Excellent service despite last minute lodge change. Kruger guide Edson was fantastic 5/5 Have had excellent experience with Danielle via email and whats app. Despite last minute change in lodge we have enjoyed Tshukudu lodge. Great service and sunrise sunset safari. Our guide Edson is amazing had a adventure packed Kruger day safari with a unique and unforgettable experience. Saw white lion mating. Dingo family. Leopard. Cheetah stalking. Elephant families with little ones. Zebras. Wilderbeast. Impala and so much more. Hipos and zebras. Lunch was in a great restaurant. Exceeded all our expectations.

      A day in Kruger! Wonderful!
Great day in Kruger National Park! We had a lovely day in the park, which started a bit slowly with the hot weather, but ended excellent with beautiful lion and leopard sightings! Very thankful to our guide Edson who took us on this trip! Very good guide with great knowledge, but also a great sense of humor. I was also very impressed by how helpful he was with other guides on their tours, turning around and catching up with them to give them tips about sightings. Very considerate! Thank you for this lovely day!

      Avoid!!
What a sham of a company. Indecent and money hungry. The first day our driver seemed disgruntled and went out of the way to be unhelpful. He never even introduced himself or asked our names. Before we took off, I made sure to tell him my knee was giving me issues. However, whenever we made a stop, he went out of his way to park as far away as he could to watch me struggle to get in and out of the vehicle and walk an unnecessary distance when he could have parked closer. I believe any courteous man, especially a guide, would've at least offered to help. He didn't speak to us until we had to sign papers before entering the park. While on the safari, water was supposed to be included, instead, the driver took a bottle out of the case for himself and not even once offered us any. I have not received such poor service on a tour and I've been to over 40 countries. Also just having met this man, we had done nothing to him, but this was how he decided to treat paying customers. I've completed other safaris in Africa, including the Serengeti and never received such offensive service from a company. I did not travel this far to South Africa, especially for my birthday to deal with a boorish and disgruntled driver. After mentioning our concerns to the company, the lady who coordinated the trip's first response was: "I am incredibly shocked and disappointed to hear the feedback from today and we do certainly value our guest experience above all! This is very unlike Jeffery and there are a few points that I have seriously addressed with him. I am sincerely disappointed that this was your first impression and certainly trust that we can redeem ourselves for the rest of your trip. I did give Jeffery your names and so I suppose as he knew them he did not ask - but again this is not who he is and certainly have never received this kind of feedback about him before". What a complete joke of a response! This is the feedback we have given and clearly how we were treated. I don't have the creativity or time to make this nonsense up, they have implied. Seems she cared more to defend the driver than accept our feedback. She also wanted us to take the same driver for the rest of our tour. Clearly showing they didn't care about our feedback. However, we refused, and they found us a new driver who was the opposite of the first. He was polite, cared about what my friend wanted to see, informative, and come to find out, was from a different company. Making me believe all their drivers are rude or the first driver is known to be disgruntled and gets the last minute customers, as we booked our tour a day or so before. The company then offered a bottle of wine as a "nice" gesture. However, it seemed disingenuous and not acceptable considering the driver ruined our day and experience. Additionally, the coordinator was told I was not feeling well and the lodge never gave us the bottle. After falling ill I was unable to participate in the final two safaris. I reached out to the coordinator for a refund for those days, and was told no, because everything was a package, and the company didn't offer refunds. I then asked for at least a refund for the entrance fees to Kruger and that became an issue as well. The coordinator then proceeded to go back and forth with me and say that she had done so much to accommodate us. I don't think people deserve sympathy or rewards for doing their jobs. Additionally, she kept mentioning how she accommodated us, by finding a new driver, something that would not have been an issue if the first one hadn't been inconsiderate. I then spoke to the manager who was also arrogant and unaware of what customer service is. I asked for a refund for the driver the first day as his attitude and demeanor was unacceptable. His response was that refund of any sort wasn't necessary as the driver provided a service. Again, clearly diminishing and invalidating our concerns, and defending a useless driver. Even after asking if it's ok to provide poor service, he said his driver still deserved to get paid! I did not ask him for any other reimbursement, outside of the refund for the driver and the entrance fees for the park that clearly were not used, as I did not participate in the other safaris. He declined to reimburse for the driver and said he would reach out to the other company to see if they would reimburse. Also, in the beginning of our conversation said if the other company said no, they would reimburse. That sentiment changed towards the end of the conversation. I guess after not backing down that the whole company has poor customer service and was unbelievable. As of today, I still have not heard back from this deceitful company. I guess the company isn't doing well as they choose to hold onto every dollar they receive at the expense of customers, even in the presence of poor service. I have never had to write a poor review for a tour company, but for this company, it is more than deserved. Please find another company!!

