You'll start at
Jinfeng Cantonese Teahouse
229 Dongzhu'anbang Rd, Changning Qu, Shanghai Shi, ChinaMeeting Point: Kam Fung Tea House, 229 Dongzhu’anbang Rd, near Jiangsu Rd. While Apple Maps and Google Maps will note the name of the restaurant as Jin Feng, the name on the sign will be Kam Fung (Cantonese for Jin Feng). If you are using Apple Maps, please search "Jinfeng Mansion". Taxi Direction: 金凤茶餐厅,东渚安浜路229号近江苏路。 Traffic and taxis can be unpredictable, so to make sure you arrive on time and do not miss your tour, we recommend taking the subway (directions below). In fairness to all who arrived on time, we will leave sharply at the tour start time and do not accept latecomers. Public Transport Directions: Take Line 2/11 to the Jiangsu Road stop and use Exit 4. Turn left (west) on to Yuyuan Rd when you exit the metro and walk 50 meters to Jiangsu Rd. Turn left (south) onto Jiangsu Rd and walk 150 meters south down Jiangsu Rd to Dongzhu'anbang Rd. Cross the street & turn left (east) onto Dongzhu'anbang Rd and walk 40 meters to 229 Dongzhu'anbang Rd. Your guide will meet you on the sidewalk in front of Kam Fung restaurant. (Handy tip: All street signs in Shanghai have the cardinal directions N S E W on them).

Great tour with very delicious regional Chinese food. Our guide Kelvin was very friendly and knowledgable. My favorite part of the tour was the Sichuan restaurant (Chili chill) as I love spicy food and all the dishes there were not only spicy but very flavorful. I would 100%

The food was really great and our guide Kelvin was both engaging and informative. He was very accommodating with preferences and dietary restrictions so everyone left very full. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone that's in China for the first time or even people

We took two other Untour food tours in China both of which were a lot better than this one. The locations chosen for this tour were low end with several having filthy kitchens. A lot of the food appeared to be chosen for its shock value instead of its flavor. The Wang Ji

Response from Operations M, Manager at Eat Like A Local: Shanghai Night Food Tour
Responded 2 weeks ago
Hi Peter - We're glad to hear you had a great time on your other tours, but we are so sorry to hear that the tour didn't live up to your expectations, and we're surprised to hear you doubt the cleanliness of our kitchens. We pride ourselves on being family-friendly with a food safety focus. On our tours, we only work with trusted vendors whom we’ve been frequenting for years. We know their kitchens inside and out. These stops are our absolute favorite places to eat – the same places we take our family and friends – and we’ve built a reputation on helping people eat safely in Shanghai and Beijing since 2010. We hope you'll eat with us again the next time you're back in China!
