What to expect
Get the most out of your time on the southern Dalmatian Coast by booking this full-day trip to see the highlights of the neighboring country, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After getting picked up at your hotel and meeting your guide, enjoy the trip north of the city, passing through rustic seaside villages until you get to the border (don’t forget your passport!). Then carry on inland, stopping in Počitelj, a UNESCO-listed town. Take a stroll around town, and learn about its history as you stop to admire the historical structures of Haji-Ali Mosque and Sahat-kula, a silo-shaped fort on top of the hill above the town. Drink in the views of the Bosnian countryside as the air-conditioned coach snakes its way toward Medjugorje. Once in the town, hop off the bus for a closer look at this spiritually important town. It all started in 1981 when six children claimed they’d been visited by the Virgin Mary. And ever since then, Medjugorje has been an important stop on the Catholic pilgrimage trail. Take some free time here to explore the town and even attend a church service, if you wish. Then journey on to Mostar, a historical and culturally significant Balkan town, most known for its jaw-dropping beautiful bridge, connecting the Muslim to the Catholic sides of town. Stroll the streets of the town and take some time to witnesses the daredevils diving off of the bridge.  Head back to Dubrovnik and continue enjoying the views of the countryside until you’re dropped back off at your hotel.

It was a very educational and eye opening tour for me. Definitely will recommend to friends and family. Both lady tour guides were very knowledgeable and passionate to what they were sharing with the group.

This is a great trip with plenty of time in each of the areas.
The guide we had was wonderful and his English was excellent. There is a lot of driving but lots of history also. Time well spent!

Great trip! Awesome tour! Nina was spectacular!
Sep 2019
This was a super easy pick up in front of Pile Gate of Old Town, and then we were off to Bosnia! Mickey (spelling?) was a great driver, and Nina really blew it out of the water with her tour. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything.

I wasn't a huge fan of Medjugorje but I'm not a particularly religious person so it didn't really spark anything in me other than "ok it's a big church where a lot of people are I guess in rapture or something?"

Mostar, however, was awesome! That tour was great and I really enjoyed shopping in the bizarre, exploring around, and having some traditional Bosnian food. Nina had great recommendations!

Also we finished the tour by stopping by a small place called PUSH-A-TIN ... Kidding, I just have no idea how to pronounce the name let alone spell it. Nina would probably laugh at seeing that. Anyway, it had a nice little hike up to a cool tower with an amazing view.

Overall, I am super pleased with the tour. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mickey and Nina!

Such a shame
Aug 2019 • Couples
We have recently spent 2 weeks in Croatia and decided to do this tour when we were staying in Dubrovnik.

Firstly, Mostar was amazing. Such an interesting place to visit and the bridge is incredible. You can enjoy a nice lunch in view of the bridge. It is also very cheap, especially compared to Dubrovnik.

The tour however, we weren't pleased with. We were informed that the tour starts at 8am but then we're subsequently told they do hotel pickup so would get us at 7.15am. Didn't have a reason to say no so accepted. However, when the minibus showed up we were the last ones on the bus so had to sit apart from each other. Not the end of the world but worth considering when it is 8 hours on a minibus. My partner gets quite travel sick for example.

There was a lot of information, basically non stop throughout the tour. Really liked learning about Mostar and the civil wat etc. However, this started seconds after getting on the bus so was a lot of information to take in at 7.15am. Also, with all the information, one thing we did not get told was that we either do the waterfalls or the pilgrimage site. We were told this literally by the waterfalls entrance with no warning. We weren't old that we had to choose or even what each site actually was so we didn't even know what we were choosing. It was a couple hours drive there. Surely we could have been told about what each one was so we could make up our mind. Seemed everyone thought this as nobody got off the bus...

The most important thing to note is that it is not a luxury minibus and that there is no air con and the windows don't open. For me, this ruined the day. I was sat at the back of the cramped minibus when it was 36 degrees outside with no air con. It was suffocatingly hot but nothing could be done about it apparently. In the days following this tour I was really unwell, which seems likely a result of this. Basically avoid the minibus or summer if you still want to do this tour.

The passport control adds on a lot of time but is to be expected. It does mean that, other than Mostar, any of the stops feel very rushed. And you'll be so dehydrated and unwell that you'll spend the whole time off the bus looking for air con!

Lovely tour
Lydia maintained her professionalism all throughout considering that she'd been working for 10 consecutive days. She was also our tour guide when we had the Montenegro tour. She's very organised and knows the history of the cities. We wish though that we had more time in Medjugorje as 1.5 hrs were not enough to pray and buy souvenirs.

Wonderful trip and service. Only drawback is too many border crossings and they take time away from tour. Wish would have had more time in Medjugorge.

Crossroad of cultures- medjugorje and mostar from Dubrovnik

The bus arrived 20 minutes late to pick us up. The guide Tanya was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Our only complaint was the AC in the bus was not working properly with the result we had a very uncomfortable trip .We. Were visiting at the height of summer. The tour company should check these basic things before a trip as we as well as all others in our bus had paid a good amount for the trip.

Amazing Tour & Tour Guide
My friend and I went on a several week European vacation this past July and visited six countries. We generally choose to do our own thing and prefer that actually; however, knowing that we were going to spend five nights in Dubrovnik, we knew that we wanted to take a tour to visit Mostar because why not get a change of scenery and see a different country in a day with a guide to lead the way?! Fortunately for us, Suzana was our tour guide, and she was extremely knowledgeable with an amazing personality! She was informative and charismatic, and answered all of the questions she was asked with specificity and attention to detail. The time that we spent in Mostar was lovely and it was a very unique day, as people were preparing to dive off the bridge. We enjoyed the scenery and lessons about the history and my friend, and I had a fabulous lunch at Sadrvan when we had time to explore on our own before heading back. I would highly recommend this day tour to everyone because it was not only enjoyable, but I believe it’s imperative to learn about others’ culture.
