Amazing half day tour with Allan!
Our half day tour with our guide Allan was truely amazing! Allan had great knowledge about the park and all the animals. He picked us up at our apartment at 08:20 am (really punctually) with his nice Safari vehicle. Already within the first half hour of our tour, we saw kudos, zebras, elefants and 4 lions. While the guides in the other cars did not spot the lions, Allan recognized them in the bush at first sight. During the entire tour, Allan provided us interesting information about the animals and knew the right spots to go to. When we told him the need to search for a restroom, he immediately brought us to the bathroom area within the park. At 11:30 we had a nice picnic with freshly baked bread in the picnic area. We spent some time at the water holes where elephants passed approx 50cm in front of our car and we took many nice pictures. We left the park at 13:15 and had a wonderful stay! Allan even organized with the park crew that we could reuse our ticket to re-enter the park with our own vehicle in the afternoon. We would definitely book this trip once again and highly recommend it! Greetings to Allan, thanks again for this nice experience!

Excellent up close encounters with elephants, as well as multiple sightings of other animals at the numerous waterholes.
It was amazing to see so many elephants congregated at the waterholes, as well as small groups travelling along the road/track. To experience an elephant gaze into your soul from only a metre away was unforgettable. So many other animal encounters on the day - monkeys, baboons, tortoises, wide array of antelope, zebras and bird life. Lots of Pumba the warthog! No lions today, but three additional lions were to be released the next day. An unforgettable day, I fully recommend this tour with a very informative tour guide.

Amazing experience with our guide Stephen
We had an amazing experience with our guide Stephen. The full day was arranged for us, and we only had to look out for the most amazing animals. Stephen drove us to the best places, which ensured us to see have the best views. We even saw two lions very close to the car! The braai also was amazing, it was very varied and more than enough. Thanks again Stephen for this wonderful day!

        An Excellent Tour
We booked a private full day tour of Addo Elephant Park. Mustaph our driver and guide picked us up from the cruise ship dock. His knowledge of the animals and his ability to find them was outstanding. We stopped for lunch at a wonderful restaurant right in the middle of the park. The Kudu stew was amazing! It was definitely worth paying the extra for the private tour, as there appeared to be lots of people on the larger trucks that we saw. We booked direct with Addo as the cruise ship options were much more expensive.

        Fantastic experience
What an amazing experience. We had already done a safari in Pilanesberg which was excellent so were a bit worried it would just be the same but it was very different. So cool to see large groups at the watering holes and we even saw a buffalo, elephants and a hyena all interacting together. Eddie was a great guide and we loved our braai where we got to mix with other groups, they even catered for our coeliac member of the group!

Elephants galore! Excellent tour guide! And good times!
The trip was amazing! Our tour guide Stephan was spectacular, had a wealth of knowledge and was very accommodating. We must have seen about 150 elephants or more! The picnic was fantastic thanks to Stephan. A very nice treat indeed. Finally I would recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a 5 hour safari trip if you are in and around the Eastern Cape area.

Great sightings, experienced guide and delicious Braai!
We travelled as a family. Although we did not see many animals because of the day's wheather, it was an amazing tour. The sightings were beautiful and we were privilleged to see a baby and mama elephant close by our car, as well as a group of zebras. Our guide (Steven) was very comunicative, knowleagable of the wildlife and kind. The braai was very delicious and well served! We were very pleased! It is a very special tour! We recompend it highly!

Expensive for such useless seat in the car
I had a middle seat in the safari car, squeezed between two other people and basically had no access to any window to take good shots. Feel unnecessary to fly 14.000 km and pay sufficient sum for safari for this. Very upset. The guide was ok, the braii was good.

        Great Safari
We had a really good experience with Addo Game Drives. We got picked up from our accommodation although it was a bit out of Port Elizabeth. From that point our safari adventure got better and better. Our guide was very friendly and had a lot to tell about the wildlife and animals in the National Park. The BBQ was really tasty. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the nature and wildlife in South Africa. Thank you Addo Game Drives. We had a blast on your tour!

