Ghost Mountain Inn is a gem.
Ghost Mountain Inn was a wonderful escape and perfect place to relax as a family. The hospitality was top notch and the food was exceptional. It was a great location to access multiple game parks and experience the peaceful rural communities.

5 stars for Ghost Mountain Inn
WOW! 5 stars all the way for Ghost Mountain Inn. We stayed here for 2 nights and the entire time the staff were amazing, attentive and made us feel spoilt and special. We did the boat cruise, Mkuze Game Drive and they set up a beautiful picnic lunch for us (all well worth it and i recommend) The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The restaurant had delicious food and the breakfast was a great buffet selection. Everyone greets you with a smile and you can just tell they love being there just as much as you do. You feel safe in the area , you are well taken care of and there is so much to do which is great!

      Lovely Old Style Country Hotel
Ghost Mountain Inn is situated on a beautiful large piece of land next to a beauty full lake. Wonder fun if you love birds. Our room was mountain facing. All the facilities you can wish for. We checked in early and had a wonderful champagne lunch in the company of our waiter Mathabi. All smile and fun. Dinner was also very good..We hope to be back again and stay longer, to experience all the game parks.

      An absolute gem in Zululand
I had a fantastic stay at the Ghost Mountain Inn. Everything was perfect, except that I only stayed 1 night. The staff were themselves: friendly, attentive and professional; while being totally relaxed. There are so many great things to do from here. I only had time to do a cultural tour and visit a local Zulu village. Totally authentic showing of Zulu culture and what life is like today. I'll be back with my family for at least 3 nights. Great outdoor activities for the whole family.

      Great Revies
During my stay, I was particularly impressed by the unique style of the Ukhamba bowls. The creativity and craftsmanship that went into these traditional Zulu beer vessels were truly remarkable, adding a special touch to my experience. I loved the intricate designs and the cultural significance they embody. The Ukhamba bowls are a testament to the artistic talent and cultural heritage that your establishment proudly showcases.

      a perfect place
it was breathtaking to sit at the deck and watch the sun rise. my bedroom was a perfect fit for a queen and i would like to experience the picnic with my partner. I was a bit scared walking to the bench on the deck but after all it was worth it. very relaxed with a beautiful view of the mountain, the water and the sun rise.

      Family vacation
I had indicated that we’re coming with a 5 year old. I didn’t feel as if he was adequately accommodated, nothing for him in the tea and coffee station, the restaurant also needs kiddies crockery and cutlery

The boat is of good quality and the guides are professional and make you feel safe. Complementary water is offered on board. The boat cost approximately R320.00 per person. It is advisable to bring a sun screen and a hat on hot days because the temperatures can reach 35 degrees at times. The cruise on the dam is enjoyable and one can be able to see a variety of bird species and wild animals. The dam itself is one of the biggest in south africa.