What an amazing time with Shinzelle Safari's
What an unforgettable experience on our safari with Shinzelle! Everything was perfect and we will be forever grateful to Danielle for stepping in and rearranging everything at very short notice at our request! Our guide - Jason's encyclopaedic knowledge of the sights and sounds of Kruger was very interesting and entertaining. The accommodation was fabulous and our time on safari will stay with us forever.

      An amazing experience!
Due to COVID we had been waiting 3 years to do this Safari and it didn't disappoint! Many thanks to Danielle, our guides and hosts who looked after us and ensured that we had an amazing experience. We had 2 safaris in the Pridelands conservancy and spent 2 full days in Kruger where we got incredibly close to the big 5 animals. We also had very rare and special encounters with wild dogs and cheetahs! Seeing wild dog pups and hyena cubs was like something from David Attenborough. We also did a 1 day tour of the Blyde River Canyon which showed us beautiful areas and taught us a lot about the local culture. African Rock Lodge where we stayed was extremely comfortable, with excellent food, staff and very friendly hosts. It also had lots of interesting wildlife wandering close by as it is inside the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. All in all, an unforgettable trip!

      Safari Kruger Park
Sensational experience with Shinzelle Safaris! We enjoyed every minute in the park, seeing the Big Five! Everything was perfectly coordinated. We spent five days in the park, which was enough to see all the animals you could hope for if you're lucky. The attention and coordination with our ranger were flawless. Whenever we needed something, they went out of their way to assist us. An amazing week!

      Amazing experience!
We had an amazing 5 days Kruger Safari with Shinzelle and especially with our ranger / guide Jeffrey. We could see not just the big 5 but ….. the 7 magnificents! Our guide made it so especial. He knew absolutely everything about animals’ behavior…. and with a great sense of humor. Always on time and always ready to go a bit further seeking for the animals. If we ever go back to Kruger we’ll repeat with Shinzelle and Jeffrey.

      Best Trip ever
Best Holiday Ever!!! Everything about this holiday was brilliant, wonderful location & accommodation. The communication was excellent & the way the whole trip was organised was fantastic from start to finish. I do not want to do any other type of holiday ever again! The Manor house was wonderful, every person there made our trip what it was, our guides, both from Shinzelle & at the Manor House were great & knowledgeable. Food was delicious, the watering hole opposite the pool was fabulous too. Beautiful place, wonderful people, best trip of my life, cannot wait to come back & I will!

