        Flexible, convenient, friendly and unforgettable.
My designated tour guide, Ayuba, was really excellent and friendly. He was able to answer all my questions and was able to arrange to accommodate any requests I had about activities. He was flexible and really allowed me to tailor my experience. I would recommend this to anyone that is short on time to plan their own travels as everything was considered. I know elephants aren't guaranteed depending on the time of year, but I must have been there during the perfect time of year because I got to see dozens of elephants and was able to get quite close to them!

Wonderful days in Mole National Park
Thank you so much for this incredible and beautiful experience! Our sympathic and experienced guide Ayuba was on our side and disposition from the first to the last minute: We were picked up at the airport of Tamale and brought to Mole Motel, from where we started our wonderful tours with Ayuba, who was able to arrange walking tours, jeep tours, visit of the eco village, boat trip and more considering weather, habits of the animals as well as our personal interests, in order to present us an unforgettable adventure in midst of elephants, bush bocks, and all the wildlife of the Savanne. Thanks to the deep knowledge about nature and culture we learned a lot about animals, nature, culture and current projects of the zone, and furthermore there was enough space for interesting and diverting conversations and laughter after full days. Absolutely to recommend!

        Tamale trip
I decided to travel to the northern part of my country Ghana. This idea came in mind because of the history of giant elephants at tamale I wanted to see for myself

Great Trip with Best Ghana Tours
Best Ghana Tours helped me experience all the things I most wanted to see in Ghana. From the time I came out of the airport to the time I left, my guide Mashud was there to assist with everything from getting to the next destination to finding the best places to eat and shop. BGT also found great accommodations that met my budget needs. We spent the first part of the trip in the Accra area and visited Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, the fishing village, the Art Center, and great beachside restaurants. We also took a day trip to Kakum to do the rope walks. On our way up north we visited huge marketplaces and saw local craftsmen. Once up north we went on a canoe safari, a land safari at Mole National Park, visited the Larabanga Mosque, saw the Mystic Stone, and visited a village where they make shea butter. We also attended a big community festival where we saw traditional dancing and chiefs from many villages, as well as a local village wedding. Mashud was fun to be with, extremely knowledgable, and very accommodating. He also spoke fluent English as well as several other "local" languages, making it extremely easy to navigate throughout Ghana. I highly recommend Best Ghana Tours!

        Larabanga/Paga Stay
Ibrahim and Mashud were excellent guides for when my friend and I came up for the weekend (from Accra) to visit the northern parts of Ghana. We got to see the Larabanga Mosque, Mole National Park, canoe eco-tourism, and crocodiles in Paga! They welcomed us to stay at the orphanage in Larabanga, and it was such an incredible experience to really get to know the local community. Ibrahim and Mashud have become good friends of mine, and I highly recommend the tours as they will make you feel at home. I can’t wait to go back! They truly offer the best tours in Ghana. They offer tours throughout the entire country, and they will ensure that you see all of the places you want to see. Above and beyond hospitality from Best Ghana Tours!

        My Time In Tamale
This past November, I had the pleasure of visiting Ghana for the first time in my life. The main reason for my trip was to visit a friend from the US who had first studied abroad there and later decided to relocate there for work. Most of my time over the span of 11 days was spent in Accra, but I was told that the Northern part of Ghana was well worth the flight. I booked a flight up to Tamale and made my way to Mole National Park by bus through Damango and Larabanga. During my stay at Mole Motel, I took part in the daily car tours as well as an early morning canoe trip. On my way back from the canoe trip, I was discussing the remainder of my itinerary in the North with my driver. He was kind enough to suggest I contact Mashud from Best Ghana Tours in Tamale who would be happy to have me do a home-stay. When I returned to Tamale, I phoned Mashud and he came to pick me in a matter of minutes! He brought me to his friend's tailor shop to relax for a bit and engage in conversation with a few of the tailors he knew, followed by a stop at the Giddipass Crest restaurant and rooftop bar where I ate by far the best chicken chops I've ever had! Mashud was extremely accommodating at his home and provided me with everything I needed for my overnight stay. I was content with visiting the local markets in Tamale, buying gifts for relatives at home, and just getting to know my host, but I should mention that Mashud and his business offer so much more during your stay in Tamale! They offer personalized tours of Mole National Park, Larabanga, Tamale market, art centre, leather shoe and belt factories, Paga Crocodile pond, Tongo hills, Sirigu pottery, Kintampo Water falls, Boabeng Fiama Monkey Sanctuary, Kumasi palace, Cape Coast Castle, Kakum Canopy walk, Elmina Castle and Accra city tours. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him personally or his local references to friends and family visiting Ghana.

We only had one afternoon to spend in tamale, as we were coming from mole park that very day and kept on moving to hohoe the morning after. We called Mashud when we arrived an after a short rest he came to pick us from our place. It was great that it worked so short-term and he also adjusted the city tour to the short time and our wishes. Still we had the chance to see a lot of interesting stuff, take some drinks and share some local food together. We wanted to buy certain things (eg. Shea butter) and he included this very easily. We had the feeling to have really got a nice insight to the city that we never could have had alone. Plus the very nice personality of Mashud. You can ask him anything and he's a humourous guy to hang out with. Thanks!
