Overview
Visit Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee on a full-day trip from Tel Aviv to some of Israel’s most important Christian sites. You’ll follow the path of Jesus and the apostles as you visit places where Jesus is believed to have been born, taught, performed miracles, and been baptized. Since the tour is tailored to New Testament sites, it’s a great way to experience Israel’s Christian heritage with limited time.
What to Expect
After pickup at your hotel in Tel Aviv, enjoy views of the countryside from a climate-controlled coach as you travel to Nazareth. There, visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Then, continue to Kafr Kanna, believed to be the site of the biblical story of the wedding at Cana.

Arrive on the shores of the Sea of Galilee and pass the Church of the Multiplication, built on the believed location of the biblical feeding of the 5,000. In the archaeological site of Capernaum, see the ruined synagogue where Jesus is believed to have taught. Afterward, visit the baptismal site at Yardenit. If you’d like, you’ll have the option to be baptized in the same place where Jesus is believed to have been baptized. The return trip to Tel Aviv passes Mount Tabor, or the Mount of Transfiguration, and the day concludes with hotel drop-off.

Day tour to Nazareth, etc

I had a very nice tour. Our guide Lorne was very informative. I learned a lot and had a great time. They were very organized once we were picked up. I will come back to Israel and book additional tours with the same company.

Driver/guide was bad tempered

The day before I had been on an excellent tour to Jerusalem with the same company, however the tour to Galilee and Nazareth was ruined by the driver/guide on Saturday 8th September. His driving felt unsafe, I was glad the roads were quiet because we...More
