Ride along the trail to Tongass National Forest with an electric bike
Trek through the rain forest and explore the native wildlife of the area
The perfect excursion for cruise ship passengers who want to see more
What to expect
Explore the lush Alaskan rain forest in this small-group tour with a maximum of six people, perfect for cruise ship passengers. Maximize your port time by combining multiple activities on this dual e-bike and hiking tour. Using an electric bike, head along Ketchikan’s paved bike path to the trailhead. Electric bikes can cover more distance and are much more fun than traditional bicycles, making the journey much easier. This leaves you with plenty of energy for the hike through Tongass National Forest. After mounting your bike, head into the lush rain forest of Southeast Alaska, which receives more than 200 inches (508 centimeters) of rain each year. Explore the flora and fauna of the area, including salmon filling the streams and deer roaming the forest. There’s even a chance to see porpoises, seals, sea lions, and even humpback whales from the beach on the way back to the port or your hotel.

super fun afternoon!
Jul 2021
This was a really fun way to spend the afternoon! The e-bikes were fun for the 5 mile ride from Clover Pass to the end of the road and Settler's Cove. Our guide Eric was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and we did a mild walk through the amazing rainforest to the cove. On return we were treated to a snack of smoked salmon and crackers and spreads, and a beer for the adults! Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will return for future adventures!
We had the best time on our E-Bike and hike tour. Communication with the company was fantastic, Devon is great! They really went out of their way to fit in a group of 5 of us, we appreciated that! Danielle was fun and well educated on the Forrest. We enjoyed the sight seeing tour on the bikes, the waterfalls, cove views, nature hike, and learning about the wild berries! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide! We will definitely use KKC for more adventures in the future!

Beautiful hike and fun E-bike ride!
May 2021
Relaxing e-bike and rainforest hike - great for every skill level! My knee was hurting due to a hike earlier in the week, but the e-bike allows you to coast via the battery so no leg power is required, unless you want to peddle!

The rainforest is gorgeous and Danielle is very knowledgeable about the trees and plants in the forest. I did this tour right after kayaking with their Kayak company.

Best bike experience of my life
May 2021 • Friends
Amazing bike experience. Devon is funny, generous, free- spirited, and super knowledgeable about the rainforest. I was able to intimatly experience the Tongass on bike as I coasted along beaches, waterfalls, lush green mossy forest. Devon was expertly able to identify plants, mosses, trees, forest history, and other. I saw whale, bear, several bird species, and deer.
The bikes are top of the line. This is the best tour in Southeast AK!
Thanks Devon

My daughter and I took a tour with Devin using a combination of Electric bikes and Trail hiking. It was absolutely amazing. Very informative about the nature of the forest. We also did the Kayak Tour as well. Totally recommended.

Favorite experience in Alaska
Jul 2020
Hands down our favorite activity in Alaska! We were a part of a small group of 6 people with an amazing local guide. She offered so much information about Ketchikan and it really gave us the "local" experience. The electric bikes were super easy to use and so much fun! The hike was a great opportunity to stretch our legs and the rain forest was breathtaking. I don't have a bad thing to say about this tour, and would certainly recommend it to everyone! Just book it :)

P.S. we took this trip in July 2019. For some reason trip advisor won't let me go back that far! Pre Covid.
