Overview

The Golden Triangle is India’s classic sightseeing itinerary, covering the highlights of Delhi and Jaipur while making a stop at the unmissable Taj Mahal. Cover the most fabled attractions of Northern India on this action-packed and personalized multi-day tour, which includes 4-star accommodation, private transportation, and savory breakfasts.

What to Expect

Your personalized tour of India’s famous Golden Triangle sightseeing circuit will begin with a flexible pickup in Delhi at your hotel, airport, or train station. In a comfortable, private car, you’ll take in the historic highlights of the Indian capital, from the 13th-century minaret of the Qutub Minar to India Gate, Delhi’s answer to the Arc de Triomphe.

You’ll have a chance to shop for one-of-a-kind souvenirs before taking the expressway to Agra, home of India’s most renowned landmark, the Taj Mahal. Enjoy a sunrise visit to the world-famous monument of love with a stop at Agra Fort. You’ll have plenty of time to explore both UNESCO World Heritage sites at your own pace.

From Agra, you’ll head to Jaipur, the sun-kissed desert capital of laid-back Rajasthan. Visit Amber Fort, a sprawling sandstone complex, and pose for photos in front of the floating palace of Jal Mahal and the famous beehive facade of the Palace of Winds. After free time to explore under-the-radar sights in the pink-painted downtown, you’ll be comfortably driven back to Delhi.

The places are beautiful. The Taj Mahal is definitely worth seeing, but I found the Observatory in Jaipur to be the best part. I had Sanju as my driver, he was good, kept up a conversation when I wanted it and let me sleep when...More
