Your tour begins at Possession Point, where the British landed to take control of the city in 1841. After listening to a brief history of colonial Hong Kong, the group, capped at 12 people, walks along the Sun Yat-Sen historical trail, which pays tribute to China’s founding father.

Get an insider’s look at the popular Sheung Wan district, one of the first neighborhoods the British settled and now a vibrant food and shopping hub. Explore overlooked sights, such as the Victorian Prison Compound, Hong Kong’s first prison, and the oldest Anglican church in Asia. Your guide also introduces you to contemporary Hong Kong’s up-and-coming places, such as the Fringe Club, a forum for emerging artists.

The walking tour concludes at the Wan Chai waterfront, where the city celebrated its transfer of sovereignty to China in 1997. Enjoy time exploring the waterside promenade on your own before heading back to your hotel.
