The two hour game drive through the Park pathways will give you opportunity sheer opportunity to be up close and personal with animals from the closest point while our experienced, humorous and fun guide explains to you on the lifestyles of these animals. Around noon it will be time to retire for lunch at the Old House Restuarant along the Chobe River where each of us will choose what to have for the day. wonderful experience
We were in Botswana with Moonlight Safari for 8 nights in the last part of April . We are a group of seven Italian friends which travels often together. We stayed two nights in Moremi, one night in Quai, two nights in Savuti and two nights in Chobe. Bogosi, the owner of Moonlight , was very flexible in organizing the tour with us, always responding to our mails and whatsapp calls. The tour was fabulous. Bogosi is a great guide and very knowledgeable about the bush animals. His enthusiasm about wildlife was contagious. At night, when we arrived at the campsite , the tents and hot water for showers was waiting for us. The staff very kind. They made fresh bread for us. The sounds of the bush at night is a unique experience. We returned home with lots of wonderful memories.I strongly suggest to visit Botswana national parks this way

Beautiful mobile camping safari in Botswana
Bogosi was a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide who always wanted to make sure we got the most out of our Safari experience. Peter set up a beautiful and comfortable camp every night as well as ensured we had plenty of hot water for washing up as well as a nice fire every evening and morning. Billy’s meals were simple and prepared fresh daily. We saw many beautiful animals (all of the big 5 except the rhino plus many more!) and really enjoyed the combo of sunrise/sunset game drives and boat trips on the Okavango. We did 5 days 4 nights from Maun to Kasane including the delta, Khwai concession, Savuti and Chobe. It would’ve been better suited to a 7-day safari as we drove a lot each day between parks but grateful Bogosi accommodated our ambitious plan. It was a really special experience to be in the bush for 5 days with no internet and just nature, highly recommend it.

14 nights/ 15 day mobile camping safari in Chobe NP, Savuti, Khwai, Moremi, Kubu Island plus Okavango Delta boat safari.
I, along with a large group of 11 friends had a fabulous 14 nights/ 15 days safari in Botswana and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) with Moonlight Safaris. We had a lodge accommodation in Kasane and Maun and special camping in Savuti, Khwai Community Concession, Moremi Game Reserve and Kubu Island (Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Needless to say that this was a serious task - the owner of the company provided two safari vehicles with two guides (he drove one of the vehicles himself) and a support vehicle with 5 people back-up team (a chef and 4 camp hands). They carried all the camping equipment - tents, stretchers, mattresses, linen, bush showers, tables, chairs etc. All vehicles were in top condition - we drove in hard road conditions, deep sand, dust and never experienced any mechanical issues. Both guides - Bogosi and Judah performed very well in terms of seaking, tracking and finding animals and birds. They found 9 different leopards within 6 days timeframe in Savuti, Khwai and Moremi. Lions (females, males, cubs) almost every day. At nights we had visitors in the campsites - Honey badgers, Elephants and Spotted hyenas. We had also a full day Okavango Delta motor boat safari and a scenic flight over the delta included in the program (both from Maun). Kubu Iskand in Makgadikgadi Pans National Park was something completely different from the rest of the places that we visited in terms of scenery - an island with lots of baobabs in the endless salt pan. The boat safaris and the game drive in Chobe NP from Kasane were very well done by Bogosi and Judah, a lot better than last year's drives and boat trips provided by the lodge. Bogosi also subcontracted a great company in Maun for the full day motor boat safari in the Okavango Delta. This is my second safari with this company and the owner Bogosi. Last year I had a similar itinerary and I am also planning to do another trip with him next year.

          Amazing safari
This was my first photo safari in Africa. It was an amazing and exciting experience. We saw so many animals. Spending the night in tents in the African bush was an unforgettable experience.

          Experience of a lifetime
Where do I begin. This was one of the best experiences of my life. No exaggeration. I had a broken leg and Bogosi and Timothy treated me like royalty and made me feel so welcome and at home. Not only have I experiences the trip of a lifetime, I have found a lifelong friend. I will definitely be back.

Amazing mobile caming safari in Savuti, Khwai Concession and Moremi Game Reserve.
This past August I and 7 other friends of mine had the privilege to do with Moonlight Safaris 6 nights moible camping safari in Savuti, Khwai Concession and Moremi Game Reserve. The owner of the company, B G, was guiding and in charge of the trip. Amazing experience in every aspect. We used public campsite in Savuti and Moremi, in Khwai - accommodated. B G is a very experienced wildlife guide with great knowledge of the animals, including birds and an excellent driver, as well (roads are mostly deep sand and quiote challenging to negotiate). We had fabulous sightings in all the parks/ reserves. In Khwai Concession, BG found a large pack of wild dogs and we spend more than an hour alone with them before other vehicles started to join us. Huge prides of llions in Savuti, lots of mamals and birds everywhere. B G knows how to position the vehicle for optimal light for photography, finds great spots for sunrise and sunset shots. I have done many safaris in Africa and do have a broad basis for comparison and I would recommend without hesitation B G and Moonlight Safaris for any type of wildlife trip in Botswana. I also hope next year to be able to do with them combination of the above itinerary plus the pans and Kalahari (Delta & Desert experience). Thank you, B G!