      Fabulous safari, great service
We enjoyed an outstanding and truly memorable safari with Shinzelle in March 2023. It was five days and four nights split between two lodges in different private game reserves in the Hoedspruit/Balule area. We toured the Blyde River Canyon area one day and another a full-day safari in the Kruger National Park. Otherwise it was early morning and evening safari drives in the reserves, including the evening of our arrival and the morning of our departure. The lodges were beautifully set in wild areas, but yet comfortable, with great service, and great food. Each had its own distinctive character, the first we especially loved the shaded dining area with "infinity" pool on an elevation with a view-to-die-for of the Drakensberg mountains and the sunsets. We found this lodge hard to leave. The second, we loved the separate, private, comfortable, round-cottage-type rooms with airy, high thatched-roof ceilings. Throughout, we enjoyed fabulous game drives, with different types of experiences in the different reserves and Kruger NP. Our first drive, in the light of the early evening, and then into the dark, we spent much of the time following a pride of lions on the move and looking to hunt. In another we found ourselves surrounded by 40 or more elephants for an extended period, with many young, and many large females, all happily feeding. I think the highlight was the all-day Kruger tour, simply for the abundance of wildlife, large herds of zebra, giraffes, buffalo, elephants, impala, and too many others to be listed. (It was March, there had been good rains and things were very green with abundant grass, very beautiful.) Also, birds. The only predators we saw at Kruger were a pack of wild dogs that were resting and relaxing beside the road, and that we sat and watched just a few feet from us for quite a while. But we had already had multiple intimate encounters with lions, so no problem there. Logistically, things were well organized and smooth. Shinzelle had a guide (Johnny, who we loved) assigned to take care of us for other than the safari drives in the private reserves. So he guided our Blyde and Kruger tours. A nice thing about visiting in March (other than the nice weather and the bountiful grass and flowers) was that the lodges were not very busy so we had very small groups on the drives, and it was just us for Blyde and Kruger, so we had a good chance to get to know our guide. We took the transfer van from OR Tambo to Hoedspruit and back. This was efficient and worked out fine. My thought is that the journey is quite long and in some places the road is not great. If cost is not important you might consider flying.

Not booked in to the camp quoted and paid for.
We had a great time, but that was down to our driver and guide VJ who was sub-contracted by Shinzelle. I found Danielle to be responsive on communication but after getting and paying for a 5 day trip at Satara, our guide informed us that we were not booked to stay there at all. There had been no mention of moving camps prior to this though an email had mentioned "showing us" both the centre and southern areas of Kruger. We ended up at Letaba and Olifants. The accomdation (rondel) at Letaba was clean and all facilities were provided but I can't say I found the viewing great. Enjoyed the dinners in the evening. The viewing was better around Olifants, but the accomodation was awful and I would not recommend anyone stay in this dump. Door locks broken, toilets and showers stank, no power to fridge at all, no cutlery or crockery for use. For the last two days of our trip VJ drove us down near Satara (where we had originally been told we were staying). There was more game in general and actual herds of animals (zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, etc). On the last day and a half (near Satara) we saw leopards, cheetahs, lions and wild dogs of which there was not a hint of at the other camps. We had a great Safari(thanks to VJ) and would go back to Kruger but would be unlikely to book with Shinzelle, due to being moved from Satara to areas with less game and accomodation that is not fit for use.

      Made my dreams come true!
We booked the four day Kruger and Private Reserve Tour with Danny, staying at Khaya Ndlovu Manor House. First of all, the accommodation and food was first class. The manor is beautifully decorated, with a deck area and infinity pool overlooking a water hole, where you can watch zebras and other wildlife come down to drink. The game drives were out of this world! Johnny our guide for Kruger was so knowledgeable and could spot all types of wildlife. We were extremely lucky and saw everything we could, and the trackers and guides at Khaya Ndlovu also went above and beyond to track cheetahs and lioness. Everything was perfectly organised by Danny, so we just had to sit back and soak up the whole experience.

      Awesome Kruger Safari!
Amazing trip on safari with Shinzelle! It’s a great company, super easy to work with. I booked my trip very late in the day but they managed to accommodate all of my wishes. Our guide, Nick, was awesome and gave us a great experience. We spent 5 days in the park and saw so many incredible animals (including all the big 5). Only miss was the cheetah but we will save them for next time! 4 days would also be a good amount of time for this trip but I wouldn’t recommend less than that. Highly recommend booking a safari in Kruger with Shinzelle.

Mind blowing Safaris with awesome driver/guide.
The most amazing holiday ever. Had the best driver/guide Derick on safari which meant we smashed the big 5 on first full day safari. Derick was very knowledgeable of KNP. Danielle was available anytime we needed and made everything run smoothly. Our LittlePilgrims Hotel was a great choice, lovely food and atmosphere.

