The portrait of Mary was hung on the wall and for centuries people come to pray in this location. If their prayers were answered they would place a plaque on the wall to show their thanks.

Ivana was a great tour guide and we loved learning more about Zagreb itself In addition to the food. It was also nice to try some authentic Croatian food as we had trouble finding this at a lot of the roadside cafés.

Good variety of food and wines. The food options were dishes that I probably wouldn’t have tried if it was not for the tour. Ivana managed extremely well through the downpour of rain to still give us detailed information.

I advise you ask tour operator as they might be able to arrange for pick up. You would love this tour but has wine...so maybe not if you lack sleep?
