          Best day in El Salvador
This was an AMAZING day! The day is full so get some rest the night before. Gabby was an amazing guide. She was sweet and friendly. The group that joined us on the tour was a vibe! It felt like we were a little family. Gabby did not rush us at any excursion we stopped at. She took photos of all of us and watched our things while we went on the excursions. I would definitely do this tour again and i would LOVE for gabby to be the guide 10/10

          Good experience
The overall experience is consumed of driving to the Ataco. I love the culture displayed and the beauty of knowing everything is hand made with love. You can purchase anything at a well feasible price. In a town filled with arts, crafts, colors, churches and history give you so much appreciation to culture. The hot spring was hot and in some parts it was excruciating hot. The restaurant offer a variety of different food. The hot springs were filled with many bugs. They need to clean it. I didn’t really enjoy the hot springs because I wasn’t interested in floating with the bugs. I did enjoy the sauna room.

Our tour guide was Josué Romero, and he was such a lovely guide!! Josué went above and beyond for our group of 3. He was extremely informative and was able to explain the history of El Salvador well. He is very attentive and also a great photographer, helping us capture the moments! He helped us out in so many ways. He truly made the experience worth every penny. I highly recommend the tour to anyone that’s on the fence about it

Fantastic Tour with the Best Guide
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the Ruta de las Flores tour with our guide Josué. He was very informative and we could tell how much he loves his job and his beautiful country. We learned a lot about El Salvador’s history, education system, politics, economics, and we gained appreciation for the heritage preserved in the towns along the Ruta de las Flores. On top of that, Josué made sure we experienced the things we would not experience elsewhere such as buying us pupusas made of yucca and fitting in an extra stop at Cafe Albania for the big rainbow slide and other fun rides. We had plenty of time to bask in the hot springs as well. I also appreciated that Josué takes awesome insta-worthy pictures and is on time! We had a wonderful time and the tour was truly worth it and extra. We ended up booking with the same company and guide for the volcano hike because we had such a great time with them. Thank you, Josué!

Favorite part of the vacation so far.
I loved everything about this tour. The towns were all very beautiful and the people were super friendly. You should definitely pick up some fresh produce from the markets. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. The coffee plantation tour gave me a renewed respect for coffee and the farmers that produce it. Best tasting coffee I've ever had. The hot springs were fantastic, I would highly recommend the volcanic mud spa treatment, it made my skin feel incredible. We had lunch at the hot springs, and it was delicious. Our tour guide, Gab was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great driver. Would recommend anyone visiting to take this tour. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

          David made the day great!
We had an awesome time with David! We also had a really fun and easy-going group that was willing to try new things and had open minds to experience the culture of this beautiful country. You could be very adventurous on the trip and do the zip line, crazy swings at the cafe or just do the slide (which was exhilarating) and drink beer like we did. Ataco was great way to observe the daily life that many people experience in this country. We had interesting and delicious fruits sold by street stall vendors, great coffee at the cat cafe with a beautiful garden and a “loca papusa” with a great mural view. The hot springs were similar to ones we’ve been to in Costa Rica, but involved a mud cleanse and offered a relaxed place to eat and watch people. David was the guide you always hope you get. He adapted the tour to our desires, made you feel comfortable and made us laugh. Thank you! Amazing tour!

El Salvador and Copan Ruins Five Stars
We highly recommend El Salvador Positive Tours. They were responsive and accommodating to all our request. We were fortunate to have Gaby as our tour guide for this full day tour to Copan. The drive is very long - about 5.5 hours each way. But, it was well worth it. Gaby was an amazing driver and tour guide. During this excursion you must cross multiple countries and Gaby took care of all the logistics and made it seamless. Gaby was kind, funny, knowledgable and passionate about her country. Her English was perfect. She's a great photographer to help capture the moments. If you are thinking about visiting El Salvador and/ or the Copan Ruins DO IT! and when you do we recommend you use El Salvador Positive Tours. Thank you Gaby!

Josué was awesome! 1st time in Salvador but it felt like home after attending Josué's tour! As a solo attendee I never felt solo (there was another person from the US who joined) but still he provided solo attention to each of us which is impressive. Overall, I was able to have a very memorable hiking experience (would suggest wearing layers & good hiking boots/shoes), taste great Pupusas (be prepared to LOVE this food!), go water skiing (not included in the tour but became included!) & have a great lunch w/awesome views (live band music at lunch taking song requests)! This summary should be reason enough to join Josue's tour but for anyone still undecided about booking w/Josué & the Co. he works for, here are 4 few unforgettable highlights: 1.) Our tour group reached the top of the Volcano 1st & was 1st to make it down! 2.) Josué has a degree in Tourism & has great pride in teaching about El Salvador but also about the intercontinental connections between El Salvador & all of the Americas including the US 3.) Josué was adaptable enough to add new experiences to the tour itinerary such as stopping to get Pupusas before hiking or grabbing delicious ice cream midway down the Valcano & 4.) We became 1 big hiking group w/other tour groups & tour guides when coming down the Volcano so much so that other Estadounidense/US Citizens who were touring w/other guides joined in taking 1 big photo together at the top. Simply put, you will NEVER forget this tour. So what are you waiting for, make a reservation already my friend(s)!

