up from the ship and returned on time. The pricing was far better than a shore excursion and on our full day safari, we were guaranteed window seats (no one would sit in the middle – I have a cumbersome camera and wanted to make sure I had space to move). While both guides were very good, the guide on our full-day safari was truly outstanding and made our experience! Arno was engaging, entertaining and incredibly informative. He took time to point out small things (birds/dung beetles/porcupine quills) in addition to pointing out when a group of giraffes was paying attention to Impala warning calls, spotting things in the distance that were only corroborated with binoculars, and sitting on the road while a herd of elephants walked past our vehicle at a distance of less than 1metre. It was a magnificent day and felt like a true adventure, not just a drive through a park. An adventure I would gladly recommend to anyone and everyone and a company I would also gladly recommend. If anyone is considering a self-drive option, I would highly recommend against it – we would not have seen a fraction of what we did if it hadn’t been for Arno’s incredible eyes and knowledge.
