A delightful day spent on safari
An excellent day spent on safari. Polite driver and an engaging tour guide. Petros made the safari enjoyable and we were delighted to see a good range of animals close up. He took time to not also speak about the animals, but also about the plants and trees. Information and communication prior to the safari was very good also.

          A great trip to Petoria
I was so happy to be with a female guide. She was superb and took me around places. She was well versed with the History and told me complete details. Highly recommended.

          Tailored experience. Very adaptable guide.
Guide very kindly adapted the tour for me as I had already been to Constitution Hill. We went to Museum Africa instead which was very interesting. The rest of the tour was conducted as advertised and we took in other parts of the city. Very pleased about the guides willingness to tailor the tour to my needs.

          A Diamond of a Tour
We found this through Google and can say it was great. We were collected by Tahbong who was informative throughout the day. We visited the Diamond Mines at Cullinan first which was fascinating. Moving then to The Voortrekker monument which celebrated the trek from Cape Down to Pretoria of the Dutch trying to escape English ruling. The monument was something to behold and Tahbong our guide told us of the blood river war with the native Zulu tribe. We had quick bite to eat at the lovely cafe there before heading into Pretoria. Next stop was Paul Kruger house museum followed by going to the Union Building Gardens where we saw the giant Nelson Mandela statue. Our guide has tended to our needs and wishes all day and been thoroughly knowledgeable. He has pointed buildings and landmarks out and has been a fountain of not just facts but stories. Would highly recommend

          Pilanesberg Safari Game Drive
The trip was nicely arranged and the team has proved to be very professional. The provided the services as committed. However the safari vehicle driver put utmost efforts to make us see all big 5,we couldn't see Lion and Leapords.

          Amazing tour through Soweto
It was a wonderful and insightful experience. Our guide, Byron, did an amazing job to show us his hometown. We had several stops on our tour to get an excellent impression about the culture and history of Soweto.

          Good but could be better
Would’ve liked a deeper tour than just being walked to a shop to buy a beer. We did get to try cow head with the locals though, which was good.

Many animals and a great guide
A Great safari with many sightings, even a snake on the road. Beards of elephants and many other animals, often near the road. We had a knowledgeable and funny guide/driver, always on the lookout for sightings.

          A wholesome experience!
It was a beautiful experience. Everything ran smoothly from the morning pick up to the evening drop off. The drivers were very friendly and accommodating. The landscape is absolutely gorgeous and the rangers are very well informed, we got to see 3 of the big 5 animals up close on the safari and learn more about the animals. It was absolutely lovely! Thank you.

It was a great experience to see so much of Johannesburg and the history of South Africa. Khutso was a great tourguide. He explained a lot of interesting things and made us feel save all of the time, even in the more dangerous areas of the city. I will recommend this tour to my friends for sure!

We had the pleasure of a 5-star full day tour with Itu to Cradle of Humankind and Soweto with my family of 4 including a 9 year old and 13 year old. Itu was absolutely amazing; he is knowledgeable, speaks clearly, and truly paints a picture of South Africa. Being from Soweto, he was able to give us insight that we could not possibly have gotten from any random tour guide. We got so much more of an experience than we anticipated in Soweto; it was amazing for my kids to walk the poorer neighborhoods, visit a daycare, and see all the historical landmarks of Soweto through the insights of a local Soweto resident. Thank you Itu for an impactful and amazing experience; we will be back specifically for you. ITU IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We did the full day tour on 23/12/22 and found our tour guide Khutso to be both incredibly informative and funny. He talked enthusiastically about the places we visited and gave us a real insight into life in Jo’burg.
The tour around Constitution Hill, both the former prison and new court house was fascinating as was the Apartheid Museum. Both telling the story of South Africa’s past and looking to the future.
We had a lovely guide on the short walking tour of Soweto which was a real eye opener with Soweto not being entirely what we expected.
All in all a great tour with a fabulous guide. Thank you.

We only had an overnight after our Safari in Kruger. So, we asked our travel agent to book a driver to take us to the Apartheid Museum before our flight home. When our driver Thabang arrived at our hotel he asked if we wanted to see more of the city than just the museum and we readily agreed. Over the next 6 hours he showed us all of Johannesburg, including the mansions in Houghton, a tour of the Constitutional Court, downtown Johannesburg, the World Cup football/soccer stadium, a tour of SOWETO including a walk through a neighborhood, and the Apartheid Museum. To say we were blown away, would be and understatement. This tour ranked as one of our best experiences in South Africa and was so much more than we were expecting. Thank you Thabang for an excellent day!

Itu, from MoAfrica took us all on an enlightening experience of culture, history and hope. Itu was a guide with a heart and explained that he would give us a lot of information, but he wanted us to really be able to feel the stories. We were picked up in a clean and comfortable van and he took past some landmarks on the way, Including Nelson Mandela’s last home. We visited the age tor Pietersen Museum and came away with a renewed sense of anger and sadness around what happened. He took us in a walk through one of Soweto’s dirt streets where we met a family who showed us their home and spoke about what their day looks like. We bought lollies for all the local children and watched them play soccer on a dirt patch. We had lunch on Vilakazi St, went into Mandela’s Soweto home and ended up at a craft market. It was an informative, sobering and enjoyable all in one. Well worth the visit.

Our guide, Cpho, picked us up from our hotel and from there we had the most amazing day. All the way through the tour he provided us with great detail and insight into Johannesburg and the sites we were visiting. The day was jam packed and took in some really interesting points of interest. The tour took us through some areas of Johannesburg that I would not have been able to see safely on my own, but felt comfortable in our bus and with our guide. The visit to Soweto was amazing with a real sense of community that you could feel on the visit. The museum visits were so interesting and insightful though I could have spent the entire day at the apartheid museum. Highly recommend this tour.

I've joined so many tours, but this Johannesburg day tour is the most emotionally moving of them all. From the prison cells on Constitution Hill to the photographs and videos of the Apartheid Museum to the symbolisms of the Hector Pieterson Memorial, I got to understand why apartheid caused so much pain to the South African people. This is a tour that is educational and enlightening. Kudos to the tour guide, Tsholo, who was able to weave such a strong narrative of the historical events. The way he tells it makes you feel that even though apartheid ended in the 1990s, its effects and scars linger. It also helps that he's such a nice guy, driving safely and always ready to take photos. I would gladly do this tour with him again.

We were sent this link to review, but the tour we actually took was 1/2 day to Pretoria. We had a wonderful day and experience with an exceptional guide ,Khutso. The tour was educational and informative-just what we were hoping for, but Khutso was the star of the show! He was lively animated and interactive while furthering our knowledge of the area and the history and trials of its peoples. Thanks again Khutso!!

The Ultimate Johannesburg Tour I took on 11.23.23 was so amazing, and truly insightful! Our tour guide Thabang was the absolute best! He showed us so much about Johannesburg, and Soweto. He is knowledgeable and well versed with the history and current events of the country of South Africa. The locals treated him with honor and respect and he had all 9 of us fully engaged in conversation. There's nothing like having an experienced tour guide who can relate with the community and also with all of us who represented diverse countries. Hope to book with MoAfrika again very soon for my Kruger National Park Tour!
