The best tour company in Skopje
Amazing tour with a great overall experience of the region around Skopje. Our tour guide Toni was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I enjoyed tremendously learning about the history of the Balkan countries, and many more world affairs. I’ve visited over 90 different countries, and I always do these types of tours. Toni is definitely one of the best tour guides that I’ve ever met. Thank you for making our experience so memorable. My friends were also delighted with you.

    Rip-Off
They only care about the money and only refer to some paragraph in their terms and conditions instead of informing the customer up front

    A must do.
The canyons are absolutely gorgeous. Breathtaking views. The view from Millennium Cross is also stunning, so is the little church we stopped by on the way to Skopje. My man Mirko made sure to explain everything about the history of Skopje and was very open for any questions.

Try their services and you won't regret!
We were able to meet the guide on time. The pin in Google Maps is correct. It was just hot to wait but their trees where you can use for as shade. It was a holiday when we toured so there are a lot of people in Matka Canyon and Millenium Cross. It was a good experience and WhatsApp # is correct. They reply to your inquiries. Our local guide is informative and speaks clearly but the driving in Skopje is crazy.

A beautiful pairing of two beautiful countries
When in Skopje, I would highly recommend taking a tour to Kosovo for the day. And ensure that it's not only to Pristina, as you would be missing the beauty that is Priszen. Kosovo is extremely underrated and I was not ready for what I was going to witness after crossing the border. If I hadn't know any better, I would've thought we made a wrong turn and ended up in Switzerland. Visiting of monasteries, small museums, libraries, patisseries, and more, allowed us to really take in the cities and experience the culture. I couldn't recommend this day trip more. For such a small, unassuming country, you are blasted with life when you enter the cities, especially Priszen. Great food, great people, and even better prices (for all of the budget travelers out there, like us) Elaina and Goran (I hope I'm spelling their names correctly) were amazing and insightful guides, full of knowledge of all we were seeing. They took great care of my wife and I, and allowed us to take in the country without feeling rushed. If the trip was a 9/10, they definitely gave it that last 1+ to a 10/10, undoubtedly.

    Amazing tour
We enjoyed our tour with Zlatko a lot - he is a great guide, who is very friendly, helpful, experienced and passionate about his job. Prizren and Pristina are places really worth seeing, we felt very safe at all times and learned many interesting things about the Kosovo and the region. Thank you for this great experience :)

    Daily Ohrid tour from Skopje
We bought a private Ohrid tour from this agency, the tour and our guide Vladimir was absolutely wonderful. He gave very valuable informations about Ohrid and about Macedonia in general. The places we saw were absolutely stunning and the recommended restaurant was also great. I recommend %100.

    Express sightseeing for box-tickers
This is a whirlwind tour of the must-see destinations in greater Skopje. It's classic bus tourism: park, take photos, move on. We spent ten minutes at Vodno peak. Heaven forbid you need to use the toilet. The schedule does not allow for that. The boat tour down Matka Canyon was the highlight, but the waterside trail is also worth doing. Wear layers - this tour flip-flops constantly from hot and cold settings. The main advantage of this tour is of course the guide. She was warm, attentive and personable. He background as a teacher made her explanations of history and art engaging and especially easy to follow. Another practical advantage of taking the tour is mainly that public transport doesn't run frequently enough to do both sights in an afternoon. The high price of the tour is a reflection of this - if you traveled independently it would take more time but cost less than half.

The driver guide was knowledgeable about Macedonia, but we were disappointed to not have any free time at the canyon after our boat tour. The boat tour to the caves was beautiful, but we left directly to spend an hour at the monastery. We assumed from the tour description that we would have an hour to hike or enjoy the views from the restaurant.

This was a really nice experience, and the guide was excellent!

We went there outside the season, so of course there wasn’t as many options as usual. But we could go on a boat trip to the cave, and enjoy the area. There was almost no other people here, so the upside of going at this time of year, is that it’s quiet and peaceful.

Our trip with Vladimir was wonderful. We had our very own private tour as there was just the two of us with Vladimir. He told us lots of interesting facts about Skopje, Matka Canyon and Macedonia overall. He was able to answer all of our questions and it was delightful to converse with him about general things, and he showed interest in our country as well. We would highly recommend this tour, as he gave us many excellent suggestions and you got a couple of hours to wander around Matka canyon, about 2.5 hours was plenty to have a boat tour, explore the cave, go for a little hike, have a drink/some food and even do a short kayak trip if you wanted. Being just the two of us exploring we had ample time.

Alex was a fantastic guide! He picked us up right on time and was warm and welcoming. His knowledge of Skopje was incredible. Matka Canyon is a gem in Skopje. Once we arrive, he gave us a brief tour of what was around then allowed us the freedom to chose what we wanted while he waited for us. We loved walking the trails. Alex made sure that we were always comfortable and relaxed and answered any questions we had. He was always going above and beyond. I can't recommend this tour enough! Be sure to book with him. :)

The organizers take you from the pick up pint and drive you up to the Matka canion. I am sure you can get there alone, but the fee for a transportation and a nice conversation is worth it. The Tourguide Vlad was very kind and we had nice conversations. The canion itself was very pretty, boat trip was funny because the staff entertained us a lot. There is a coffe house and toilet up the canion so no necessity to take food. After the boat trip (extra fee) Vlad drove us back to the city. For sure a must point to see when you are in Skopje.

We spend 2 days in Macedonia and Kosovo and we relied on the organization of SKjope daily tours. In both occasions (Makta canyon and Pristina) the guides really made a difference in the deep understanding of the countries and on what we were visiting. Their professinality amazed me! Defenitely suggest the tour operator.

The driver was good and there was also plenty of spare time. Does not include any other spots (churches, millennium cross etc.) Basically you pay for the car ride and some basic information. Matka canyon itself (with the added boat ride) was beautiful!

The canyon itself was nice, but it felt like not enough time to really enjoy it - essentially enough time to do a 1-hour boat-ride, while I was hoping to also kayak and eat lunch there. We stopped at a church on the way home but it was not so special. I was dropped back in Skopje 30 minutes early, which I would have rather spent in the canyon itself. All that said, my guide/driver was very nice and told good stories. I would recommend a full-day tour to Matka Canyon, if possible.

We had a short trip from the city to the Canyon during which we learnt so much about culture and history. The scenery there was lovely and it is definitely a recommended destination when visiting Skopje during the warmer or sunnier days.
