Overview
This amazing and worry free day trip of Beijing will take you to see all the top attractions in Beijing, including Great Wall of Mutianyu, Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. An authentic Chinese lunch, attraction entrance fee, cable car or toboggan fee on the Great Wall, private guide and transfer service are all inclusive!
What to Expect
Around 8:30am, you will be picked up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing. Your first destination is the Mutianyu Great Wall (1.5 to 2 hours driving time from Beijing downtown), and it's one of the most famous and ideal section of the Great Wall. Besides hiking on the wall, you can enjoy either a cable car ride or chairlift/toboggan ride to explore the beauty of the area.

During lunch time, you will enjoy a very authentic Chinese meal in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to Tian’anmen Square, the Top 10 world’s largest public square and is able to accommodate 1,000,000 people at one time. Then, visit the magnificent Forbidden City, the imperial palace for twenty-four emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Spend a couple hours to wander around this amazing palace complex (surrounded by a 52-meter-wide moat and a 10-meter-high wall are more than 8,700 rooms).

At the end, you will be transferred back to your centrally located hotel in Beijing.

I recently went for my first trip to Beijing with my wife. I had a stroke 5 years ago, so my mobility is not too good. Sarah was attending enough to factor that so her advice was to leave the hotel slightly earlier. The first...More
