Overview

Visit Jerusalem and the Dead Sea on a tour from Tel Aviv that covers Israel’s cultural, historic, and natural highlights in a single day of exploring. Enjoy views of the countryside as you make the trip in a climate-controlled coach, walk the ancient streets of Jerusalem’s old city, then get some beach time at the edge of the Dead Sea, with convenient transport from Tel Aviv hotels.

What to Expect

Depart your central Tel Aviv hotel by air-conditioned coach and journey toward Jerusalem. As you travel, your guide explains Jerusalem’s ancient past and its centrality to Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths.

Enter into the Old City to see the Western Wall. Walk along part of the Via Dolorosa pilgrimage route and see the 14 Stations of the Cross that mark Jesus’ route to his crucifixion site, where the Church of the Holy Sepulchre stands.

Back aboard your coach, drive to the Dead Sea, the salt lake located at the earth’s lowest point on land—around 1,312 feet (400 meters) below sea level.

On arrival, enjoy approximately two hours to bathe and laze on the mineral beach. Experience a swim (or float) in the salt-rich waters, and, if you wish, enjoy a mud bath.

Later, drive past the historical city of Jericho on your way back to Tel Aviv, where a hotel drop-off ends your trip.

1 day tour Jerusalem - Dead sea

Nice trip. A well prepared (american!) guide gave interesting information. The timing during the day - the time spent on different locations - suited my wife and myself well.

Dear Happiness19935337732, Thank you for your sincere review. We were disappointed to hear that the guide and the shops didn’t meet your expectations. That must have been destabilizing and for that we apologize. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to Bein Harim and your feedback...More