      Great safari with Shinzelle !
My friend and I visited South Africa for the 1st time this July. We booked the 5 Days Private Kruger Safari & Luxury Lodge Experience with Shinzelle and we are glad we did ! We spent 2 nights in a lodge inside the Sabi Sand private game reserve and then 2 nights inside the Kruger National Park with a private guide. Everything was really well organized, we didn’t need to worry about anything. The only thing we had to do was enjoy the parks, the landscape and the animals ;) As soon as we landed in Nelspruit, we were taking care of. Nick was waiting for us at the airport to drive us to Sabi Sand. He then came back to pick us 2 days later and proceed with us to the Kruger part of our journey before driving us back to the airport at the end. Special thanks to Danielle for organizing this perfect trip for us ! She was always there to answer the many questions I had before the trip and I greatly appreciate her availability. We will definitely come back for more :) PS. If you can get Nick as a guide, go for it ! He was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very funny. For sure, one of the best guides we have had.

We had an amazing time with Shinzelle Safaris and saw so many animals each day of our safari, including 4/5 of the Big Five. Derrick was an amazing safari guide and was so knowledgable about all of the animals we saw. We had so much fun getting to know him and learning more about South African culture and wildlife. We also especially loved the amazing views of the Panoramic Tour and were glad we included that portion in our package.

Three of us were in Hazyview last week and did the four day trip with Shinzelle. Jayden was our driver for the safari and he was absolutely wonderful!! He is so knowledgeable and astute in his awareness of animals, birds and their behaviour. The lodge where we stayed was great, the food brought to our room each night was fabulous (kudos to the chef) and there were even monkeys swinging in the trees to make it more perfect. Can't recommend this safari enough!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and had the most incredible experience! The cottages at the Windmill Resort are adorable and spotlessly clean. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive and friendly.

Our safari guide, Jay, was super fun and knowledgeable! He managed to find great viewing spots and taught us a ton about the area and the animals themselves. We enjoyed his sense of humor, and we saw really incredible wildlife during our safaris with him.

The food was great, and overall utter was a magical experience. Best. Vacation. Ever.

My friend and I traveled to South Africa for the first time and had an excellent experience in the country. We had such a great time with Shinzelle Safaris! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this package to anyone. The safari was a must and driving along the panoramic route and experiencing other parts of the area was well worth it.

If you are looking for an affordable way to visit Kruger Park, this is your answer. Would highly recommend their services to anyone. Danielle was very friendly and was ready to answer any of our questions from booking to during our stay. If you do have the time for the panoramic day tour, please do not miss it as they take you to visit some amazing views of the area. Packed breakfast were very good and dinner was even better (with a lovely surprise of having 2 of them set in our terrace). Our package included airport transfers, bfast and dinner, and daily tours and thus we did not have to think of anything else whilst there - except keep a look out for the animals during the safari (also managed very good sighting of 4 of the BIG 5 thanks to our tour guide).

It was our first African safari, and am so very glad we selected Shinzelle amongst the many options that are out there. Communication was very prompt and easy from the get go, and they really took care of us. We drove from Jo'burg to the Windmill where we were greeted by the cheerful and friendly staff. Danielle and Brandon were amazing and gracious hosts, and our guide throughout, Kyro, was such a breath of fresh air. He made the long safari drives during the day (when most of the animals are hiding from the daytime heat) interesting with his humor, fantastic wit and vast and impressive knowledge of the African bush. Must give a shoutout to lovely Zami who was always there to welcome us with a warm smile.

We selected the 3 days of safari and one day of panoramic route tour, and that was a good decision as there was variety. Suggest this option, as it gives the opportunity to see other wonderful areas around this place which most tourists doesn't visit.

The Windmill was a very pleasant experience as well, because it was comfy & cozy.

