      Amazing experience with Alfredo
It was an amazing trip with Alfredo. Absolutely amazing guy, very informative and a great guide. Tour was altered a bit due to weather conditions but Alfredo kept us busy with enough places to visit and it was a great experience overall. We had plenty of time to stop and enjoy the highlights. Started our day from El tunco, then we went to joya de ceren. After that it was Parque Arquelogico San Andres. Lunch had an amazing view of lago de coatepeque. After lunch we headed to taxumal and ended our day with santa ana city. We got dropped back to where we got on. Overall very happy with the experience. Definitely recommend

      A wonderful and unforgettable trip
My tour guide Mr. Alfredo Diaz is a very dedicated person, he paid attention to every detail throughout the tour, he gave me a detailed introduction of the sites and I appreciated the fact that Mr. Alfredo Diaz has a wealth of knowledge about history and natural sciences. He held an umbrella for me when it rained. He opened the door of the car for me after visiting each attraction. At lunch time, he introduced me to delicious and inexpensive restaurants for lunch. The best part of the trip was that he took many high quality photos of me at each place of interest. Mr. Alfredo Diaz's high quality and excellent service left me with good and pleasant memories of this trip, he is one of the best tour guides I have ever met, and I hope to meet him again the next time my friends and I come to San Salvador. Amazing Mayan ruin tour with scenic Volcano stops!
I was the only person on the tour and Alfredo made it very informative and comfortable. I could have a conversation with him and ask questions about old and modern history of Salvador. He knew where all the vista points were for photos of volcanos, lakes, etc along with advice on what restaurants to eat to enjoy a full experience of Salvador. Thanks Alfredo!

Great tour of Suchitoto with Alfredo
Alfredo was a wonderful guide! He shared a lot of information about the history of the area and answered all of my many questions. He helped me find a specific item I wanted to bring home, taught me some new camera tricks, and made sure I was hydrated. He also gave me some suggestions for things to do near my hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Alfredo!

      Full day combo tour fun
We enjoyed every minute of the tour. Alfredo Diaz was an amazing tour guide. His guide was in English and Spanish, Alfredo had very good knowledge about every stop we made. We enjoyed the interaction and explanation of each place to visit. We took lots of pictures and learned new things about el salvador. I would recommend this tour and ask for Alfredo Diaz. The best full day combo tours- Volcanos lake and Mayan sites. We were not able to see the lake because of the fog. Other than that everything was as expected. The casa 1800 was top notch, service and food were great. My favorite drink was horchata.

      Reliable Tour Agency
I only had a limited time in San Salvador. I contacted Salvadorean Tour Company to give me a custom city tour. They were very prompt in replying to me and giving me exact details of a proposed tour. On the day of my tour, their tour guide greeted me at the airport as committed. We saw everything that was listed in the itinerary and at the end of the day I was dropped off at the location I had specified. My tour guide Eduardo was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use Salvadorean Tour Company again should I come back to El Salvador.

      Good experience
It was a very nice tour. The guide Alfredo Diaz is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He allowed adequate time for us to enjoy each place of interest. He also accommodated my lunch preference and took me to a restaurant with very tasty pupusas and reasonable price. I recommend him to others who would like to visit San Salvador.

Salvadorean Tours seems like an excellent company and Eduardo did a great job as guide. They provided a comfortable, spacious AC van and driver along with the guide. This tour covers a lot and is fascinating but do note that it is a very long day, about 11 hours for the one I attended. I would suggest to possibly shorten the time in the museum parts of the Mayan sites and let people look around on their own for 5-10 minutes inside to get a little background and read the displays, then focus more on the sites themselves, which are fascinating. And the volcano and hike around the crater in the national park was certainly the highlight, well worth the trip. Eduardo is knowledgeable, fun and energetic and really cares about his work. I am happy I selected Salvadorean Tours to help me make the most of my short visit to El Salvador.