        Well organized and wonderful guides
We did the full day Addo drive which started with us being collected from our hotel and driven to the park with 3 other tourists. Langton, our driver and guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and gave us information on the park and the various animals. The highlight was spending time at a water hole that had many elephants bathing and preparing for a warm day by wallowing in the mud. A huge lunch (South African BBQ or braai) was included which I couldn't finish. My wife, a vegetarian, was well catered for. Communication with Clint was very good where plans and times were arranged. All in all, a great experience that I'd recommend.

Our first visit to the South African bush at Addo Elephant National Park was a wonderful excursion from our cruise ship call in Port Elizabeth. Steve was a very good guide and we saw many of the Big Five. However, the elephants were the stars of the day. Addo Game Drives also provided a terrific traditional South African BBQ lunch . We highly recommend this tour.

This trip exceeded expectations. The safari was thrilling from start to finish with an excellent driver/guide, Stephen. Lots of wildlife, including many zebra and antelopes, and of course elephants in large family groups. The best moment was a close but safe encounter with a male lion that literally brushed past our safari vehicle. The braai was also excellent.

On time Pickup in Summerstrand at our guesthouse. Great communication prior to booking with the owner Clinton.
We had a fantastic day and saw nearly all kinds of animals. Even giraffes outside the park during pickup of another couple. Steve is a great guide, answered all our questions with his great wisdom.
And not enough… he is a great cook and braai Chef. We can recommend the day tour to everybody

The guides were great, pointing out facts and explaining everything you asked. The safari was great, much longer than I thought. The braai was abundant and very tasty, even for my girlfriend who chose the vegetarian option. Very positively surprised, probably the best tour agency to book with in terms of quality/price. 10/10

Edson Mashawa was our fabulous driver and guide. We were picked up from the cruise ship terminal when there were 3 ships at Port Elizabeth. Our vehicle had 4 couples in it. It took about 45mins to get to the park, using mainly dual carriageways. It was a very hot day, but we were able to open the windows, which was also better for photographs. We were certainly thrilled with the many elephants we saw, as well as zebra, warthogs, red hartebeest, kudu and eland. Eddie gave us a coffee break as well as taking us into Jack's Picnic Site (with Jurassic Park style entrance gates!) for a wonderful Braai lunch.
Eddie is a very knowledgeable guide and clearly loves his job. We had a great day, thank you. We got back to the ship: tired, hot and dusty, but soon recovered and we have memories that will last a lifetime.

What an absolute fantastic experience, from a family run business.
From when we collected at the port, and transferred to the ideal Safari jeeps, great views and ventilation all round, and our guide Steve was so knowledgeable on all the animals that we spotted, through out the whole day.
Stopping for refreshments and when we pulled into the stunning picnic area, where Taren had prepared a stunning South African BRAAI (bbq) ,with lots to eat and choose from and lots to drink as well .
We also purchased some bits from the Toy Project , which Taren supports to help underprivileged ladies.
And off again scouring the huge National Park for more animals to see.
I must say from collection to drop off we had an absolute stunning day with Clint and Taren and the Team.
Very Professional outfit, and we had a fantastic day , we highly recommend if you are in the Port Elizabeth area, and when we do return to South Africa from England we will definitely be booking again.

What an amazing experience! As cruise passengers we had a much better time in our smaller group that Clint organized so well compared to what the tour groups from the cruise ship experienced. Do not book with the cruise ship, book with Clint and Addo Safaris! Our guide for the day was Langston and he was superb, from spotting animals, to giving us history of the National park, to how to identify animals and how old they are, he was so down to earth and friendly. Clint and his wife cooked an amazing lunch for us in the park. Overall I would highly recommend this tour!

Friendly service from Clint, great guiding and animal information from Steven, good vehicles, and delicious food for lunch. Plus they got us back to the ship on time. highly recommended! Do confirm pickup location and that you are with the right group, as there are many Addo safaris awaiting cruise passengers. Note: many cruise line excursions are in large buses with limited areas of the park to cover.