Francis and his team of guides are superb. We arranged a tour to hike the Santa Ana volcano on a Wednesday this past July. We were honestly some of the slowest people that day and our guide was patient all throughout. He waited for us and didn't discourage us at all. He was also informative and didn't get annoyed with all the questions I had. I always have a lot of questions!
I would recommend this tour to beginners, and advanced hikers alike but I ESPECIALLY encourage first time hikers to book with El Salvador Positive Tours. They will be patient with you unlike other tours I have heard of. They also know a lot about the flora and fauna of the area so you will learn a lot even if you're out of breath.

We had one of the best tour guides! Josue was so friendly and informative; he picked us up from our hotel and drove us to our destination. He was knowledgeable about the area, and we learned a lot about El Salvador that day. Our hike was so fun! The best surprise was seeing a guy selling ice cream at the top of the volcano! (I love ice cream 😊)
Josue is a fantastic photographer! Also, He is extremely kind! My birthday was the day of our hike, and I happened to mention it when we got there. At the end of our hike, we went to Lago de coatepeque to grab some food (The food was so tasty and cheap). After our meal, Josue surprised me with a dessert for my birthday. My boyfriend and I were surprised (we weren’t expecting anything like that). Josue is such a fantastic person! 110% recommend him and this hike.; the dessert was sooo delicious!

As someone who has traveled to El Salvador 10 times before, I was surprised how much I learned on this tour. Francis is an excellent guide and was very friendly. I really enjoyed the hike which was about four hours in total. The restaurant we were brought to in lake Coatepeque was delicious and overlooking the water. I was so impressed that I took another tour with this company with Josue to Routa de las Flores and the Santa Teresa hot springs which was also absolutely gorgeous. If you want to learn a lot and have a great time in El Salvador, i can not say enough good things about this company. 10/10 would recommend.

Awesome tour guide Josue he gives history of the Salvordans, encouraging, takes great photos! The beautiful views of the volcanoes, the beautiful crater at the top, lunch at the lake! It is a must book trip! You will not be disappointed. I had an amazing experience and I went solo, but never felt alone! The hike is difficult at the beginning, but later becomes hard and durable as your body adapts to the terrain. When booking the trip ask for JOSUE and remember to wear hiking boots you will not be disappointed!!

Our guide Gaby was great, gave us a nice history of the country and it's volcanoes en route. The pick up and drop off service is excellent. We were glad we started early 6.15am pick up as when we descended the volcano hundreds of people were coming up, so good to start early! Crater lake is spectacular as are the benched profile of the crater itself. 30 minutes at the top was sufficient time to take it all in. A great day tour experience when in El Salvador!

Francis is our tour guide, and he was excellent.
He was very punctual, professional and knowledgeable.

The tour itself was amazing, well organised and enjoyable.
The view from the top is breathtaking and Francis knows all the good spots to take photos :-)
The lunch by the lake Afterwards was exactly what the group needed after a four hour hike and the view was phenomenal.

This is a must do in El Salvador.

This was such a memorable experience! My guide was Josue and he was amazing! He communicated very well with every step of the way for our hike to Santa Ana Volcano. Before our hike I mentioned I haven't had pupusa yet and he made a quick stop for me and it was so delicious. He is even such a great photographer because the surrounding views during this hike was spectacular and he was able to capture those wonderful moments for me. After viewing the beautiful views and sights there was a man selling ice cream and Josue suggested a flavor I wasn't familiar with called zapote. It was so freaking delicious. After our hike we headed over to a local restaurant with beautiful breathtaking views of lake coatepeque from above. I had Josue suggest a meal for me since the menu was in Spanish and also a local beer. The meal was absolutely the best food I had while in El Salvador. It was so much I couldn't even finish it and I'm a big eater. I highly suggest this tour especially if you can get Josue as your guide.

Took this trip with Josue Romero and he turned out to be one of the best guide ever. Flawless communication leading to smooth pickup, followed by a comprehensive brief of the events lined up for the day and smooth drive to the start point. We climbed with good pace and still keeping the group together by highlighting the landmarks enroute and narrating intresting stories. His photo graphy skills are superb which was mostly seen at the mouth of the Volcanic Crater. Over all a great day out followed by sumptuous lunch. Thans Josue for making my day.

I think I lost 5lbs on this hike it was really fun! Josué was an amazing guide and extremely knowledgeable about the nature and surronding volcanoes. Personally, the first 10 mins of the hike to the office was somewhat challenging, I was definitely breathing hard halfway through it but I’m out of shape and canceled my gym membership so it’s what i deserve… but after that it wasn’t as bad! The views were spectacular, Josué took such great photos of us along the way and when we reached the top - and let me tell you the views were absolutely breathtaking. Once you get close to the top however the path becomes almost entirely made of rocks so going up this part may require attentive effort, i would recommend comfortable hiking shoes and getting a walking sticks for $1 before the hike.

Josué was so fun, it felt like i was hiking with a friend and he humored me when i asked how to say literally everything in spanish :D

Highly recommend this tour and ask for Josué if you want phenomenal pictures and a good time!