If ever looking for a safari operator, I would recommend Shinzelle without a hesitation, and if we ever do a safari again, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else except to the wonderful folks at Shinzelle!

All the best, guys! Keep up the great work.

We had the most amazing experience on Shinzelle safari's, everything far exeeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at Windmill Country Retreat in nearby Hazyview, we were made to feel welcome. We were travelling with our 6 year old daughter and we were very comfortable and catered for at all times.

All the accommodation is great but we were treated to an upgrad to the family cottage which was very spacious with a huge veranda. The ground were in a beutiful natural setting with Monkeys and Mongoose playing on the back lawn it was a very relaxing place to stay. Each day we either had a great packed breakfast supplied or had a prepaid meal arranged inside the park. The dinner meals were a real treat each night there was a selection of modern South African dishes that were restaurant quality and homemade as well. If you have kids (and if you don't) please ask Dani if she is making her 'Papsagne', it will be a meal to remember.

The tours in Kruger were beyond amazing. We had two guides on our tours Yuri and Jay. What can I say about the passion and knowledge. If all of their guides are are good as these two gentlemen you can't go wrong. The very personal and special tours we recieved made the experience all the better. If you want to chase animal sighting by based on radio gossip - a Farrari safari (as Jay called them) this is not the tour for you.

However if you want to experience Kruger through the eyes of a knowledgable and experienced guide who will give you a feel for the environment as a whole then you will not be disapointed. This did not mean that we did not have amazing sightings. Over the two days we had many amazing animal encounters and viewings including; 2 white Rhino's, a leopard, Hyean cubs, Hippos, Elephants, Girrafe and lots more. The Panoramic Tour is also not be missed, the views are mindblowing.

After only a few days we felt like we had a second home. Even though this was a trip of a lifetime, we wanted to go back alost straight away.

I can't recommend Shinzelle safari's highly enough. This is definitly a world class product at a family orriented price.

We did the 4D3N Kruger and Panaromic Tour Experience. Due to our flight schedule, we had to change the itinerary of the trip and Danielle/Amy kindly accommodated our requests. We were given an upgrade to our room with private candle light dinner. What a great way to enjoy our honeymoon. Our guide, Jayden entertained us throughout and was very knowledgable about the safaris and behaviours of the animals. Caught the big five and many other animals up close. Guess the point in spending so much to go to a safari is because each trip will definitely be different. There is always the anticipation of possibility spotting an interesting sight, the disappointment and frustration when you missed something and the satisfaction when you see something out of the blue. The leopard and the lions were just meters away from us. The panaromic tour would have been better if not for the fog. We managed to see half of what was planned. On our last morning safari before departure, we were treated to a big surprise; a pack of wild dogs along S1 towards Phabeni gate. Totally enjoyed ourselves and it was an unforgettable experience for my wife and I.

We had the most extraordinary time with Shinzelle Safaris. Everything was very well-organized and ran extremely smoothly. The staff was beyond friendly and professional, and the food was DELICIOUS! For a first-timer coming to SA and doing a safari, they really take care of everything. The room/accomodation was great (comfortable, had everything we needed, clean). And of course - the safaris we went on were so much fun! Thanks so much to everyone, next time we come to Kruger we will be coming back to Shinzelle! :)

It is tough to put in words how amazing our experience with Shinzelle Safaris was. From the beginning planning stages, to the transport from Johannesburg to our lodge, our food, and then to the outstanding safari - everything was planned perfectly and was beyond our expectations! My husband and I instantly felt a connection with Dani and Brandon, and had many great chats and lots of laughs! They are such a fantastic couple, their passion for the African animals and the nature is outstanding and their zest for life is infectious!! :)
We did the 4 day safari with the panoramic tour and loved every minute. We love listening to Brandon explain everything, from the majestic animals to the trees, plants etc. He is a wealth of knowledge and a great story teller!
If you are looking for a Safari in Kruger - you have found it!!
My only regret is that we didn't stay for a month! :)
    We LOVED it!!
