          Great Service
Great transfer service to Lion’s Park in South Africa. The driver was punctual, friendly, and the vehicle was comfortable. The visit to Lion’s Park was amazing—getting up close to the animals was a memorable experience. Highly recommend both the transfer service and the park!

Our guide Bobo was fantastic. Kind, well spoken and friendly. Provided good explanations of historical events linked to sites visited giving us a better understanding of Apartheid (origins, context, aftermath). Our visit to S.A. would not have been complete without this.

What can you expect from a half-day tour
I believed it was going to be close to impossible to catch the feeling of what Soweto is all about on a short half-day tour, and I was proved to be wrong. Meeting real people and hearing real stories connected with well-known historical facts really fascinated me !

One of the best tourist guides
I’ve had some less-than-great experiences with tour guides in the past, so I always make sure to check reviews before booking. For my trip to Johannesburg, I chose Philippians 4 Four Tour Guide based on the glowing recommendations—and I’m so glad I did! Just as others had mentioned, this tour service is truly top-notch. My flight schedule changed multiple times, but Solly was incredibly patient and adjusted my itinerary seamlessly. The tour guide was punctual, accommodating, and an all-around wonderful guide. Highly recommend!

Another great tour by this company. They were able to accommodate my need to get to the airport by early afternoon. My driver was excellent with his local knowledge, and the guide at the museum was fabulous. Such a fun, educational experience.

Review of Lesedi Cultural Village Tour with Philippians 4 Four Tours

We had an unforgettable experience on the Lesedi Cultural Village tour organized by Philippians 4 Four Tours. The coordination by P44 was seamless, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Our tour guide, Nattie, was exceptionally knowledgeable and explained every aspect of the cultural experience with clarity and enthusiasm, adding great depth to the journey.

The tour itself was absolutely excellent. The dancers brought an extraordinary energy that felt out of this world, and the songs were performed with such beautiful harmony—it was truly captivating.

The drum training session was a highlight, offering a fun and engaging hands-on experience, while the Boma dance was simply exceptional, full of life and rhythm.

Our Lesedi guide, Loas, was friendly, vibrant, and added a personal touch to the experience, making everyone feel welcomed and immersed in the culture.

Overall, this was a remarkable tour, and I highly recommend Philippians 4 Four Tours for anyone looking to explore and experience the richness of South African culture.

Did a fantastic full day to Lesidi and Lion Park. Had Bobo as guide and the day went swimmingly well. The experience at both parks were similarly great. Bobo is a fantastic guide. Informative and engaged. I was fortunate to be the solo person overall in essence turning a small group tour into a private one. I am beyond pleased with how this day turned out. Would not hesitate to use this company in the future.

What a great way to learn about a number of the tribes in South Africa. We were created with singing and dancing and then brought in to learn how to play a drum. We then were brought around the camp to learn about the different tribes followed by a dancing and music performance. Everyone was great and my whole family enjoyed it. Our driver picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel. He was from Philippians 4 Tour and his name was Bobo. He answered all of our questions, arrived on time for pickup and was terrific. Highly recommend.

Our family visited the center and did the tour. For this review I'll focus on the food experience. The food was delicious! The restaurant décor was cleverly done. The food tasted like home - nourishing, flavorful and truly South African. I am so proud of how our cuisine is celebrated!

This tour to The Lesedi Cultural Village is a must see & must do! The experience is unmatched & demonstrates the history, culture & pride of South Africa! Our guide, BoBo, was energetic, fun, knowledgeable & accommodating. He was punctual & picked up our group of 9 people from our hotel. On our drive in we saw giraffes & on the drive back, zebras! They were just breathtaking. He shared with us the history of Johannesburg & answered our questions. We arrived to the Lesedi Cultural Village & we were immediately immersed in this cultural world. The singing, dancing, drumming lessons & the histories of each tribe was amazing. I would absolutely recommend Lesedi Cultural Village & Philippians 4 Four. We did this tour last year, we did it this year & we would do it again! Thank you Solly & BoBo for this phenomenal experience!

We had a lay day in Johannesburg prior to leaving on a Nat Geo tour. This was a great experience. We were told prior to covid this property was booked well in advance. The property had just reopened when we visited and there were just 4 of us at the property that day. The staff put on a show as if there were 400 visitors. As we traveled S Africa we found the information presented at this cultural center was extremely accurate. The dance portion of the visit was incredible. The food was excellent.

We had a long layover in Johannesburg before flying back home, so we were looking for something to do for part of the day. Clement from Phillipians 4 picked us up from the airport when our first flight arrived there. We had time to kill so he found a fun spot (Lion and Safari Park) for us to have lunch and hang out with the giraffe. Then, he took us right down the road to Lesedi.

I was a little concerned this tour/experience would be a little "hokey," but it was actually just perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We knew pretty much nothing about South African tribes and left having learned quite a bit. It was interactive in a really fun way and the kids really enjoyed that aspect of it. We also got to tour the "villages." The staff people leading the experience were really good and seemed to really get into it. It was a great way to learn more information about South Africa before coming back home!
