Overview
Nearly every neighborhood in Singapore is home to hawker food centers, colorful eateries that make some of the islands best—and most inexpensive—meals. Immerse yourself in Singapore’s diverse street food culture on this tour of several neighborhoods and their hawker centers. A guide will help you sample the best local specialties inspired by Chinese, Malaysian, and Indonesian cuisine. Plus, you’ll get round-trip transportation from your hotel.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel, and get ready for a personalized tour of Singapore street food.

The flexible tour is organized around the hawker food centers of at least six neighborhoods: Chinatown, Geylang, Kampong Glam, The Heartlands, Joo Chiat/Katong, and Little India.

Visit a few of these centers, depending on the desire of your group and guides. Sample a range of local delicacies at each destination.

Between dishes, your guide takes you to neighborhood shops and markets, where you walk about and are immersed in local life.

Finish the tour with a drop-off at the original departure point.

A great local experience

We met Gerry in our hotel, traveled to a hawker center, and had the best evening. Gerry is knowledgeable, good company, accommodating, everything you could wish for when you want to have great food and to learn about a new place from a local.
