Best thing to do in Zadar (or even Croatia)
This was the best thing we got to do in our time in croatia. Boat was captained by a fantastic man named Neno and exceeded all our expectations. He took time to make us discover the islands around Zadar while telling us all about the region. We were treated with kindness at every step of the way and feel lucky to have had the occasion to take part in this ride with Neno. This activity will make your whole week. If you only have 1 day in Zadar spend it with Neno.

      Absolutely wonderful
We're so glad we booked this trip with Neno and his wonderful boat. It was the highlight of our week in Croatia. If you're looking for a relaxed trip (for up to 4 people) around the islands and a chance to swim and snorkel away from all the big tours then this is definitely the one to choose. Neno was so friendly, happy and helpful. He caught and cooked us fish on the boat and also knew when to give us time for ourselves. We love Neno and this trip, and we will definitely come back again if we're in Zadar.

      Magical Day on the Water
Neno is a lovely captain! We loved the private experience - we enjoyed plenty of swimming, eating fish we caught, drinking some beer, and learning about the beautiful islands. The boat is a piece of history itself.

      Authentic boot trip
Thank you very much for this authentic trip! We had a lot of fun and a lot of positive emotions. Neno is a great skipper and a wonderful person. We were swimming in beautiful blue water, chatting and drinking delicious coffee. We are very glad we took this boat trip. I can recommend it for everyone who wants more than just a touristic trip, but a beautiful and heartwarming experience.

Basic tour forum Plitvice but driver should thi k ti drive
It is a cheap tour. They carry you ti the lakes and the come back ti Zadar. Journey is 4 hours (go and back) and the driver spoke at the phone (without headphones) fir at least 3hours and half. I think it’s very dangerous and drivers should know it. We also waited a lot because some people were missing and there were no ways to contact them. More organization would be great.

First - be aware of the acutal entrance fee. The agency charged us 25 eur but the actual cost was 21 eur. They didn't say anything, but when we confronted them about it, we got the additional money back.

Otherwise keep in mind that the "tour" really only is the bus there, plus a guide writing on whatsapp. The rest, the amazing park and the boat ride - is entirely included in the entrance fee. Best take the cheapest option available to get to the park, then just go on your own there - it is very well marked and there are signs with information you can read.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is truly breathtaking! UNESCO have ensured a lot of money has gone into this to protect it. You cannot swim in the lakes, which protects the marine environment. There are cafés and toilet facilities in 3 places, that we saw. Outside the park food and drink is cheaper.
The routes are well sign posted but don't have any distances on them, which would be helpful if you need to make it back for your tour bus. With a lot of people visiting the boardwalks can get congested and we were late getting back. The boat trip is lovely and the train ride is a land train which cuts through lush forested areas. A trip I will never forget.

This is a fabulous trip - the waterfalls and lakes are fantastic and the guides are great at either giving lots of info or just letting you go off independently, there’s no pressure either way and it was all very relaxed. We struck really lucky with the weather as there had been thunderstorms the day before but we had a dry and sunny day so we got the benefit of walking in the warm sun but huge amounts of water coming down the falls - it was incredible. The team made you feel welcome, from offering pick ups and drop offs all over town to stopping at a cafe on the way for a quick snack and leg stretch and lots of info about what to and where to go. A must-do for any visitor to Croatia and the Jadera team certainly do it well.

Amazing trip in the beauty of Plitvice Lakes. If the weather is cloudy, or you experting rain, no worrys, it will be wonderful, because you will see the same amazing landscapes, with enough water for great views. I also recomend you to go în septeber, when is not so crowded. I was amazed by this experience, wich is indeed an landmark for Croatia. I want to make a special mention for Karlo, our guide, who explain all the things not only with the profesionalism of a guide, but with the vocation of the person who enjoyng working with people. Thank you for this amazing experience!

I highly recommend visiting the park with this company. We travelled in a large bus with air conditioning, and our guide was very nice. Once we entered the park, he recommended routes and had us explore by ourselves. The park itself is stunning and definitely worth visiting. The route we took was about 8km long, so we had enough time to take pictures and take a few breaks before having to return to the bus. Everything went smoothly.

The excursion started with 40 min later. No point in meeting in front of the agency and then walk to the bus 10mins more.
The return was supposed to be at 4pm. They told us that if your are late the bus will go without you. However, 15mins after we headed back to Zadar we were supposed to return back and to collect 4people who were late… very poor organisation

The organization was impecable, great communication from the moment I booked. They picked us up at our Apartment at 7:30 as agreed.

The bus ride was smooth, we stopped a few minutes away from the park to eat something and use the restroom, the guide proceeded by explaining everything in detail. The itinerary suggestions he gave for the trail in the park were amazing. With this tour the ticket was included so no lines whatsoever!

The park itself is one of the most breathtaking places I've ever visited, and trust me, even if pictures of it are beautiful, they don't compare to the place itself.

If you're in Zadar, don't hesitate on living this great adventure.

We spent yesterday's rainy day in Plitvice surprisingly well, the waterfalls are excellent and also the boat ride.
Special thanks to the young driver Jakov, who took us outside the route to Restaurant Macola, where we saw two large live bears. See you again next year.

After we were picked up from our accommodation as agreed, we went to the location in an air-conditioned bus. The guide Marin was available as a contact person and informed us about the different routes through the national park. It was an unforgettable experience in breathtaking nature and definitely recommended! :-)

Stunning. The national park is just gorgeous and so special.

We got an approx 2-hour coach ride from Zadar to the lakes. The lakes are as stunning as they are in the pictures. The talk was mostly quite shaded, which was a relief as it was a very hot day, so that wasn't an issue at all.

We did walk B, about 4km.

Well worth a visit, it's so heavenly!!

    Practical stuff:

The day we went it was very busy, so the paths were crowded. It didn't really affect our movement but a quieter day would have been nicer, so maybe check out the quieter seasons.

Because it was busy, the queue for the boat was also a bit long, but only about 30 minutes. Women's toilet queues were also a bit long at the boat stop.

The boat ride was lovely. The train is not really a train—it's like a lorry with passenger cabins—so don't expect it to be very scenic or traditional. It was quick and efficent, though.

Recommendations - use the toilet before you get on the coach as we stopped after about 2 hours for a toilet break.