          Elephant Wonderland!
PROS: Our guide went out of his way to ensure a productive and safe trip. We saw TONS of elephants and giraffes in Chobe National Park. When we ran into trouble, our guide made sure everything was alright. He was flexible to accommodate our unexpected change of plans. CONS: Moonlight was an alternative local guide during the pandemic. He made changes to the accommodations and expectations listed in our itinerary. We were supposed to stay in a full tented camp but he found an alternative camp site that was a better deal. We like camping but it was not what we paid for. We got the river boat ride that was on the itinerary but it was with a boat of locals, which was a better deal. Overall: Good value for the most amazing experience with elephants!

Wonderful Safari in Moremi Game Reserve & Chobe National Park.
We were on safari and stayed in bush tents for six nights. The guide and staff did an excellent job in meeting our needs and cooking good meals and finding wildlife. We then stayed in lodges for five additional nights and continued on safari with Moonlight. It was an interesting and great experience with Moonlight Safaris. We traveled in eight-seat open vehicle which gave us great views of the animals.

A wonderful 9-day tour from Maun to Kasane.
Our group of seven were met in Maun by BG and his team (Chef Timoth and assistant Gift). We camped in Moremi, Khwai and Savute. This is pretty basic camping, in Dome tents with attached drop toilets and bucket showers. The attention to our wishes was excellent. Our every request was met and the food was very good. We had many outstanding wildlife sightings. We traveled in an open eight-seat tour vehicle which offered unimpeded views for photography.

          Awesome safari !!!
We did a three days and two nights Safari in the Chobe National Park that was totally amazing !!! We had a real bush camping experience with really good materials for sleeping, shower and toilets. The car is also very reliable. Bogosi was a very professional and caring guide that explains us a lot of things about wildlife and nature. Victor was a very funny and good cook ! The vegetarian option was also very good. We said to Bogosi that we really would like to see Leopard and he says it’s nature so we can’t decide but he looked a lot and finally day 2 in the morning we saw one crossing just behind the car which was totally amazing !! As he says « Chobe will never desapoint you » ! We saw many lions, girafes, elephants, beautiful birds and rapace and many many more ! Sunrise and sunset game drive are fantastic! The boat tour is also very nice because it shows something else than the game drive so it worth it to do both. We also have done the Victoria Falls transfer with this company and it was perfect : they helped with the border crossing, bring us in a cheaper place than the restaurant in the Vic Falls ... Thanks a lot Moonlight Safari for this awesome safari and transfer to Vic Falls and we hope to come back one day !!!

          Amazing experience - must do!
I went with two friends camping and it was such an experience like no other! BJ took care of everything and made sure were as comfortable and happy as possible. He and victor, the chef were as proffeshinole as can be. As for the tour we got to see most of the animals and BJ did his best to listen to our requests and answer our questions. Highly recommended!!

We have been taking guided safaris in Botswana for around 30 years now and Moonlight Safaris' full day trip into Chobe was one the best we ever experienced. Bogosi has an unparalleled knowledge of wildlife and the environment. His positioning of the vehicle was expertly done to allow for up close and safe encounters with animals. the picnic lunch was excellent. If you are looking for a true safari experience that is second to none, then look no further than Moonlight Safaris. Highly recommended.

Extremely satisfying 6 hours safari including breakfast-in-the bush! We saw elephant, giraffe, kudu, vast numbers of impalas, warthogs, a lot of baboons and numerous different birds.

A great opportunity to go further into the National Park than other game drives. Not for the faint hearted as it really was a full day, but a great experience.

In August I did a daytrip in Savute with my wife and two daughters 14 and 10 with Moonlight-Safaris and the very experienced Guide Bogosi Kakambi.
The drive itself through the deep sand was an incredible experience.
We were lucky to observe a leopard stalking an impala herd. We stayed with the leopard for a long time before finally disappearing into the bushes.
Bogosi Kakambi drove through the Savute Marsh. When we discovered a buffalo carcass, he explained the importance of the interaction between animal and nature.
Behind a bush in the shadow, Bogosi spotted two lionesses. We could take phantastic photos.
It was an exciting game drive especially by the super nice and very knowledgeable Guide.

Then two days later we made a day trip to the Chobe, of course again with the best guide ever “Bogosi Kakambi”.
We saw big herds of elephants and again our guide could explain a lot about these wonderful animals.
He tirelessly searched for animals and tirelessly answered our questions about animals and nature.
From the morning at 7.00 to the breathtaking sunset over the Chobe he accompanied us with joy and patience.
We had two wonderful enriching and exciting days that we would never dream of.
Thanks a lot to Moonlight-Safaris and Bogosi Kakambi.