This was a wonderful tour with so much history and beauty! The Mayan ruins and pyramids were very impressive to see in person. Our amazing guide, Alfredo, was so knowledgeable about what we were looking at, which made the experience even more meaningful. The views of Lake Coatepeque were absolutely breathtaking and the walk through the jungle was beautiful and charming as well. Highly recommend this experience! :)

I had utterly the best day out with Benjamin as our expert tour guide! I was picked up at crack of dawn from my hotel which was miles away from anywhere else and wasn't part of the normal pick-up list of locations, so I already felt like I was getting a non-generic experience!
Throughout the day Benjamin took the time to explain all about Salvadorean history and culture, pointing out all sorts of sights out of the windows all the way along as we were driving between the different tour sites. I thought I was only going to experience the Mayan ruins and the volcano, but I left having taken more away from the day than I could have imagined! On the journey back he even took time to stop off for us to buy fruits when it was mentioned that I hadn't tried one of the local delicacies

I really really appreciated how warm and friendly the entirety of the Salvadorean Tours staff were, from the booking process to the day itsself I only had positive reflections!

As a solo female traveller it really makes all the difference when a company takes time to make you feel like a human rather than just another customer

We had an enjoyable trip. It is exactly as described, pickup on time at the place, the stops as described, the routes as described (the national park, lake, 2 Mayan sites, with sights of volcanos if weather permitting). The tour guide Ado did a good job telling us the history and culture of El Salvador. Beautiful forest, lake, and a delicious lunch.

What a wonderful day trip! Enjoyed the entire tour in Spanish. Lots of history and great information. The guide also spoke English so anytime I didn’t understand he would translate. We stopped to eat at a place on Lago Coatepeque to have lunch and enjoy the view. Also enjoyed el Cerro Verde! Amazing trees and views that I will always remember. Most of I felt safe and in good company. I recommend!!!! It is a full day so bring some snacks and water I❤️ El Salvador

Nice tour of the surrounding area of San Salvador. Be aware that most of what is described in the headline isn't actually included. You get views of volcanoes nad the lake but there's no hike/visit of any of those. A bit false/misleading advertising and the 1800 Restaurant where we ate is quite overpriced and really messed up our order of steaks for $20 which came smaller and overcooked. Our guide was very nice but it's just a bit disappointing when you expect something that isn't delivered.

Came to El Salvador Friday for a wedding on Saturday, had one day left and i wanted to see as much as possible, this tour did it. My Guide Antonio was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about history and culture. Took alot of pictures. Tour has a little bit of everything. Nature, museums and historic sites and a few spots for souvenirs. My Spanish is basic at best, so I was glad that Antonio was a fluent English speaker. He had no problem understanding my Caribbean accent. He was accommodating and would often ask about my well being. I have spent a few years in the tourism industry, this tour was great.

Prior to meeting with Eduardo, I had to contact the company through the app to give them the location of my hotel. It was not available in their drop down menu. I was given two time be ready for pickup and he arrived split in the middle of them. We began at Joya de Cerén which was so cool because it shows you how the everyday people lived instead of the upper class like most other ruins. We then moved to San Andres which is a ruin that showed how the opposite of Joya de Cerén. It was nice to see and read the history of the site. No it is not the size of others in Central America but the history is there. We had lunch at La Octava Maravilla Resturante & Bar. I had the fish and it was overcooked and lacked seasoning to me, but still decent to eat. I wouldn’t recommend it. The view was spectacular for the meal though. Lastly, we visited Al Parque Natural Cerro Verde. I enjoyed the hike through the forest and the look out point prior to entering the park.
Eduardo is very knowledgeable and gives great insight. His passion for the Salvadoran people is evident as he explains the locations, gives insight in current culture and can answer all your questions. The insight on plants was a bonus for me. He does drive a bit erratically (fast and moving in and out) to navigate the roads which made me uncomfortable at times.
This is a tour I recommend, but would suggest the following 1. Take bug spray with you as I needed it at San Andres. Lots of mosquitos. 2. Order something other than the fish at the restaurant. 3. Make sure you contact the company about pickup time and your location since this cannot be done in the app.

Our tour guide Alfredo was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and polite. The tour was as advertised stopping at all sites listed plus we stopped for lunch at a restaurant with an incredible view of the lake. Again, the tour guide (Alfredo) was really great and made the tour exceptional. You can tell he is passionate about his job and proud of his country. There was no question we asked that he couldn’t answer and he appreciated him helping us take great pictures too. We would highly recommend this tour with Alfredo as your guide.
