I was 3 days in Sarajevo and 2 days in Mostar. Our guide was Fatima and she was outstanding. She was always available and took care of us. Super service! Thank you Fatima! I can only recommend it.

We are a mountain sports association from Madrid that wanted to organize a mountain trip this year through Bosnia and Montenegro, exploring some sections of the Via Dinarica White Trail. As the trip coordinator, I contacted Green Visions in January, and together with one of their experts, Samer Hajric, we arranged for them to create a custom itinerary for a group of 16 people from our mountain association. The planning and coordination of the activity in the months leading up to the trip were perfect. Samir presented us with different options, and we worked with him to make some adjustments to meet the expectations of a mountain group like ours. The execution of the trip was wonderful. The daily treks exceeded our expectations, and the accommodations, meals, and dinners were perfect. Samer’s professionalism as a mountain guide was exceptional—his knowledge of the terrain, having alternative options available at all times, and his ability to anticipate potential weather-related issues were all outstanding. He also managed the trip's logistics expertly, solving problems on the go (e.g., changing restaurants on the fly, finding alternative transportation when we had a minor issue with the bus). Our group, A.D. Grupo Montaña Pegaso, is very satisfied with our experience with Green Visions and Samer, and we highly recommend them for custom mountain trips and mountain adventures in Bosnia and Montenegro.

We recently returned from the self-guided via Dinarica trek. It was a very positive experience. Green Visions did a great job organizing and supporting our trek. Laurence was very friendly, informed and was passionate about sharing the history of the region. It was our first time in the Balkans, and we hope to return to explore further.

Just finished the 4 day hike and it was amazing. From the very beginning Samer was very helpful in planning and getting everything organized and communication was great. Our guide Saudin was awesome. Very attentive to the needs of the group, very knowledgeable about the mountains and Bosnia and learned a lot from him. He went above and beyond to make sure the entire trek ran smoothly. We took a one day tour hiking from the village of Umoljani to the remote mountain village of Lokomir with Lorenc. Greenvisions are an ecologically conscious tour company and what came across is their passion for there and the people in it. Lorenc was honestly one of the best guides we have ever had. he was funny, sensitive to our needs and informative. He showed us edible plants, as I am interested in them, talked about nature, animals, about culture, about the impact of the war, history about people and life in Sarajevo. The tour was incredible with some of the most splendid views in the Dynamic mountains. I would highly recommend this tour company. I want to go back. I suspect I will

I am very happy to have done the hike to Lukomir together with Green Visions. The organisation and communication was very professional. I appreciated that I was able to book at such short notice. The hike itself was very nice, the paths were pleasant to walk and the scenery was beautiful. I found it enriching to gain a small insight into the village community. You immediately realise that the guide and Green Visions have a lot of experience. The guide answered all my questions patiently. I felt that I was in good hands at all times.

We did two tailored day tours with Green Visions. Samer was particularly responsive and helped us plan the content of the tours based on our interests. Overall the company is responsive, well-organised, reliable and knowledgeable. On the ground, we were particularly pleased with our hiking guide, Lorenz, a very experienced and fun guide. We discovered many places and facts that we would not have been able to. I definitely recommend Green Visions for both nature and culture based tours - they are very professional and friendly.

We made in september 2023 a mixed individual trip with Greenvisions: first week Bjelasnica-hike self-guided and the a 5 days guided trip with Lorenc Konaj from the Greenvision team in the Sutjeska National Park, which is quite different from landscape and mountains. We could not have chosen better : fantastic wild landscapes, friendly people and all well organized by Greenvisions; nothing to complain. Lorenc was a fantastic, welcoming and professional guide for the Sutjeska mountains and you could feel the pleasure guiding us in his home country. He showed us amazing landscapes and parts of the country which are not easy to find and to discover yourself. Greenvisions provided for the second part of the trip a four-wheeled car wich enables access to some of the unpaved mountain roads to avoid starting deep in the valley. Hotels and guesthouses chosen by Greenvisions were perfect and we experienced from simple mountain huts to very comfortable hotels everything. We would go again with Lorenc and Greenvisions without any hesitation. Highly recommended. Please keep in mind that the selfguided trip on Bjelasnica requires good physical fitness and mountain hiking experience, as the terrain is sometimes difficult and the trail in parts not so well marked, but with the gps-track provided by Greenvisions we had no problems . Greenvision was flexible concerning changes caused by bad weather and some health issues, so we adapted the trip in the Sutjeska mountains to local conditions and our abilities. I would like to advise you to make like us a longer trip in Bosnia as it is always possible to have 3-4 days of really bad weather - as everywhere in the higher mountains of Europe. My husband and I and 8 others, did a 10 day hiking trip starting in Sarajevo, Bosnia and ending in Podgorica, Montenegro. The trip was spectacular thanks to Samer, our guide, the beautiful mountains, the well chosen trails, the interesting range of lodging, a wild but safe rafting trip and more. Samer adapted the itinerary according to the weather and the needs of individual hikers. He is skillful, intelligent, warm, patient, cheerful, flexible, and knowledgeable about Balkan history and culture.

Our ten day Via Dinarica tour in Bosnia and Hercegovina and in Montenegro included hiking in the mountains that hosted the 1984 Olympics near Sarajevo, in Sutjeska National Park, and in Durmitor National Park. It also included a rafting trip on the Tara River. Our lodgings were always comfortable, with wonderful local food. I especially enjoyed the fresh vegetables and cheeses. My favorite day of the trip was when we hiked from the village of Umoljani, where we were staying in a guest house run by a local family, to the village of Lukomir, high in the mountains, with views over Rakitnica Canyon. Our guide, Samer Hajrik did a great job navigating the challenges caused by weather, varying fitness levels, and other emergencies that popped up. He shared the love he has for his country and a wealth of information that has left me wanting to learn more about this part of the world. I especially loved learning about the ways the Via Dinarica is creating bonds between countries and seeing first hand how the long-distance hiking route benefits nearby communities.

Green Visions is the go-to organization to help you hike through Bosnia. Samer, a staff leader, provided us with all the information, maps, and GPS coordinates we needed. Green Visions found solid accommodations for us--particularly the Pansion Umoljani, a family-run inn with terrific food. Bosnia is safe and beautiful. It is also poor and not a tourist trap place. You can truly enjoy the countryside and the cities of Mostar and Sarajevo. Green Visions can help along the way. Highly recommended.

He organized a truly magical hiking trip. Thanks to him, I hiked many mountains while learning so much about Bosnian history.
