Angkor Sunrise Discovery Bike Tour
From US$85,00
Overview
Cambodia’s most visited attraction, the magnificent Angkor Archaeological site is crowded most times during the day. On this small-group tour, you’ll get an early start to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat before big groups arrive, and have plenty of time for questions. Explore the vast archaeological site by bike, seeing Bayon, Ta Prohm, and the Elephant Terrace, and enjoy included hotel pickup and drop-off, plus breakfast and lunch.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with an early morning pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and transfer to the Angkor Archaeological Park by air-conditioned minivan. Arrive in time to watch the magnificent sunrise over Angkor Wat, then head down to explore the ancient temple at its most atmospheric, bathed in the warm glow of the morning sun.

Set off on your bike tour and benefit from the cooler morning temperatures as you cycle along jungle trails and dirt tracks, avoiding the busiest routes used by taxis and tuk-tuks. Stop for breakfast at a local restaurant, then spend the morning visiting ancient wonders such as the Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm Temple, and the Elephant Terrace.

After an adventurous morning, covering a distance of around 15–18 miles (25–30 km), break for lunch, before returning to Siem Reap, where you will be dropped back at your hotel.

What an amazing tour. From start to finish we absolutely loved this tour. If you want to stay away from the large majority of tourists, and there’s a lot of them, then do this tour. We spent a lot of time on jungle tracks which...More

My partner and I did the Sunrise Tour on 6/11/2018. Absolutely fantastic and well worth doing! Our guide for the day was Phath, and what a great guide he was. I haven’t been on a bicycle for about 20 years and am carrying about 20kgs...More

An Active Way to See the Temples Around Angkor Wat

I was a bit skeptical at the $85 price tag, but this experience went way beyond my expectations! The day started with a 4:50am hotel pickup where I met my the other 3 members of my tour group (maximum of 6, so you can ask...More

It doesn't, but the admission fee is small. Our tour guide picked us up and we went straight to the office to buy our temple passes; it was packed even before sunrise! I believe you can buy it the night before after 5p but... More
