Very nice and comprehensive cultural experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting South Africa. The guide was entertaining :)

The guide for this tour was excellent and I am sorry I don't remember his name. He provided excellent background information on all of the places we visited. I give this group a five star rating.

Wilson was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the knowledge he shared. We started at 9 which is highly recommended because bus loads of kids start arriving at 9:45. The site is well laid out and very informative. Wilson repeated facts for us that helped reinforced the relationships and time frame. The boat ride was a bit hokey, but I’m sure kids enjoyed it based on the screams we heard. The interactive section was also well done. I highly recommend the museum but couples should do it when kids haven’t overtaken it.

We booked our tour with Philippians 4 four and our guide Tempo was excellent. He picked us up at our hotel right on time and shared with us a lot of South African history as we drove to the Apartheid museum. The Apartheid Museum was amazing and our knowledge base regarding Apartheid increased by 150%. It is a must see. Then on to Soweta, the area where Blacks were pushed to live during Apartheid, We learned about the Soweto Uprising, toured the Nelson Mandela house, learned about Hector Pietersen and how his death impacted continued violence and visited his well-planned memorial. We visited Vilakazi Street where two Nobel Prize winners, Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, lived. We stopped for a buffet lunch of South African food. This tour is a must see.

Excellent introduction to the history and life of South Africa. It’s was great to visit Soweto and Mandela House. The commentary about the history of the country and the memorials was particularly moving. The Apartheid Museum was very well done. Powerful and interesting in equal measure - even for my 18 year old. A great half day, punctual, comfortable and great guide.

Great way to spend half a day, a must see apartheid museum to get the history highlights and then immersive yourself in the Soweto with all its hardships and vibrant street where Mandela and Tutu lived. All with good guide and comfortable car

Wonderful tour. Nahti our guide was knowledgeable and adjusted to the level of interest of the group. Felt safe and well taken care the entire time. A very impressive travel back and important to remember the South African history. The tour was planned for half a day and turned out to be 5.5 hours. Plan a bit more time if you select the morning tour.

My experience was life changing. My guide, Bobo, provided extensive historical and cultural information along with personal insight, while showing kindness and support for me as an elder woman traveling alone.

Great tour and excellent guide. Bobo was knowledgeable and passionate and made the tour very enjoyable and special. It was definitely an eye opening tour of the country's history and is definitely a must do.

The driver was prompt, helpful, and kind. The museum was very interesting and well worth the time. I liked the combo of having an on-site guide at the start of the visit, and then time to study the exhibits on my own.

This was a really shocking exposure to the horrors black Africans have had to endure. I felt ashamed to be white and often wanted to cry. A very necessary experience so we never repeat the same atrocities! Our guide was wonderful, flawless English and so very knowledgeable. The tour operator, Solly went beyond helpful to ensure I got back to my hotel in time for my airport pick-up. A huge thank you!!

A fabulous day! A pleasant drive out of Johannesburg with a driver, Bobo, who could tell me lots about the villages and mines we passed. At Pilanesberg, it was into an open truck, with 2 others and the animal sightings began almost immediately. A male and female lion beside the road were a thrill as were elephants crossing the road only 2 or 3 meters away and a rhino pooping right beside out truck were amazing. The lunch stop was great, right beside a waterhole with lots of 4 legged visitors and the food was delicious. A wonderful day!

Absolutely fantastic tour! Great communication pre tour, our guide was amazing, so informative! Picked up 8.30am, dropped off 2pm, great value for money, great vehicle, lots of information, Soweto was fascinating and vibrant! The star of the show was the Apartheid Museum, we thought 2 hours may be too much, but we could have spent a day there. The most humbling experience, absolutely a must do, if you visit SA! Tabel, our guide was outstanding, 5 stars! Thank you for providing this experience, it was very special to understand SA history - so much hope ✊️🇿🇦❤️
