    Good budget transport
I took the shuttle from Ubud to Kuta. The driver is very polite. The bus came on time and journey was smooth. Because there were only 2 passengers on board, there was no hussle. It is very good option if you know the way to pick up point and have small luggage. Although it says bus, the car was SUV. Better option for light traveller. If you carry big luggages, better avoid. Grab and Bluebird are not allowed in Ubud, so this is the best option to avoid negotiations for price with local taxi guys.

Tourists want a little change to make the difference
We booked online this shuttle service between Kuta and Ubud and get 30% discount. During our trip it is less crowded, as there were only 4 pasengers. On time at the pick up starting point at Lippo Mall Kuta and the returning from Puri Lukisan Museum Ubud. But Kura Kura bus is no the hop on and hop off tour bus (as compared to tour buses in South Korea) as they only allowed point to point, to and fro shuttle service. There are several stops at the tourist spots like bird park and zoo along the way but once you go down you have to wait for the hours of the return bus trip which is many hours to go. So we chose to spent the four to five hours at the last bus stop, that is Puri Lukisan Musuem and roaming around bored and aimless. Our suggestion is to make the trip worth and interesting for tourists, the bus company should re-schedule a little, like stop at Beachwalk for 20 minutes, make another two stops at Bird Park and Bali Zoo for 30 minutes each to let tourists alight and taking a few photo of the place, while the remining time will be for touring around Ubud at the last stop. By this way it will not affecting the operating hours and route of the bus but could get more passengers who like to have a sight of the tourist spots in Bali. Otherwise, tourists may choose to go for other cheaper options on this route like the regular public bus in Bali, the Teman Bus which charge quite low fare by using the transportation e-money card.

I’m really happy with this service. I took it from Ubud to Kuta and worked perfect. Bus was new and it follow the route as planned without inconvenience. Best thing is that it was half price of a taxi

    5 Star customer service
I used a 1 day pass from Ubud to the bus bay. I caught another bus to see Kuta and Seminyak and then back to the bus bay. Buses left on time and drivers were really friendly. Buses had great air conditioning and seats comfortable. Staff at the DFS bus bay were fantastic. I left my favorite hat on a bus and after contacting customer service, they replied back immediately. On returning back to the bus bay, i was told that they had found my hat and it was in their offices. The staff were superb and helping me get it back at 7pm as I had a flight to catch. I received my hat only minutes later. I would highly reccomend this service to anyone. The kura kura bus company should be very proud of their staff members.

The Kura Kura Bus was our go-to for transport in Bali.. Unfortunately we discovered it only half way through our trip in a Lonely Planet guide. It's a bit slow, but safe and dependable with onboard free wi-fi! The ladies at the depot were extremely efficient and my e-mails were responded to promptly. Only wish it covered a wider area than Denpasar and surrounding tourist hubs!

    Excellent Service
I honestly dont understand how not a lot of people arent using this service. Its amazing and worth the price. I saved a lot of money by using kura kura instead of taking taxis everwhere. Honestly, with a little more marketing i feel like this service can become more profitable. Kudos to everyone whos behind this. We had an amazing time!

Great other way to get around and explore
First Solo Trip to Bali. Better late than never. The buses bring you to the popular places. You just need to plan where to go and see the schedule. The bus are on the dot so best to be there 5 mins to grab it

Grab the Kura-Kura Bus and see the neighbourhoods
This is a "locals" bus, however they don't use it as such (maybe too expensive I think). But for a visitor to Bali, it's a bargain. Around $10 for a day pass that allows you to access all 5 lines, allowing access to most of the southern parts of the island. You get to hop on and off as you wish at each stop, shopping malls, attractions etc and is a great way to get your bearings.

    Perfect way to go around
I really like this Kura kura bus. It even has free WiFi and charger outlet and has many routes. Instead of city tour, you can just use this especially if you stay a few days this is much affordable than using grab. The pick up points are also very clear . They even have an app to show you in real time where the bus are

Cheap and easy way to travel
We used this bus service a few times during our trip to Bali, we purchased the 3 day travel pass online, where you simply show the staff members/bus driver who scans the QR code. We travelled from Kuta to Ubud, this includes a single change at the DFS bus bay where the friendly members of staff are around to help you find the next bus. Bus was relatively quiet, not many people on the Kuta lines, a few more for the Ubud line (they advise reserving a space on this busier line which you can do on the website). We found the buses were pretty much on time, friendly drivers and air con. No complaints during the journey at all. We did travel out of peak season, so the service might get quite busy at other times of the year. The app has a handy map that you can track the buses on, this is very useful if you have an Internet connection so you can plan your journey. Timetables are also found here. Overall an excellent bus service that served us well during our trip!

The organization is friendly and professional. The pickup service is surprising very much on time, considering the traffic they must drive in. The Kura-Kura service Has full access to so many points of interest in the great Bali area. I am booked for the service for 7Days! Way to go Kura-Kuta!

We booked the airport transport service and we were given the 7-Day Bali Kura-Kura Shuttle Bus Pass to all lines for FREE. We were very satisfied with the service of Kura-kura bus and staffs. Our flight number to Bali was changed and I did not inform them. They thought our flight was cancelled, but still they've waited for us patiently at the airport. We arrived in Bali late in the evening. The driver who picked us up at the airport named Mr. Yudi Sutrisno, was very kind and accommodating. He even called our host at the homestay since we were having a difficult time locating the property. And on our flight out of Bali, Mr. Yudi was again our driver. He was very punctual.
The best part of this service wastheir free 7-Day pass to all lines. We used the 7-Day pass going to and from Ubud. It was hassle free and very organized. we saved a lot of money for transportation. I would definitely book kura kura services the next time I visit Bali.
