What a great day we had in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve with TK, who’s an excellent guide. We wanted a guided tour before we embarked on our own self-drive safari. We booked an exclusive tour, which was well worth it, not only because you can decide how much time to spend at each sighting but also the guide network has the advantage of identifying the best sightings, which you can get to quickly. In addition to this tour, we also visited St Lucia for a boat trip to see hippos and crocodiles close up. Again, well worth doing.

We enjoyed our safaris with Heritage Tours & Safaris in St. Lucia. We had a full day Safari in Hluhluwe Game Reserve with guide Phindy, and a Half day safari in iSimangaliso Wetland Park with guide Heine, and a hippo cruise. The guides that are working with Heritages Tours & Safaris have so much knowledge and work with so much passion, it's really incredible. You feel the love they have for nature and wildlife. I would definitely book with them again!

Pros: Plentiful viewing opportunities Great group of other tourists Super friendly and knowledgeable guide, she shared background about the animals as well as the region and culture Food was delicious Cons: Majority of sightings, and some of the best, were in the cooler morning time. So for some, the half day may be better

A very enjoyable way to spend a few days. The safari was excellent and we saw four of the big five close up with the added bonus of some cheetahs.Linder was very friendly and helpful. The wetlands day was also great. Luke kept us entertained and informed. The night safari was a nice start with the hyenas being the highlight. Thank you to both guides. This is the second time we have done this tour and a real positive is that the vehicles are not filled so everyone has a chance to see what is around.

Great half day trip form St Lucia. We had just spent a few days in Kruger and we were afraid another game drive may be an overkill, but the scenery was completely different and just that would have justified the trip. The trees are a bit higher and being on a tour instead of with our own car meant we could see the animals a bit better. Plus our guide was able to spot things we would never have seen. Totally worth it!

On my time on this amazing trip, I got to go on the Bush and beach experience tour. It was one of the best tours, as we got to see cape Vidal and go snorkelling! Our tour guide, Luke, knew so much about the nature in the park and had a pure love for the ocean. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

First of all we would like to give Yam the ranger of Heritage tour a great compliment. He knew exactly where the animals were and otherwise they could be found via their group app. He had provided a delicious breakfast in the open air and a delicious Skottelbraai for lunch. In addition, his knowledge of animals and nature was very extensive. Interspersed with a wonderful sense of humor. Highly recommended, we saw all the animals, elephants, rhinos, giraffe, lions, zebras, kudus, pumbas, wild dogs and many other small animals. Highly recommended. This was a great tour with Lindo who was very knowledgeable of all the animals we came across. My wife and 2 kids will remember this amazing safari experience for sure ! We were up close with elephants, rhinos, giraffes, buffalos and saw a family of cheetahs and some very elusive lions in the bushes...Thank you again Lindo for making this tour so memorable for us. We hope to be back again hopefully soon.
